Fun Game but buyers beware

This game is a fun game and very addictive, so addictive that I paid $2.99 to get the full version and then another $1.99 to get gold bars which you need to be able to advance in the game. My game froze and so I deleted TaptoCook from my iPad and then reinstalled the game and now I am at the beginning of this game. I have lost all of my purchases, I have emailed TaptoCook support and got no response, went to the gamehouse web site followed there suggestion on how to trouble shot and still nothing. Once again I emailed game house and still have not gotten a response. Buyers beware of TaptoCook.

Too many roadblocks to be good

This could be a really good and challenging time management game. However, 1) it is impossible to upgrade unless you purchase gold. 2) You make bucks but have nothing to spend them on. They are completely useless and arbitrary. 3) There are ads each and every time you finish a section. Summary: Rather than trying to make a good game with reasonable ads on which they will make money, the makers just seem to want to make as much money as possible from both their promotional clients and the players by jamming the game full of ads and requiring you to spend money on any upgrades.

Poor Setup

This is a really cute game and is great for passing time. However some changes could be made to improve the game. 1. The lettuce is in a really bad spot. I'm constantly putting fries on my burgers. 2. Why do I have money with nothing to spend it on? 3. The gold is stupid. Things to buy gold with are way over priced. 4. What's a badge? There is very little explanation for these. I only know I can get them and I don't have enough to move on to the best city. 4. Fix the "like us" notice. I've liked you on Facebook but it constantly tells me to. 5. Same thing with the tutorials in each level. I only need to see it once, not every time I go back to that level.

Great but ...

I love the game. I full version of Bush hot dog game and this one. They're fun and are addictive. However there are some areas that we need to be changed and/or improved
#1-- need to be able to use the money we earn
#2 -- need to be able to restart game if you finish or just want to start all over.
#3 -- the upgrades cost to much gold
#4 -- let us use our money we earn to buy gold or purchase upgrades. It serves no purpose otherwise.

Great Cooking Game BUT

I enjoy playing this game, but, like others I'm not sure what the coins are all about. What does it matter how much total money I make, if I can't spend it on anything or it doesn't get me anywhere? Also think there are some food spacing issues. For example, the fryer items being too close together that I might accidentally give someone tots instead of fries. I also paid for this game to unlock all the levels, but don't really feel like it got me much.

Issues

Tried to buy the offer to unlock the 5 cities and has been given the “sorry cannot be completed” every single time. Is anyone even monitoring this game or keeping up with glitches and errors. I absolutely love this game but what’s the purpose of playing if you can’t even get help. Secondly, the gold is a bit much for upgrades and the coins are useless! This game is one of my favorites but just like Hot Dog Bush, your developers don’t give a crap about this game or it’s players!

Will work for food!!

The game is awesome and addictive! The $3 is worth it for the ad-free aspect alone!! Need to be able to use that hard-earned money for equipment or food upgrades. My issue is the game doesn't sync together between my iPad and iPhone. Same user id's and I log in with the Game Center thingy. It shows the upgrade on both devices but not my progress. Anyone else have that issue? Other than that, love love love it!!! My hands are crippling I play so much!!

Entertaining, challenging, long lasting

This game is not one that you can beat quickly, which is nice. You get a long while of fun for what you pay, and the levels are just the right level of difficulty. Hard enough to give you something to work towards, but not so hard that they become frustrating.
The only reason I did not give a five star rating is because of the money system in the game. I like that you can earn gold blocks throughout the game so that you don't have to buy them. However, I don't like the coin system. I have racked up tons and tons of coins but there is nothing to spend them on. You should at least be able to buy more gold blocks, or buy certain upgrades with the coins. As it is, they are pretty much pointless.

So in love with this game! But...

I freaking love this game. I play it none stop, so I bet your wondering why I gave it 4 stars if it's awesome! Well, I agree with most of the people who already brought up the view about the coins. I love the cool unique way that you guys choose to keep our score, but I agree that we should be able to buy stuff with them! It'd be nice addition. Lol! Anyway, awesome game I totally recommend and the package is totally worth buying. 👍😊❤️💛💙💜💚

This game....

