I was happy with Echo until my last meeting yesterday. Echo is still spinning the wheel trying to produce a report. I need this report urgently and it does not seem to be willing to spit it out.
Support is completely absent.

Echo tries to- but does not work for us. Why? Because we use a few Spanish words during our meetings - this app creates the entire meeting notes in Spanish - even though 99% of the meeting is/was in English. When I asked Echo to convert/translate the notes into English - it told me the. It’s were already in English. Customer Support appears non existent. Sorry I spent money on this.

The thing is I can’t pay for this and after the first time I used it (which at the time I didn’t know I had to pay to use notes) I lost the audio for the “notes” I took. Kinda disappointed but oh well

I recorded a really important meeting and clicked the generate notes button. Its an hour long meeting so its taking a while. I come back to Echo hoping its ready to go and there are no notes and the recording is gone. Be very careful trusting really important stuff to Echo. Thats a pretty significant bug there.

Not sure I’ve tried it four different times the only time it captured a meeting was one time. One time I was on a phone call on my phone and then never engaged. I pressed the record several times nothing happened. Never saw a clock. Then all of a sudden I saw the clicker up top that it was 20 minutes into the meeting, which should never gave me the ability to go into the meeting. Then I tried to save the meeting, and it was gone not even there. Don’t know what happened to it. That was like the second or third time that I tried it and it didn’t work. Now the one that did work it gave me great results and gave me a great Kind of based summary which is really AI predictable, but it wasn’t really business oriented. So I think they can refine the AI model a little bit there. But overall, it’s not worth the money

Echo has so much potential. It is simple to use but you can’t save anything. When I try to save, it goes back to the AI generated title. There are no folders to organize the notes. 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ I’ve been trying to reach out to folk only to get an AI generated response with no real solutions on how to fix the problem. Is there a number to talk to someone. I’m trying not to give up on them and just go with another company. Can someone please HELP!!!! 😳😳😳

I’ve reached out four times for help and not a single response back. I’m a paid user and so, for better or worse, I expect support for that cost.

Echo doesn’t allow folders or any way to organize the notes , so it is less than efficient for filing/searching. The AI is absolutely amazing, tho, so I continue to use in spite of not getting support. If the AI weren’t so good, there would be a few less stars on my rating. :)

Echo doesn’t have a feature for running in the background while you’re listening to a meeting or watching a video on your phone you can hit record and then set it next to a laptop or something else that’s doing the playing, but Echo should be able to record in the background even if you’re not tapped into Echo itself. In addition, there should be a feature to upload videos not just audio recordings rarely do people have audio recordings of things a lot of times they just want what’s on the video so there should be a feature to dump a video on here and just get the audio from it other apps allow this.

App stuck frequently. Unable to create summary.
Lost important record and could not get the transcript. Cannot contact customer service to check if I can request for the transcript

It’s been almost two days now and this app is still transcribing 51 minutes of notes?

Echo is a game-changer for meetings! It’s fast, intuitive, and keeps my notes organized without distractions. The interface is clean, and the features are exactly what I need—nothing more, nothing less. Highly recommend!

Echo is definite for those who have to attend Sumits and meetings that require a lot of notetaking!! I was able to get all the key notes and important details wrapped up in a cute little PDF!!

Echo is actually great for a couple reasons first off. If you don’t like Echo design, you can change it to your own fitting. Echo is free to use and it’s easy to take notes. It even blocks out other peoples noises stuff someone’s being annoying and lecture, they will just cut it out. I recommend buying premium if you have the money if you don’t, it’s OK.

The notes are amazing. Ability to ask questions about the meeting is top notch. Alas, some features are less polished (e.g. the Mac version keep opening browser windows when I ask for new features)

This is pretty good, I’m happy that you’re still able to use it without a trial.

Synopsis accurately maintains the spirit and voice of the subject matter without injecting other opinions.
I’m impressed.

Echo has changed my work life. I love it!

Used this while attending a tech conference. It did an AMAZING job capturing all the audio and transcribing it to text as well as providing notes and summaries. Many of the speakers had English as a 2nd language and some were heavily accented and it still worked great. I will never attend a conference or training session without this from now on.
