If you’re gonna try to be like finch…

So I have and love the finch app and heard this was similar. I was not expecting almost the exact same layout. This didn’t really bother me too much, I enjoy the style/graphics and the fact that it’s a cat more.

However, I absolutely hate that it shows locked items that you can only obtain through getting this app plus… which is $79 a year while finch is half that price (and doesn’t shove in your face the potential extra items you could have)I’m even a guardian on finch because I find it worth it personally but I can’t justify trying to support this company that appears less genuine at nearly double the price.

With that said I hope that like this game, finch will allow for a bit of a bigger room and options as to where to put your items.

Inferior ripoff of Finch

I have both this app and Finch. I like the expressiveness of the cat, but that’s really all Catzy has going for it. Premium is REALLY expensive, and you really don’t get much without it. They rub the premium options in your face. Now, they seem to even have taken away the option to purchase the mystery box if you don’t have premium. Catzy doesn’t even have events, it just offers a few items for a while which are locked for non-premium users. I used it for a couple of months hoping it would improve, but it’s only gotten worse.

Less fun version of Finch

This game is cute and I was hoping it would be similar to Finch but unless you want to shell out for premium, it loses its appeal quickly. You're stuck in the same few worlds using your coins to purchase duplicates of the same few shop items. There are things I love about this game that Finch doesn't do, like collecting travel cards, but once you've completed all the free worlds, it gets boring fast. Unless you're going to pay for premium, I don't recommend bothering to download Catzy.

Was good at first, but got very confusing and frustrating

At first I absolutely loved Catzy, but then it started not working as well. Like I scheduled shower for Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, but it showed up on random days of the week. I reviewed everything to make sure all the settings on it were right, and they were. It said “weekly on tues, thurs, and sun” but there were some days it was on a Monday or just not there at all. Similar thing with another one, laundry. I scheduled laundry for every week on Sunday, but it never showed up. I’m really disappointed, and I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if it’s just Catzy . Very confusing and frustrating, but besides that glitch, I enjoyed it very much. I ended up just making all my tasks daily and just skipping it if I didn’t need to do it that day.

Good so far!

Enjoying it so far. A few suggestions:
1. Have the ability to have a goal that you complete X number of times within a certain period (week or month). For example, 5x every month. Sometimes I don’t have set days I need to do something, or I’m tracking something that’s not on specific dates or days.
2. Have the ability to see a monthly view from the “Journeys” section where you can see the entire month and select or click the dates within the calendar view and it will show more historical info/goals completed/reflections for each date. Will be less cluttered than showing your daily progress at the bottom in text format. If you have year long journeys, the current format will be very busy and cluttered.
3. Get rid of the automatic mood tracker that pops up several times a day. Or at least allow me to cancel out of it when it pops up. I’d rather there be an option to track your mood at the end of the day versus every couple of hours.
4. I have “thoughts” attached to some of my goals. But these thoughts don’t show up on your overall journey page. It only shows up these attached thoughts in the “history” section. But if you go to the history section and write a goal reflection from one of your completed goals, then your reflection will show up both in the history page as well as the journey page. It would be nice if thoughts that are tied with goal completion shows up in the journey section as well. That way I can write my reflections immediately after completing the task, versus having to go to the history section to write a reflection.
5. I haven’t gotten there yet, but there seems to only be 5 “levels” for the journeys. Many of my goals will probably be goals for years to come. Would love it if the journey levels did not max out at all and just kept going and we still get rewarded.
6. Maybe in the “insights” section, there can be a summary section of most completed goals and least completed to give insight into what areas that I need to improve my accountability. This will make it easier to provide insight into habits/goals if I have a lot of them.

Thanks for making Catzy, and please don’t ever get rid of journeys!!!

Good potential, better UI than Finch

Stopped using Finch because of how there were so many things to click daily. So far I am liking the UI of this app better, and I like the card collecting system. Finch's big, bold font and the bird taking up most of the screen fatigued my eyes. this app also seems to load like a second faster than Finch. This is important when you just want to take a quick look at your task list throughout the day. I also like how there's widgets for your tasks, which Finch didn't have.

I will say that the responses/questions your cat gives once it comes back from adventures are really strange, they're just like random ramblings. I don't know if they're AI-generated or a byproduct of poor translations, but it's definitely something that should be worked on.

I also really wish there was a way to toggle the "mood check-in" thing off completely. I know people missed that in finch, but I think a good compromise would have it on by default, then you can turn it off.

Beneficial for mental health

Catzy might seem childish on the outside, but you get great features without paying for premium and it’s genuinely motivating and encouraging to do simple tasks that can sometimes feel like a lot. 10/10 would recommend !

