LiDar sensor needed

I was excited to use app nevertheless my iPhone can only scan documents. A certain sensor is needed for the 3D objects and Rooms.
What or how do I get this sensor that is needed? Or is it possible to get the sensor added to iPhone?

3D Scan your room and objects, plus solid 2D scans

I honestly had no idea my iPhone was capable of leveraging the same technology that enables Face ID, to generate 3-D scans. In less than a minute after installing, I produced a very accurate scan of my room. Then ScanSphere did an excellent job making a 3-D representation of a completed Lego model of mine. 2D PDF scanning is not new, but it is very cleanly executed here and I’m going to lean on that in the future.

Really impressive piece of software!
