Updated review: there are pre-set meal items with quantities (Vivid was just malfunctioning for the first 24-hrs); however, the meal plan recommendations still don’t have personalized amounts specific to me. Also, the meal plans are not carnivore. There are even vegan recommendations!!! Calling itself a carnivore app is simply a marketing scheme. A simple online (free) search for carnivore meal plans would be more on target than what Vivid provides.
Original review: Disappointed. I was expecting meal plans with specific quantities based on my personal goals, instead there are just generic meal plans that I could get from a simple (free) internet search. There’s a section for meal plans that has no options nor capability to add meals directly so it’s useless. I will be requesting a refund as soon as I meet the refund 14-day-use-requirement. I wouldn’t mind paying for Vivid if it 1) took my personalized goals and used them to provide specialized recommendations, 2) provided food recommendations with quantities specific for my goals, & 3) had pre-set meal plans with quantities specific to my goals.

I know this will not be posted because this is the worst app ever! It even started out bad, which immediately was a red flag. I just want a trial for $4.99. As I was entering my information, an offer of $9.99/mo., came up! So, I upgraded! I was charged both and only received a week. I immediately reached out and reported the situation for a refund of $9.99 if I only received a week. Then added to cancel my subscription immediately. Two days later, no response, refund or correction. Now, Vivid is horrible and completely lacking of useful information. Such as I tried to log Quest Protein powder and instead of 1 scoop, everything is ounces. How can everything be in ounces? I don’t see categories of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner so I can reflect back on what I already posted. All is visible is the calories, carbs, protein & fiber! Horrible app, just Horrible!

The measurements to track food are only in ounces. They need a scanning option, too because not all bacon is created equally. Meal plans are stupid and nothing inspiring. Just use google it’s better than Vivid.

The recipes are for keto if that. You can’t see your past entries when tracking food. I would not spend my money on this crappy app. It takes them a day to respond to questions that you ask.

I don’t usually leave review’s unless something is really impactful. Unfortunately Vivid just isn’t what I expected. There aren’t very many features and the ones that are there rarely worked. For $70 a year the value isn’t there.

Do not bother! Purchased and it does not work, won’t give refund within 15 min of purchase, so mad! Scam alert! Company keeps taking 6.99 weekly from my account when I dont use this and have canceled it. I sent a few emails and contacted Apple

It’s really hard to navigate through Vivid . Not really intuitive. I sent a message to developers early yesterday and it’s still marked as “not seen”. Not sure if anyone is managing Vivid.

I don’t know how to go back and enter my meals from previous day or if it’s even possible.

I don’t know how to see the analytics that they showed related to my weight loss prediction prior to me purchasing Vivid .

I don’t know how to tell Vivid , I skipped breakfast.

Vivid seems “undercooked” and needs a lot more time and attention.

I contacted the support team to get help to reset my password. There was a delayed response. Never able to fully use Vivid . Paid for premium membership for 3 months. $99. Never able to get past the opening page on Vivid . Customer service was not helpful.

I didn’t feel Vivid was helpful to me. I also noticed I’m getting a $50 fee from an app not sure if it’s Vivid or not but I have no other subscription that cost $50. This is the only random app on my device. I wouldn’t recommend it I didn’t find it helpful at all during my journey also it was difficult to use

I was excited to get this, with a meal plan and something tailored but it’s anything but. You get a week meal plan that’s generic. There is no where to see your meals when you log them, the food options you input are limited. I messaged someone with a question and still haven’t had a response in 72 hours. If you want an app to help get my fitness pal, above and beyond this awful app.

Very disappointed in their false advertising of Vivid. They have charged me twice even AFTER I cancelled. I chose not to go through with Vivid the same day I downloaded it and they still are taking money out of my account. Completely ripping me off. I have reached out to them with my complaint being ignored. There is no way to look into your “profile” to change or even see what they are charging you. This is a SCAM. Do not bother

It doesn’t provide a breakdown on what how calories a person. can take in not break the fast. App. give “suggestions” for menu breakfast, lunch, dinner menu, you have to figure out how to fix it. Their is No breakdown of total calories, total protein with recipes. Don’t waste your money, app is worthless.
When Purchasing Vivid it only offered 3 month, when I went to cancel, there was more choices to choose from. Vivid. wasn’t even close to what I expected! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Vivid has promise but it’s not fully developed. As of today you can’t actually log your meals. The meal plans are generic and you have to figure out your macros and how much to eat on your own. There are some good articles but it seems as though they just searched the web for carnivore info and uploaded it. There’s even non-carnivore food recommendations in the meals.
Trying to get a refund but after reading other reviews, I doubt it will happen. Apple needs to be more selective with the apps they allow on their platform.

Vivid is a scam, do not download and purchase a subscription! I wish I read the reviews, that is my fault, I was too excited about finding an app I thought would help me meet my goals. You are asked a ton of questions after you download Vivid and are tricked into thinking it’s formulating this amazing meal plan and helpful ways to do the diet that’s especially catered to your needs. Only after you purchase a subscription can you get into the actual app that has NOTHING helpful at all. Literally nothing, it’s laughable. The suggested meal plans has non-carnivore diet options on it, the food log as 2 measurement units to choose from and very basic foods to choose from. There are a couple articles that i could’ve just googled and that’s about it. Very disappointing.

I was charged only to get to a point where I couldn’t see the plan without paying another amount. Will be reporting for a dispute! Cant contact anyone for refund!

Only units of measurement are ounces or grams, but worst of all you can’t see what you’ve already tracked for the day or what you tracked in the past, and when you go to track food it’s just blank it doesn’t preload any previously tracked foods to make it easier to find. Would be fine that it’s so primitive if it didn’t cost so much money. I wish I could get a refund honestly as I’m likely going to use a better app.

I have some allergies to specific meats and I sent in a message with help and thoughts on good replacements - I received very thorough and insightful feedback and support - QUICKLY.

I was pleasantly surprised my questions were answered by a real person and not by a “most often asked “ drop down. It makes me use and trust Vivid more.

This really is a game changer. It simplifies everything! Not over whelming at all. Extremely Motivating.

Love this diet, no hunger, no cravings and I’m sleeping like a baby. 4days on the diet and I lost 3.5 pounds already. I’m really surprised 😮😃