I like this game very much. It is fast paced and really keeps your interest. As others have said I do not like the ads between each play especially the long ones. You should try and stop these for the give the player lots of opportunities to lose interest and go to another game. I do like the fact that you can play for a real long time without having to pay to continue.

***Updated: Fun but issues

this is a fun game. Some cons are: customers that do not drop gold ***fixed by refreshing the shopping cart. It restored my old purchase. also the no ad feature is glitchy. Still get a faded black screen where ad is but you can close it immediately.*** I decided to go ahead and purchase some gold but it has yet to show up in the game 12+ hours so far.

The game it self is good it jus need to be updated

The game & all the levels are amazingly addictive. But the game tends to crash alot. At one point in the game the screen will go black & my only solution would be to delete TaptoCook & re download the game which causes me to restart the entire game. Also i think the game could improve by being able to buy gold with the cash you make whiling payin the game.

Meh...

I love cooking games like this, especially when I can't sleep. I give this game 2 stars for several reasons. The first is the coin system...it's a blatant redundancy, and seems to serve no purpose at all. If you will not even devise a way for coin to be spent, get rid of the feature. 2) Layout of food items. As the levels progress, the locations of new condiments are so poorly organized that it is very easy to feel clumsy while trying to play. 3) Why do upgrades cost so many Gold Bars? If you are going to start us out with only 300 bars, and force us to buy a pointless bell valued at 50 bars, then be sensitive about the costs of each upgrade, because many are over 250 bars. Because of this mandatory bell purchase, our upgrade selection diminishes greatly unless more bars are purchased with a credit card. You might consider applying coin to some of the upgrades. That would give the pointless feature some much needed purpose in the game. 4) Adverts previous to, and following each level is a bit extreme by any app standards. Some of these adverts are heavy on the video processors, and cause the game to crash. 5) Background noises become maddeningly repetitive. This is a great start, but less greed and more quality would be spot on...especially if you expect your players to invest in your game.

Amazing!

This game is hands downs just amazing. It's not too easy where you cam fly though the levels and beat it and it's not too hard where you just want to quit. It's a great time management game with lots of food options, cool upgrades, cute graphics, and lots of levels to keep you entertained for hours. I def recommend to get the starter sock for extra gold, levels, and cool booster. This game will keep you hooked for hours!!

Love the game but wish the full version would sync to both of my devices

Love the game on my very old iPad but unhappy that the version I paid for doesn’t transfer to my iPhone 5 (several years old). Is there a way for the paid version to also be available on my iPhone? I sync them both to the same computer (I prefer not to use the cloud).

Tap to Cook

This is actually one of the best games I've bought from TaptoCook Store. It was well worth the $3!! I love how the game is challenging but not impossible. It actually takes time to work through it but not so much that it gets aggravating. I also love the fact that you can earn gold to purchase things so after the first $3 I'm not spending more and more money.

Love this game but...

I love this game. I probably play it way more than I should. But I was wondering if anyone else is having problems loading the game? I have this problem a lot. It goes to the black screen and starts making that loading circle and than freezes. I have an iPhone 6 plus. Hope they fix it soon cause I am pretty far in the game.

FEEDBACK

When I go to a new level with new food I want the items added one at a time like the beginning of the game was. So in San Francisco, start with fish sandwich, next level add Mayo, then hot dog, etc. Not everything available at first. Because in the old game I LOVE to play the first level which is just burgers so I can cook a lot of simple orders fast. The later more complicated orders is a different kind of fun.

App Trouble

I really enjoy this game very much, but I gave it only 3 stars because TaptoCook crashed & it would not restore my purchase like it claims. I paid the 2.99 prior to the crash and purchased equipment upgrades. Sadly all that was a waste because my purchases have yet to be restored. Nonetheless it is still a fun game to play when passing the time.

Great BUT!!! ......

I really like this game and the characters are fun BUT!!! when I paid money for this game I didn't realize I wasn't really getting the whole game. I hate games where you have to in app purchase. I feel like if I pay for the game, I should get the whole game. I gave this 4 stars because I really like the game but hate the sneaky greed factor. If you want more money for a game you should just charge up front for what you feel is a fair price based on quality and ease of play, number of levels etc.
