Photofy Content Creation Reviews

This has been my favorite app for years now! It has the largest selection of stickers & frames of any app I’ve found! Its well made & easy to navigate! Up until yesterday I would have given it 5 stars but there must have been a recent update because today I went to search the stickers for “family” stickers & normally I have a huge selection of little quotes & sayings to choose from but it seems all of the quotes/sayings have been moved to the purchased tab. I am ok with that thought of organization BUT there is no way to search them now because they are categorized by artist. So in the past when I searched “family” and all the quotes, saying & stickers came up relating to family making it super easy for me to choose from a wide selection, now I cannot find any of the quote/sayings that use to pop up under stickers to use relating to “family” because there is no way to search for the quotes/sayings that I used to much in the past! This was my favorite thing about that app that I had the ability to search under stickers and SO many stickers popped up. I would see quotes & sayings I liked for a particular project & had no problem purchasing the one I wanted. I wish you would bring the quotes/saying back into the sticker tab OR make the “purchased” tab searchable. Thanks for maintaining such an AWESOME fun app!

Simple and quick with a lot of options.
I mainly use Photofy to quickly change the size of photos (especially with the insta-square option) and add my business name/logo. Every now and then, I’ll make a collage or use the stickers just to mess around and there are a lot of simple and cute ones that aren’t tacky.
Most of the artist bundles are only $1-$3, come with hundreds of options and since they’re made by the same person, they have the same cohesive style. I’ve been using Photofy for at least a few years and it’s the one that I always seem to come right back to after trying others.

*4/5 stars only because I unlocked certain features and had my business logo uploaded through my first account a couple years ago and every time I’ve tried to sign in to that account it acts weird and doesn’t give me the option to reset the password either. So I just made a new one without all the stuff that I previously had unlocked.

I love using Photofy for my Scentsy graphic creations because I love the features they offer! For one, Photofy is the only app I am aware of that has a partnership with Scentsy so that you can get access to Scentsy content including images, logos, pre-made graphics, etc that you know is within Scentsy Compliance. Second, I love the versatility of Photofy! There are so many ways you can change, add, remove, all the different ways to customize your graphics to match your branding, so no two graphics are ever exactly the same. And, third the training and resources Photofy has to offer to help you get either as detailed or as basic as you’d like is absolutely amazing!

I enjoy PhotofyContentCreation for its ease of use and it’s options for making pictures take on new life, but I’ve purchased the watermark removal before and I’ve purchased the full filter packs, and I’ve purchased them twice each. Pretty sure I e also purchased the fonts and some other stickers, but it’s been a while and they are gone now too. For some reason, they disappear after a while and I no longer have access to them. I’m not purchasing them a third time when other apps are comparable. Been using photofy for years, but I think I’m finally done.

If you like the free version, it’s a decent app and photo editor tool. The photo quality isn’t good for large prints but for small ones or internet use, it’s good. But don’t bother with the in app purchases - if they were actual one time purchases it would all get a 5 star review.

I received Photofy as a special free “Feature” with a business account.

It sounded good but I could not use the software on a computer, it was an app, that seems to be only accessible and usable on a 6-inch mobile screen.

As I mentioned this was a “free perk” with our NAR membership. The average age of a NAR member is 51-years old. Even if members are tech-savvy, they may not want to edit personal photos on a 6-inch phone screen.

So then I thought, well, I’ll download it on my ipad. I was successfully able to download it but for ease of use, I use a keyboard and my ipad horizontally. PhotofyContentCreation , however, would not turn when the screen was rotated. If I wanted to use it on an ipad, I would have to remove my ipad from the case and disengage my keyboard.

What a pain…. But, I wanted to try PhotofyContentCreation . So I did that and then went through and looked at all the templates. I was amazed at the level of unattractiveness and lack of originality in the business templates. What a snooze-fest, so boring! Then I went and looked at the “personal” templates and collages and trending graphics and images. Those were better but still very limited.

I think another service, such as Ribbet or Canva are probably better choices for me, as I can use both of these on either a computer or mobile device.

