4.7 out of 5
Unnecessary aggression within the app.

I’ll give OneThing this: it’s decently effective at breaking scrolling and social media habits, but it has a really huge flaw. Whenever OneThing , even if it’s wrong, detects you’re “lying” and not actually doing your daily task, it throws unnecessarily disrespectful insults at you. A few days ago, I had taken a picture of myself to demonstrate the task I was doing, and it had told me I was incorrect. That’s fine, but then it followed with insulting my appearance and even poked fun at certain facial features I had which apparently, according it’s commentary, made me look like “a mess.” Today, I took a picture of a new productivity calendar I had set up for myself to help with organizing my side hustle, under the category “work on business.” Not only did it say I was lying, which I wasn’t, but it also starting making fun of the information I had on my calendar and began mock the goals I had down in a very derogatory way.
If you want an app to break scrolling habits, go find another because this one will only insult you, even if the AI itself, not you, produces a false negative.

Price

Cost too much for an app the doesn’t work.

PAYWALL

Why paywall at least free version please

Buggy

OneThing helps a lot with time management. To be honest the idea is hella great. I bought the subscription and the first week was great, but during the next week bugs started to show themselves, blocks stopped working or the one thing timer sets itself some random work time. Today it even started by itself and didn’t record it anywhere. Blocks are gone and I didn’t even do the one thing. For the discomfort I’m putting the 3 stars, waiting for the bug fixes after which we’ll see.

Doesn’t work well

You can’t set daily schedule blocks because they stop working. OneThing has many bugs, but it has a lot of potential if fixed. Buying a subscription would be a waste of money.

Love the app.

I love OneThing . Please add the option to add multiple blocks though. For instance blocked till I study, and another for block for reading. You could still keep the name because I know that’s the premise of OneThing but I find it very frustrating to only have one block available.

The pest app in my phone

It really benefits
