Message functions

Problem 1: No option to create a new message to coworkers from the mobile app, until you open any message in your inbox.
Problem 2: REPLY function creates a message back to yourself!!! Careful!
Problem 3: Typing in the body of a message scrolls you down to the end of the message & you can’t see what your typing!! Good luck trying to fix the message after that!

App is glitchy

I have had multiple complaints from our fueld staff about AxxessHomeHealth. Axxess has integrated AxxessHomeHealth into their pricing schema and have pushed it's use in the field for documentation and EVV.

Several nurses have complained that their documentation was lost while using AxxessHomeHealth due to crashing. Axxess has poor support and are slow to respond. A common fix is to delete and reinstall but it's not an effective or lasting fix.

There are far better examples of EMRs out there for the home health industry which include an intuitive, useful, and stable app to compliment their full suite of web based services.

Getting worse and worse

I’m on an iPhone 8 Plus, the 13.5 update doesn’t play well with this update, login issues, blank text boxes. Fine, I downgraded back to 13.4.1, app works. That was a week ago. I login today, half of AxxessHomeHealth is black, signature box is impossible to sign in because it keeps bouncing, I don’t even attempt to do my visit notes on mobile. It’s just getting worse. Potential home health agencies stay away. I feel any positive reviews are paid or alts by employees.

First review I’ve written for an app ever

I never thought AxxessHomeHealth was super intuitive but it worked for me. This last update, everything is black and I cannot see any of my patient names. If I have 10 visits in one day, I can’t see who they are unless I go all the way into the patient chart. Even on visit verify I can’t see the names. That’s a safety issue. This needs to be fixed immediately and I don’t know what coder and developer they have doing this but they need a new one. This is really going to set me back as far as charting on time goes.

Terrible app

Glitches often, doesn’t save entered data, maps not always working properly, EVV doesn’t always work, logging in and out is tedious if you get timed out, does not remember log in credentials, documents and patient chart info is not always available. A lot of times you have to double document. Would not recommend, it can be very time consuming and calling support is no help because it takes weeks for them to get back to you.

Terrible

Have been using for about 5 months and it’s completely unusable at this point. I’ve deleted and reinstalled and still can’t see anything I type so can’t login. Before that started yesterday, it would randomly log me out right when I was needing to verify a shift. Or it would act as though I never started a visit verification. And why is the cancel visit verification RIGHT below where you verify, it makes it very easy to accidentally cancel a verification already in process. Will be letting my agency know how dysfunctional AxxessHomeHealth is - can’t even use it at this point. Please fix! I’m on an iPhone XS Max.

Unreliable and frustrating to use

This program has a lot of potential, like the map to location feature, easy charting page however app and program down often, have to delete and reinstall often ( and that doesn’t always fix the issue), its a pain always Needing to go from program to app to complete charting, inconvenient to move patients scheduled visits , pain that I have to associate MDs name to updated meds each time, and when putting in wound orders need to associate - why can’t this feature do it auto? This program takes so much out of already long day. It just not user friendly

Just throw the whole app away

AxxessHomeHealth is supposed to be easy to use , however it has been everything but easy. Either it’s not loading, it’s kicking you out of verification process or making u start all over and if you do tht it literally signs u in at the time u tried to sign as ur sign in time and forgets all the time u just worked. IT’s confusing I know. My employer is looking at me stupid when it’s this stupid app not doing wht it’s supposed to do. It has been loading for the longest I still have not been able to sign in although I’ve been here an hr already. It’s supposed to cut ur time in half but it’s making me loose even more time due to the crappy way it runs

Functionality

I felt badly and almost rated it 3 stars, but I decided not to. First review ever for an app and I’ve had an iPhone for over 10 years. The concept is great. However AxxessHomeHealth should be more functional. There should be a way to toggle between screens or shortcuts. I dislike having to go in between patients and hitting the back button 5x to do so. Would also be great if it was faster.

