Naked — 3D Home Body Scanner Reviews

My amazing chiropractor Rikke Johansen at Health Logic in Menlo Park, CA, is beta testing the Naked Labs body scanner in her office. While the first scan result in December was cringeworthy, I am, and always have been body-positive—but the scan doesn’t lie. It gave me a wake-up call to get moving, and I was so excited by the results of my second scan in January. I dropped 10% body fat. The bathroom scale showed a loss of only .5 pound, but the clear change in body composition (4 inches lost in the waist, 1 inch in hips, etc.) and body fat vs. lean muscle is very rewarding and gives me motivating feedback to keep going. I can’t wait until next month! Yes, it won’t make you feel good, that’s for sure. If, on the other hand, you were making that New Year’s resolution to shed some weight and tone those muscles (and have a plan in place), it’s ideal, because you get an early peek at results that don’t show up on the scale. I’ve always heard muscle is heavier than fat, but to see the physical changes when you put in the work, but maybe don’t see reflected on the scale yet, is motivating. I’m doing yoga, going to Orange Theory Fitness (a one-hour run-row-weights class), and biking on a Peloton. I’m a social exerciser who is motivated by challenges, so these scans are keeping me going while I see and feel the changes of being more active.

I have had this product for almost 2 years and have used it sporadically on and off. Wanted to get back into the swing of things so I fired it up last week and it wouldn’t work. Emailed customer service and Thomas emailed me back and was on top of everything. After about a couple days of back and forth we figured out the problem. I realized my mirror was out of warranty but they shipped me the part I needed and in a couple days I was back up and running no problem. I know some people have said they have had issues but as of this post I can’t say enough about them. To me, they have a product that works (yes it’s expensive but we all knew that) and they stick by their product. Thanks Thomas for shipping me that new sensor so quickly!

The setup of the platform couldn’t have been more intuitive, and the scanning is really impressive! You can tell that they did extensive user testing when building Naked3DHomeBodyScanner ; it’s one of the most seamless UX flows I’ve ever experienced.

I’ve had a couple hardware updates that required interaction with the customer experience team, but Thomas Ward was notably professional and responsive, and everything got fixed right away!

I’ll be using the scanner for the foreseeable future - thanks for making such an outstanding product!

I really hope they can figure out how to scale up production on this scale/scanner. Naked3DHomeBodyScanner is so well designed with all the informational options you need to compare your body programming. Naked3DHomeBodyScanner gives you all the details to need to keep losing weight or gaining size in all the right areas. This is way more than just a scale it’s a tool that allows you to body tape in a few seconds instead of minutes, and give you 3D before and after which is FAR superior than pictures.

I’ve been using this product over two years and my scanner has always worked flawlessly. I’ve been tracking daily since I shifted to working from home for quarantine and it’s helped me stay on track and I’m down 9.3 pounds of body fat in 10 months! I recently had an issue, it had to do with a Facebook SSO login problem, The support team at naked labs stayed in contact with me the entire time and resolved my issue perfectly. I appreciate how great they are to work with!

Best piece of fitness equipment I own, and way more valuable than a gym membership. The amount of information you get from this scanner is amazing. Seeing a Terminator-style liquid metal image of yourself as you get in shape and lose weight is incredible. Best motivation ever to stick with the program, and invaluable feedback to know whether what you’re doing is working. Expensive piece of tech, but no more so than a treadmill. I actually look forward to the morning scan to see how I’m doing, and just because it’s so stinkin’ cool.

Been with these guys since the beginning. Scanner still working well. Thank you for continuing to update Naked3DHomeBodyScanner to work with iOS that is constantly upgrading and changing!!!! BTW... to those reviewing negatively about app not scanning... Naked3DHomeBodyScanner is for a special mirror and scale device you would have had to have purchased separately... Amazing tool with amazing support staff. Can’t say enough about how helpful and how prompt their support team is. I had this mirror for 2 years and it provided excellent feed back on my progress . And when I needed help to fix a problem, they went above and beyond and repaired it at no cost even though it was beyond the warranty periods.

Been using the scanner on and off for a year now. Customer support is excellent but Naked3DHomeBodyScanner needs some updates as the top menu is very hard to access with newer iPhone with the FaceID notch.

While the scanner is a big investment, the scan quality, precise measurements, objective data, real-world motivation, and intuitive app make the purchase worth it. In terms of Naked3DHomeBodyScanner itself, it's user-friendly and clean, while offering rich data, useful features, and moments of delight through thoughtful illustrations and animations.

This is cutting edge fitness technology that measures and tracks changes in body composition and size. The great thing about this system is that in addition to being highly accurate, you use this tool in the comfort and convenience of your own home.

As a personal observation, it’s beautifully designed. Very ‘Apple-esq’ in design and function.

The flow/design of Naked3DHomeBodyScanner creates a powerful user experience from the moment you open the boxes to your first scan and continues with every scan there after.

Live my naked scanner, and it se it several times a week to get valuable data points. Was so happy to see the update with integration to Apple health today! It is working flawlessly for me and all my previous data has synced! I also love the waist to hip ratio addition! So much more useful than BMI!

It's pretty insane how detailed and accurate these scans are. The measurements tool is really helping me understand little changes in my body. Beautiful app, beautiful product

Its only be a month, but Naked is working. It’s so motivating to finally see a realistic, accurate depiction of my body. Scanning weekly has kept me accountable. Plus Naked3DHomeBodyScanner is gorgeous!

Naked3DHomeBodyScanner and the product are both second to none. I have had no issues at all!

Installed on Apple 8. App does not connect to device, regardless of troubleshooting steps. Support is non existent. While call, chat or email is listed as ways of contacting, no responses on any channel even elicited a response. After days and numerous attempts to make this work, I would suggest not wasting your time with Naked3DHomeBodyScanner or money on the device.

Naked has developed an excellent body fat measuring device for the fitness enthusiast. It’s sleek design and ease of operation make it a must have item!

Love this product and all it tells me about my body. Super easy to use too!
