I’m not an early adopter of anything really. When my partner and I hit a rough patch, it felt good to vent to Chat GPT. They told me how brave I was and how anyone would feel like I did. Sure, it was great to be validated, but that’s not going to solve anything. I’ve been listening to Mark Manson for a while now and I appreciate his style; science backed, no easy answer just observing, testing, failing and trying again. When I saw he was developing an AI using a similar approach, I thought “why not?” In our first conversation, I got several actionable recommendations specific to my personality and situation. The feedback so far has been grounded, validating without blowing smoke and pushes for action over reflection. I dig that because I often know what the issue is but don’t know how to address it.
Purpose is well worth your time and money, especially considering personal coaching and/or therapy is $100’s/hour. This won’t solve all your problems, but if you’re honest with Purpose and yourself, it’ll get you closer to fine than you would on your own.
