SmartRemote is entirely misleading in both the way it was advertised on YouTube as a way to project your screen anywhere on your wall and what its actual purpose is being a universal TV remote. Neither of these work, its a phony app. This needs to be banned from SmartRemote store. 🤦♂️
A projecter ad to a remote app doesn't make sense and it don't work the first time I opened it it showed my location without permission from me. Remove and ban this from SmartRemote store apple for humanities sake if I could give it a 0 I would.
The ads show SmartRemote working as a video projector which of course, is complete nonsense. After the ad finished playing I saw it was a remote for smart tvs and that looked useful. I installed it and it won’t recognize either my LG or my Sony. Fortunately it was free so all I lost was some time. If it does work for you, prepare to spend a lot of time looking at ads. Better yet, don’t waste your time.