I will say this is a great app however they offer way too many things to purchase at such high prices. I stopped using it so frequent because every other time it was crashing after i spent so long editing. PhotofyContentCreation does offer free great picture editing fx, lighting fx (stars, "bubbles", swirls, etc), offers a tab "InstaSquare" so it fits perfectly in Instagram. It also offers great editing. You can add backgrounds of your own photos to which you can blur to your liking, which I love. The text portion offers a lot of fonts BUT offers a select few of FREE colors and patterns, which I find to be quite lame. Basic summary, I enjoy PhotofyContentCreation but hate how much stuff they don't offer and the prices are too high for each “package” especially when PhotofyContentCreation crashes too often.

I have had PhotofyContentCreation for years, I had it for several years when I had a galaxy An I downloaded it as soon as I got my iPhone a year ago. I do love PhotofyContentCreation but.... a lot of the artwork An stickers have been taken off with updates. What I love about PhotofyContentCreation is all the milestones An stickers you can put on your pictures. Also I’m seeing that more an more aren’t free anymore. My husband is a firefighter an there isn’t a single sticker or artwork that has anything to do wit a fire man, not fire trucks, not I love my fireman. We also have 3 kids so I’d love to see some for the kids as well. I do love that you have added all the colors An textures for the borders though. Keep up the good work add more stickers an artwork that’s free with a variety of stuff.

Recently left a review about Photofy crashing when trying to save on iPhone X with only a few stickers... It seems like this was addressed and now the screen loads and offers ways to share the creation etc... However, after just testing again with a few stickers the camera roll image vanished... So the save screen showed a blank white background with my frame and stickers... So I closed PhotofyContentCreation and tried again, added a frame, and when I went to add stickers the frame vanished while still actively searching for stickers... I had to reapply the frame 3x before PhotofyContentCreation crashed on me and I lost all of my progress... So while I appreciate Photofy’s attempts at fixing the previous bugs with the 5.7 update, it seems some annoying ones still exist... Please fix this!!! 🙏💕

This is the worse service ever!!! There was never any new products listed, hard to use. I get my own photos and use another program. Which I can use on my phone and computer! When I sent an email to cancel they charged my card anyway and when I’ve tried to get my money back it’s been a hassle!! Of course they said they are sending my concerns to a manager, has one gotten back with me NO! I do not recommend this service at all to anyone not even worth the money. You might as well get the photos on your own and use another program which is better. I have it 5 stars so my review can be seen!

I recently was introduced to PhotofyContentCreation to do some creative posts for a Facebook group I help to manage. I love it and have really gotten in to editing and creating great posts for all kinds of subjects. I’ve even started using it for my own personal photos. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Best part about PhotofyContentCreation is that although you can purchase extras, it’s not necessary because it already comes with great options for free. I did purchase a few things but only to broaden what I can do, not because the options I had weren’t good.

PhotofyContentCreation is great, always has what I am looking for. However, I hate that I have to spend money anytime I want to bring my photo or collage to the next level. And it’s not just “99¢ for one sticker,” they make you buy their sticker packs and packages. It’s always this, that and the third.

Some days I consider using free editing on my phone and social media, but I run a fan account and quality edits are the majority of what brings viewers.

Idk, seems to me they could cut common folks a break, so that we can create beautiful and special moments with this awesome app, WITHOUT breaking the bank. But maybe that’s just me. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ve been using PhotofyContentCreation since my now two year old hit a month old to keep up with the month milestones and special markers a baby goes through. Many good additions are free, the ones that you have to buy are inexpensive and they’re yours forever so why not get a bundle with 200 stickers you love for a dollar or two? They’ve added so much to my little crotch goblins pictures that I’ve got most of my family using PhotofyContentCreation now. My only complaint is I wish it was easier to see the picture you’re picking to edit, like a preview, before you go into the editing screen. I’ve had to back out several times but overall that’s not a big deal.

Two years ago when I was chronicling my daughter’s first year I loved PhotofyContentCreation. I used it every month to make a highlight collage. Can’t remember experiencing problems. Now I’m attempting to do the same during my son’s first year and I notice a huge difference in PhotofyContentCreation . The collage’s take forever to load now. Trying to use the bottoms in PhotofyContentCreation also takes longer than it did before. Sometimes I have to push on the same button multiple times before it even registers. PhotofyContentCreation also crashes often which is pretty frustrating when you have been trying to finish a simple project. Now I’m trying to decide if I want to soldier through with PhotofyContentCreation so my kids have the same highlight collage. Or find a new app.

