She didn’t even give the doctors a chance to say whether it looked cosmetic and just decided herself. Inappropriate and needs better moderation. Will be deleting RealSelf because of AnjaRealSelf.

Show more e still can’t edit our reviews, RealSelf is so glitchy, when I scroll down to see people’e reviews, I often see repetitive reviews and photos, the notification feature is basically useless on RealSelf , and VERY excessive on the website, and so on.

Maybe do a survey or have a team to improve and better our user experience because this is no doubt an amazing platform but I know it can be even better.

So I was “gagged” by this app who has the audacity to claim that they are consumer driven. No, they are paid advertising for doctors; even those doctors who are dangerous. I’m going to start my own website this app. I’m going to call it Botched Self. The consumers will be people who found their dangerous surgeons on this app. You should be sanctioned for the harm you have caused

When you have a bug that persists MoM why do you even keep that branch of the application on prod? Just tell your users you hate them lol.

All the other actions become inoperable, and you’re stuck with a spinning wheel… until you force quit and have to start your research over.

I’ve been using RealSelf for close to a year, and have never been able to play a video. There have been no major improvements to the search function, history or saved items and I would not describe RealSelf as enjoyable to use at ALL — it is simply necessary, and actually quite frustrating if you’re attempting to research properly, cross compare practitioners and organize your plans.

This is an awesome concept, that’s in need of a few tweaks and bug fixes. Personal inboxes (for comments, questions etc) are horribly threaded. There’s no chronological order. In the “questions” section, it’s next to impossible to expand

The layout for writing reviews and experiences is poorly formatted. You’re not quite sure what you’re writing, a review on the doctor or an experience, because the fields aren’t labeled properly—neither are the instructions. Anywho, fix that and it’s great.

I actually liked RealSelf better before the update. The problem is it’s very glitchy - sometimes you can’t see all the content in the reviews; the videos hardly ever work; and there’s no way to organize or filter the content. That means that you’ll see huge pictures of vaginas In your feed when you really don’t want to. And every time you do a search, the same content comes up even though it doesn’t seem to be in any sort of order. It doesn’t start with the newest review or the newest content, it just shows, I guess what would be the most relevant reviews or content? But there really should be a way to sort it so that if you want to see it by the newest review or most recent comments or something like that, you can.

While I appreciate the personal reviews and experiences of the patients, oftentimes I find the reviews to be
pretty old -going back years, sometimes. And in this age of rapidly advancing techniques and new materials, it gets dated quickly.
I wish more subscribers would post pre and post pro... Show more cedure photos, and updates after their procedures. Good, bad, or indifferent.
Without updates and revisions on reviews it kinda leaves the reader hanging.

I think this is a decent app, the reviews are insightful and the doctor’s advice is helpful too. It just seems a bit unorganized to me. It's great and very helpful and informative. But as some one who is reviewing, commenting, and asking and answering questions, it's needs to specify what my new notifications is. For example, All it'll tell me is I have 3 new notifications but won't tell me whether it was a comment, reply, inbox me... Show more ssage, or like on my review. I literally have to go dinging through everything I've commented on and such and will end up not replying to someone's question at all and I look rude. NOT COOL! Please fix immediately!

But there’s a lot of glitches so I just go on the website. Whenever you try to click a full review it just goes back so what’s the point?

In regards to developer response: when I click on a review in the list of reviews it goes to the individual review page with a button that says “Full Revi... Show more ew.” When I click it it just goes back to the previous page. There’s no way to read the full review. If I am doing this wrong, please let me know what to do.

I like many things about RealSelf. But it’s really hard to type. You have to type slowly and push each letter down hard or it doesn’t work. You can’t see very much of what you have written at a time. Only a sentence. It causes tons of typos, and lots of frustration. I have wanted to delete picture... Show more s from my review, but I can’t do it according to the directions I looked up.
Other than the technical difficulties and glitches, RealSelf is a great way to find out info on procedures and doctors.
For that reason I like it a lot.

RealSelf isn't as intuitive as it could be. Some features are hard to find. Uploading pictures from an iPhone is annoying as RealSelf automatically crops them so much that you have to edit the photo beforehand by adding more borders (and even still, it crops the hell out of it).
Trying to po... Show more st a question that you want providers to answer is complicated and you easily end up asking for a consultation with a bunch of local doctors instead (!)
Other features, such as covering up / blurring the photos (for NSFW situations) is very handy.

This is one of the best and only apps and websites I have found to find details of other, real patient experiences. I love the insight I receive from it, anyone considering cosmetic surgery should probably use it, but RealSelf itself has issues. You can’t edit anything once you post it. RealSelf ... Show more doesn’t seem to recognize what is your own content - my own reviews come up in my feed. Sometimes there’s difficulty posting media. There needs to be a better ability to search for content, like a forum with all doctor questions, etc. it automatically adds random treatments to “my treatments,” so photos I don’t want to see show up in the feed. I hope to see some promising updates because I do like the platform otherwise!

I do like hearing stories and seeing pictures, but....
I almost always choose the stories with pictures.

RealSelf makes me turn my iPad back and forth to read, and then to view...silly 1st world problem, but...
that problem does make me hesitate especially if I’m trying to be discreet... Show more .

Love seeing the results. I am 54 and wish I could see move on the day after the tummy tuck and the PAIN of it all. And why is the pain meds not helping. I like RealSelf and the purpose of it. But I find it very difficult to navigate. I click on one thing and it brings me to something different, it can be hard to search, screen switches fast. It just needs to be a-little bit more clear and user friendly

I suggested this long time ago via email but I guess you don’t take customers feedback seriously or you guys really don’t care but to satisfy the people who use RealSelf and have questions and for doctors to really examine before answering I suggested this app to collab with 3d/360 photo apps so... Dr JONOV and his team gave the absolute best bed side manner ever! I felt completely comfortable from the moment I walked in until I walked out and got into my car.
This team goes above and beyond any criteria to assist with patient detail.