Copy paste

Can no longer copy paste from documents after the update. This makes my charting much longer since I have to type everything out for the patients plan instead of copy pasting it from the PTs plan of care. Please fix this

Update: when documenting a missed visit, signing is difficult as the screen scrolls up and down making it nearly impossible to have a signature. Does not do this when completing a visit though.

Frustrating app

Always seems to have one glitch from another, freezes, does not accept your PIN , often cant login to AxxessHomeHealth so I cannot use for patient to sign the EV signature or get in to document charting while in pt home. Our staff tried to call about it to the IT dept and she was told she needs to just delete AxxessHomeHealth and reinstall which we keep doing frequently, and still remains a problem. She was then told to just buy a new phone. I don’t know if other software company are acting up like this, it might be worth switching to another software provider who offers the tools that can really work for the clinician when we are on the field.

Oasis

Once submitted by staff you cannot access if you missed any documentation it had to be reopen again by QA to view . Takes forever .
Oasis for ROC should be prefilled
Data from previous history of patient then we as nurses if there’s is any changes we document the update changes .

No access to wound manager if you wanted to compare the wound progress of a patient documented by other healthcare provider .

Hope you like docs being deleted

AxxessHomeHealth is a great idea with a great layout. But, it has been historically glitchy. It’s better than it used to be though and I have raised it from 1 to 2 stars. I have been using it for about 2 years and STILL get my notes from AxxessHomeHealth randomly deleted and taken back to the login screen which fun when it happens AFTER the note is done.

Very Buggy

Very Buggy performance. The passcode won’t work frequently, will log you out completely, currently won’t take Caregiver signature for Electronic Verification (that’s the only primary reason we have it on our phones or tablets). Other than that clinically very limited. . I have no idea why they a document download option as it doesn’t allow us to do any documentation.

AxxessHomeHealth kicks me out often, makes me waste precious time. It is very frustrating. It takes forever to go from one page to another, it freezes and sometimes I can’t go from one page to another at all! Sometimes it tells me I have the wrong PIN and it refreshes without asking and makes me waste time. It develops my parience- that’s a positive view of things!

We need a “previous visit” feature like on the site

It’s easier to use AxxessHomeHealth on my phone while seeing a patient but it takes me longer to finish a note as there is no “previous visit” feature, that I’m aware of, in AxxessHomeHealth . Can you please add that? That would reduce documentation time

Good start but needs to be taken more seriously

AxxessHomeHealth is a good start for documenting. I’m a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant who utilizes AxxessHomeHealth every day to document my home care visits.

What it needs to improve

1. Copy/Pull ADL skills, balance, and other parts from the eval when starting a new visit note. Right now I have to go back and pull up the eval and copy/type the ADL skills every time. Same for balance, home bound reasons, deficits. Every single time. If this was pre-populated once the eval was completed, this would make my life 100% easier.

2. Easy way to look at eval while documenting current visit without destroying what I’m currently documenting.

3. Being able to get a signature from patients for Therapy Visits on here similar to Balajie. This would decrease my visits to my agency office. Which I would love.

4. Fix the bugs and glitches. Going back once a visit is created goes to a blank screen. Some of the boxes and words overlap.

5. Utilize the screen real estate better on the iPad. There is so much screen! Multitasking features would be amazing similar to the website/desktop app.

This is a great start! It’s already helped me day by day but we clinicians need faster and more meaningful updates.

Pretty good app

App is pretty good once you learn how to use it correctly. I also have to make sure to keep up with the updates. So far haven’t had very many problems that I can tally complain about most were user error.

Nothing is perfect

But Axxess is as close as I have seen and I have used many different point of care solutions. You will never find an app that is 100% the perfect solution for all users. As with any app, some updates may cause an unexpected use case or error, but Axxess has been good about correcting any issues quickly and effectively.

Review

I like how easy it is to document and that I can load a previous note and wound documentation is easy with the wound manager. I also like that I can see my patients chart. Lots of time saving features.