DOWNLOAD NOW

Catzy helps me get ready every morning making sure i don’t forget anything i have to do! I love it so much you can even add your own goals! It also checks up on how you’re doing, and you get to pick a cat along for your journey! totally recommend love it so much.

Catzy: Self-Care Journal

The most effective app I’ve tried on my life. Lately I’ve been using and searching for a lot of selfcare apps which would make my daily goals consistent, but non of these apps actually worked. Until, I tried this lovely app. Thank you so much for Catzy.

Super cute!

I downloaded Catzy after I stopped using my previous one due to questionable changes and practices made by the development team. I love the cat style of this game, and unlike the previous app I used, you can change the emojis for goals without needing to pay for premium! I’m already enjoying this app so much more

Recommended download!

I recommend to download its very helpful and is useful when trying to have motivation to do things and it helps me self regulate! It’s a very cute app and helps me actually do things, plus it is adorable to be able to dress up and choose your own cat! The memory jar is also very lovey, I recommend!!

Incredible

Absolutely love Catzy, the interface is wonderful, the vibes and the coziness, the options are really good for a free app.

It would be nice to incorporate a Widget feature and a Mac version, full screen.

Also, a tip section, I wouldn’t mind tipping every once in a while, since I can’t pay for all features but want to show my gratitude to the developers. 🙏

Actually helps so much!

Okay so I struggle a lot with my mental health and everyone told me I should use Finch and I did try Catzy but it just didn’t work it did at the beginning but slowly I just stopped using it but I decided to try another app similar to Finch and that’s when I found Catzy and I have to say I love it! I’ve always loved cats and cats have always been something I’ve loved since I was little so I think instead of a bird helping me the cat just clicks with me so much more I just wish there were more boy clothes cause I have a boy cat and whenever I wanna buy clothes for him I see the cutest little dresses and stuff but I want him to be a cute boy so I just wish there were more boy clothes other than that i absolutely love Catzy

Fast self-care app✨✨✨🌸

The best I help you with everything sometimes I’m off track like I forget to make my bed and stuff like that, but then can you get coins so you have to do your daily things so you just write them on and you get some point and you can buy cute accessories, clothing, furniture it’s the best it helps you a lot

Self care and cute?♡

this app is a app where you get a cat and then it becomes your selfcare buddy! You place down your goals for the day and when you finish your first 4 your cat goes on a mini vacation for 6 hours! Catzy has many things to help you like focus timers and breathing exercises! So, yes Catzy is a selfcare app and it's cute! ♡ Catzy has also made me very active! ♡

Fantastic

It is so good. It helps you with everything. I almost use it every day and it helps you keep on track and I love being a keep on track. I mean it text you it let you know and it lets you name your own cat and your cat names you whatever you would want to be named by
if you wanted to call you a queen or anything as you are then I’ll call you that so please get Catzy is amazing

Feedback

Hello!!

I have the this app app and I absolutely love it!

I have a few feedback tho!!

1. I think it would be very fun to add friends who has Catzy too. We can send clothes, furnitures and foods! Also send like good motivational quotes too!

2. Maybe have a thing where people from this app can sponsor other this app users! I would love to get the Subscription but I unfortunately can’t.

3. Maybe you guys can make a discord server for this app users, so we can interact with other this app users.

4. Kinda like the discord server but for facebook. Maybe y’all can make a facebook group for other this app users where they can post about their journeys, goals, their cat, etc etc.

It would seriously help a lot of people.

Please consider these feedback. I would love to hear back from you!

Honest Review

Catzy has helped me so so so much with organizing my schedule and as somebody that is very unorganized and always procrastinates, in a matter of eight days I changed!! I’m always late to school, but with this I wake up early because I enjoy getting tasks done so that my little cat can be happy!
The only thing you have to put is effort if you don’t put in effort then it’s useless. But if you do, you will see changes and results quickly!

Makes me feel better

People are really just talking about things that you should change about Catzy, but personally I think it’s great just the way it is. First of all I didn’t really have a motivation to really do anything that I needed to do, but setting goals on Catzy has made things fun, it gave me something to look forward to and makes me feel better about myself. Also it overall just
reminds me of the stuff I needed to do. And whenever I feel stressed Catzy can help me feel better which is mostly the reason I downloaded Catzy, I think overall it’s a good app if you want to get mentally better!

Love the art style

Super cute app that keeps habit tracking interesting. Only improvement would be I wish I could search emojis with keywords. I can’t wait to see how Catzy develops more over time. Probably my most used app 😇
