Sadly this watered down version of Premiere for mobile is worse than the old Rush app. Completely wasted my time editing a 5 minute short on iPad only to have the app not complete an export. It just hangs up at 2% completion, changing resolution or quality settings doesn’t change anything. Uploading my micro project to the Adobe Cloud via the Premiere Desktop Beta is the only way to possibly recover the time I’ve spent.

I had been waiting years for premier to come to iPad … only to be completely devastated. Here’s a brief list of what’s not available. Auto color-grade (not even basic current frame grade let alone the sensei full clip modeling), no hotkeys, no way to export to internal or external storage, no effects other than a few Lightroom presets. It feels like they spent the better part of a week making this and it shows.

Basically just a dumbed down version of CapCut as if CapCut wasn’t dumbed down enough. Too focused on gimmicky AI features and not on the tools that people actually need to use. No key frames, limited animation options, no speed ramping and as far as I know not even a way to save color presets. Pretty ridiculous
