Do not download Vizo. I downloaded, using because I had screen time and my iPad doesn’t let me download the official app. So I got this. I lost my remote and went to use Vizo as a “last resort” and instead of working, when I press the arrow buttons or the ok button or any button at all, a pop up comes on my screen talking about being able to control my tv without any limit if I pay one of the 3 things on a tab. Vizo is supposed to be free and usable for anybody with or without screen time and lost their remotes, the fact that you need to pay to use Vizo defeats the purpose of anyone using this at all.

Pay to use.. way to much for pay to use even if I was willing pay.. it’s a rip off down download. Looks like most of these reviews are fake to get its ratings up. Dont waste your time.

Seriously expect you to pay a monthly fee to use a remote.
You get like 3-4 inputs on the remote before it just stops working and starts with nonstop pop up ads to purchase a subscription…to use a remote…

You are forced to pick a subscription for this remote (or pay once for your “lifetime”). This is an app for a tv remote.

I’m starting to think that the actual Vizio remotes are manufactured poorly to entice consumers into purchasing Vizo.

Well, Vizio, you found your most stubborn customer. I will find my remote wherever it is and deal with the broken buttons. I refuse to play your game!

Set up worked for a few minutes, channels wouldn’t work had to unplug my tv twice. Wouldn’t let tv remote work. SO GLAD I only had to pay the $3+ ugh instead of yearly! The reason I did this, I hate the remote that came with my TV. The volume and mute buttons are on the side and it really is horrible!

Pls make it free I lost my remote control over and over again but I found this I was super when I was able to use my tv again but then it told me to buy weekly monthly or unlimited not to be rude but I think you guys are greedy you guys already make lots of money so I beg pls make it free because I can't find my remote.

I purchased Vizo about a week ago , no longer works , I deleted Vizo and reinstalled it , selected restore purchase and all I get is a message saying cannot restore purchase at this time , I tried multiple times throughout the entire day , I sent emails and yet received anything in return.
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND CHOOSE A DIFFERENT APP

Vizo has popups to pay for like anything you press. I was having issues with the official Vizio app not connecting to my older TV that you could only access settings from Vizo , not even with a Universal Remote. Vizo connects fine and appears like it all works and the setting button pops up a thing to pay, so I paid the cheapest option for the pop up to go away and it still doesn’t work.

It's scummy for your official app to not even let a user configure the brightness of the TV you sold them without paying a subscription.

There are numerous free apps that do the same. Don't give them a cent for fleecing their customers.

Well, I paid my money. It would not connect to my TV ask for a IP address from the TV still would not connect so this was a waste of money and I’m gonna try to get my money back from Apple. Apple needs to look at Vizo and take it down.

Vizo only grants a mere second of control before taking it away in exchange for a greedy subscription notice. You won’t get anywhere with Vizo unless you fork some cash over to the insatiable money hungry pigs that are the developers of Vizo.

Don’t waste your time getting it. Stuff like this is supposed to be free. Instead they want you to pay a SUBSCRIPTION to USE it. Shouldn’t have to subscribe to use a remote. Others are sometimes free with ads. This one you get like 3 taps free then have to pay.

I got Vizo because I keep losing my remote and it work amazing but I don’t like how you have to pay to use it and how you can’t turn on your tv with it but on the plus side it’s pretty cheap

Connecting to your tv can be difficult sometimes, it just keeps loading.

You don’t have to worry about being in line of sight with the tv/cable remote

Vizo is very helpful since I lost my physical remote

It’s the best because it does your tv and if you loose you remote just use Vizo

Worth the cost
In a pinch and found Vizo . Thank you. Having access to on my mobile device ensures me I’ll never lose the remote again.
