The Enneagram is designed as a system that can enable us to have more insight into who we are and who others are. It helps us to discern and filter more clearly what are core psychological issues, interpersonal strengths and weaknesses, and ability to see the world from others perspectives are. This is not something based off of a birthdate, or some gurus idea of who we are, but a system that shows us our core issues and effective ways of dealing with them. It is meant to take us on a journey to the depths of our souls and allow us to safely explore it. EnneaApp incorporates practically none of that.

This used to be an okay test but with the latest update, they changed it so that you now have to pay to take their test. No thanks. I’m changing my formerly positive review to a one star and, after having EnneaApp on my phone literally for years, I’m deleting it. The info on the update also suggested they were now using EnneaApp as a way to persuade you to buy typing consultations. Sleazy.

EDIT: Please note the developer’s response to me is untrue. I was unable to take the test after their update. The test button had a lock on it, and I was prodded to buy full access. I tried accessing the test page elsewhere in EnneaApp , and the button to take the test was grayed out. My only option was to view past test results. I tried multiple times in multiple ways before writing my review just in case it was a user error. It wasn’t. The new update requires you to purchase the full version to take the test.

Love EnneaApp as a quick, helpful reference for enneagram types, traits, and various dynamics between types. Downloaded the most recent update last night and loved the interface improvements (was using it on WiFi on an iPhone X), however now whenever I try to open it it crashes immediately and is unusable (at least on cellular data, not WiFi). I paid for the subscription and was excited to show my friends the new features, very disappointing that this great update comes with a fatal flaw of crashing upon opening! Please fix ASAP!

I’ve been studying the enneagram for the last 12 years and trained at the institute. I appreciate EnneaApp , but has several pain points. The test is too predictable and divided by type, and it is also quite focused on negative traits leaving little room for those more self-actualized types. Along this similar line, I found it to be very harsh on type 8, painting them as bullies and out of control which is only describes unhealthy 8s.

EnneaApp has all the information on the enneagram you need, and is easily navigated. It has lead to a much deeper understanding of myself as a six and I love being able to delve in and read about all the different types, as well as share it with my friends and family. HOWEVER. You should know that EnneaApp isn’t very pretty. I think it’s the best one out there on the enneagram but like be warned that it may not look like it.

EnneaApp is very accurate but if you do not have the unlimited then it is very restrictive on information. I would like more of an explanation and a tutorial on EnneaApp and of the meaning of the numbers. I was surprised when I looked at my results and they were actually true about me. I would recommend this for a pass time or something to do with your family and friends.

I find EnneaApp to be very useful to remind myself of facts about different types and to help explain the Enneagram to others.
I'm giving four stars because unfortunately in this recent update, some information has been removed, including the section about the integration/disintegration for each type, which is often one of the areas I need reminders for.

I don't care for the type descriptions. I've read better elsewhere. However, EnneaApp does an outstanding job of including just about every aspect of each type. It's comprehensive, if not deep.

I've taken four other Enneagram tests (free and paid), but only this test nailed it perfectly.

I only discovered the enneagram within the last two weeks, but the experience has been transformational, in large part because of EnneaApp. It has enough detail for a beginner to manipulate the enneagram and test knowledge to grow more familiar with the enneagram after paying the $1.99, which is reasonable for an app with such depth. Daily now when trying to understand myself or a friend in need, I flip open EnneaApp to investigate likely sources of the problem. The stress/heart vectors for each type then provide a quick reminder of the underlying symptoms of discontent follows by the direction of growth. I especially love the growth tab because then it even provides you a template of gentle nudges needed to help yourself or your friend reach their highest virtue and higher mind. Download and pay for EnneaApp and help yourself and those you love to achieve more fulfilled lives!

EnneaApp is so helpful to understand myself and areas for growth. Helps with understanding others too if you know their type. Increases patience in dealing with others when you view them through this info.

Combined with “Typology” podcast and “A Road Back to You” book/ podcast, makes a well rounded compilation of how to understand ourselves as our distinctiveness and tendencies. Insightful and helpful at your finger tips. Great work on EnneaApp . I paid for full version. Unless you do that don’t review.

EnneaApp makes a complex subject accessible right away— I can find a description of each type, possible wings, where they go in strength and chaos and even subtypes. It’s helpful to have at your fingertips without losing rich detail.

I love EnneaApp!
I’ve used different Enneagram Apps but I always come back to this one. The information is clearly organized and easy to understand without undermining the complexity of the subject. I first downloaded it when I was beginning to learn about the Enneagram and now that I’ve been studying it for a while I still find myself using it for reference. Whenever I introduce someone else to the Enneagram I mention EnneaApp. They can do the test to find out their type and if that’s not enough they can read about each type, their wing and even their subtype to find out for themselves. The explanation of other related terms like Hornevian type or what the Harmonic Pattern is are very helpful when you start learning about what the Enneagram is and they show just how complex this system is.
I am truly happy I found EnneaApp!

The depth of insight and quality of this information is amazing - in the short time of months that I have dug into the richness of this application they have actually enhanced and expanded something that was already excellent - these folks and this application are a must for anyone dealing w the Enneagram

EnneaApp was recommended in an introductory Enneagram book (TheModern Enneagram) thatI just read. It helped both me & my husband ail down our types & provided lots of helpful information on understanding & applying our findings. I highly recommend upgrading to the full version. Well worth it!

After purchasing the full version I can't the content to load. I have contacted app admin and awaiting response. I am hopeful but I can't give any more than 1 star for an app I can't use after purchase. I will change my rating if situation is fixed.

At first I thought looks a bit “cheap” when u first open EnneaApp ?!? Many questions later I was satisfied well beyond my previous personal expectations regarding apps of this kind! The accuracy was fantastic and much appreciated! Thank you for the option to share my results with my peers on fb also allowing the use of the apps full version! I’m a “6” btw

I have taken many enneagram tests and this is by far the most accurate, i was honestly shocked when i started reading my top most likely types; they all highlight me perfectly. even my heart paths connected accurately.

Developers,
anyway, just bought EnneaApp, and there is 1 aspect design wise the has me disappointed, i work on an iPad Pro in landscape orientation always, so EnneaApp really needs to have landscape mode supported.

EnneaApp is just amazing. Truly. Aside from the unappealing aesthetic and inability to print, the quiz and amount of information it provides is astonishing!! It gives you your most likely 3 types, and from there, you’re off and running to learn more and more about yourself! PLUS, when I contacted the developers to ask them how long the free “trial” lasts on an iPhone, they said- Forever! As long as I do not uninstall it on this phone, I will have full/free access to all of the information, and so can you!!!
So get to downloading!!

This Enneagram tool is a condensed and super helpful resource. A quick look with practical applications to all the types of the Enneagram. I would highly recommend this to others, especially this like me who are just beginning to understand and utilize the enneagram.

As I’m studying the enneagram, I keep referring back to EnneaApp and finding deeper and more helpful information. It is a great companion tool to other resources as I can look at pieces of each type without having to wade through a whole chapter of a book to find what I’m looking for. Thank you for this resource!