Amazing app. 💕 Yes you do have to purchase packages. But there are *some* free items. I currently am in love with the Paper So Pretty Package & the Photofy Premium Package. Love love love. ✨ Only bad thing I could say is I used to have PhotofyContentCreation on my old phone and when it tried restoring purchases which are what Packages I mentioned above it wouldn't restore them. And so I had to pay for them all over again because my "receipt was never found". Oh well. 😒 Great app if you love photo editing and adding cute effects and sayings. ☺️ Just a bummer on having to rebuy something I already had paid for. 😓

If you’d asked me 2 weeks ago about giving 5 stars, I would’ve definitely done that but at this point, PhotofyContentCreation has become pretty much unusable. All of the free things have literally disappeared. I don’t even have watermarks anymore, no font choices, nothing. I’ve attempted to contact support and have gotten no response. I’ve turned my phone off and back on. Nothing. I deleted PhotofyContentCreation and reloaded it. Nothing. And no available updates. I give up at this point. It’s a huge disappointment bc I loved PhotofyContentCreation . Hopefully something changes so it’s usable again.

I have been using Photofy to edit photos for around 4 years now. I’ve used it through both of my pregnancies, my two kiddos growing up and hitting milestones, and through 4 different businesses where I needed to make graphics.

I enjoy PhotofyContentCreation so much. It is easy to use, generally user friendly, and fun. The only thing that I wish were different was the ratio/size editing that happens as soon as you choose a photo to edit. I wish it would stay the original size unless you choose to change it manually. Otherwise, overall fantastic app.

I would love to give this five stars. There are many great features in PhotofyContentCreation, but two major flaws make it all but useless. First of all you cannot overlay photos, there is no “freestyle” options, multiple photos must be in a grid format. BUT WAY MORE IMPORTANTLY is that PhotofyContentCreation does not save your project automatically as you are working. Your projects are never saved, even upon completion, so you cannot go back and edit or alter something. Biggest problem is I have worked for awhile on a flyer or add for my business only to click “Done”, and have PhotofyContentCreation crash and lose all my work. It makes PhotofyContentCreation totally unusable. Although in its options and editing features this is a superior app compared to some, it becomes irrelevant in its overall usefulness. No one has the time to waste to potentially lose everything. Disappointing.

I’ve been using Photofy for nearly 3 years now. I love the variety of options available when it comes to quick photo edits (like flipping a photo horizontally), however, there are several frustrating things as well.

1) PhotofyContentCreation is super laggy. Perhaps it’s just my phone, but if it is, it’s just PhotofyContentCreation. I’ve cleared space and closed all apps but it just lags pretty bad.
2) You can’t overlay photos on top of each other...each photo must be in its own grid block no matter what.
3) Saving projects — you can’t. It says you can "save as project" and you’ll be able to edit it later, but I can never edit it later. It just comes up with a blank photo box stating to click to add a photo.
4) It’s annoying that the default ratio is "square" rather than "original"...a minor nuisance but still annoying.

I do LOVE all of the graphics, text & stickers that we can add to photos & collages, as well as the ability to save and reuse your logo on different projects. In theory the "save as project" feature is great, if only they could get it to work right.

I have used PhotofyContentCreation since it came out. I have created A LOT with PhotofyContentCreation. Love how you can add shadows, outlines, backgrounds, and masks to the fonts. If you are a social media manager or in a similar field, PhotofyContentCreation is a must. I have tried so so so many and this is the best one, with all it’s options. I haven’t bought into the post scheduling part because I don’t really know or heard much about it. Does it do analytics of the posts too?

* i feel that apps should give perks to users who have been there since the beginning and use them daily. Do any apps do that?

I do in fact use PhotofyContentCreation constantly but I get so frustrated when I am having to save multiple times during a flyer so I don’t take a chance of PhotofyContentCreation crashing when I finally am complete. This happens a lot and irks me I pay for PhotofyContentCreation for the Scentsy options. $20 a quarter is a lot to pay when I Have to take extra steps every project I do. Also having the option to add images would be wonderful so I didn’t have to use multiple apps for one flyer

The newest update is helping a lot with the crashing issues. Thank you so much. I use PhotofyContentCreation pretty much daily that fix made life easier.
