As a huge fan of soul night, I enjoyed playing this game a lot. However, soon as I realized how much I need to spend for playable characters, and potentially how many characters to be added, I immediately deleted ShadowoftheDepth
I like the game so far, and feels great when playing with controller. Only criticism would be that the hud does not disappear when using controller and the virtual joystick is particularly distracting. I also wish they had a confirmation screen when re-rolling weapons, I accidentally re-rolled my main weapon.
What can i say. It’s an all around fairly well functioning game per usual from this studio, although with a few drawbacks that greatly detract from the gameplay. My two biggest gripes are definitely the clunky UI that makes using skills/blocking/dashing without a controller somewhat of a nightmare with how hard it can be to juggle several buttons, hoping that you pressed hard enough or in the right spot to activate them. This is a small concern compared to the real
problem. ChillyRoom, stop locking playable characters/classes behind paywalls that require “real” or “paid” currency. Please don’t milk this game like you did Soul Knight, leaving it a soulless money pit of a husk like it is now. Game has potential if they get their head out of their wallets.
Really fun game…reminds me of a mixture of pocket dungeons’ topdown hack n’ slash real time combat dungeon crawling gameplay with Otherworld legends gorgeous art style…with an actual story including cutscenes!
But…no offline play capabilities??? Lame! Can’t play on my iPad on the go…what a drag, this game could be INCREDIBLE…if I could play offline on the go. Oh well, awesome game otherwise…maybe there’ll be an offline play update…
Enjoying the game so far. Only been able to play one character. However, it keeps freezing mid game. It saves most of my progress but anything on the current stage I was on when the game froze. Very frustrating. I hope it’s fixed soon. Looking forward to that and hopefully additional content in the future.
Im addicted to this game no doubt about that. I live how you can close and come back to the exact spot to keep going. But i cannot see my health/mana numbers, how many coins and diamonds, what stage i am in, the percentage of the map explored. It was good till then i cant see the stats on any of the weapons or percentages of the skills. Overall the game is fantastic on my 16 pro max no lag at all. Would be cool to have a tank character id glady buy it

And if only you could add the ability of playing the game offline

Because I’m getting a lot of frame drops on my iPhone 12 Pro Max for 1-3 minutes and overheats a little bit
Latest update has made all the tool tips and character screen show no numbers. Pretty much unplayable since I can’t see what my stats are, HP, gold, etc.
Especially on Phyllis the arrow lady she has all these lines that come out of here and make it hard to use her
I'm really enjoying it so far! With steady updates and quality-of-life features, the Developers definitely have something great on their hands.

This game is excellent but there is not a lot of content yet (this is less than a week after release) but please support this game so we get more content!
Such a fantastic game to play with controller! It feels really great, but I think it would be nice if the hud of the controls on screen to disappear when it detects that a controller is connected.
