Not reliable for recording

The website and app are both incredibly buggy and really hard to navigate. I liked the features though, so I bought access to the full premium features through Turbolearn , but when I tried to log into the website, it wouldn’t let me login using the credentials I’d entered into Turbolearn . As it stands, I can only log into my account on Turbolearn , but most of the actual usable features are only available on the website. I tried to reset the password, but every time I tried I got an error message or the website would glitch out. I tried to make a new account, but the website said that my email was already in use, but still wouldn’t let me login into my account or reset my password. I reached out to support to get help logging into my account on the website, but no one ever got back to me, even though I’ve messaged them twice. It’s so poorly put together, that at this point, I’m thinking it might just be a scam.

Notes aren’t accurate whatsoever

I was paying $15 a month for no reason. They don’t even give me all the information, especially when the lecture is too long. Sometimes, it doesn’t work properly, and when I ask a question that’s not in the system, it just says 'I don’t know.' I’ve had a bad experience overall. Once, my recording was lost because it took too long.
I’ve used better apps, and in fact, free chat GPT services have provided more value.

I really wanted to like Turbolearn. I have to attend many meetings and some of them pretty long. Thought it very practical. First note uploaded just fine, after that my next note will not upload, gets stuck on 91% and does nothing. My last attempted note, came out incomplete, only uploaded 10 minutes worth of my long meeting. So disappointed, as I tried reaching out for help and I do not even get a response. I paid for the full year subscription and everything, the least they could do is respond to me. 😡😠😤

Turbolearn does have a lot of potential, but iv tried using it and these are my problems:
First of all Turbolearn doesn't allow me to hear the recording i recored which is annoying and makes me want to go back to voice messages.
Even so, it does allow me to read what Im hearing but it might hear wrong and not have accurate readings,
Second of all whenever Id ask the chat a question the only answer it would give me is “I don’t know” Iv asked it about 3 times until it told me Iv reached my limit texting for free and I had to pay or something like that.
But I wont lie Turbolearn does take notes for you, but you’d still want to listen to your own voice messages and have a working chat, if it doesn't work then might as-well remove it.
I don't know if there are any other problems but these are the ones iv faced for now.

The only problem I have with this is the quizzes option in which when I try to do active recall it gives me the wrong answers as correct, if that makes sense. It’s really good when it comes to the notes and are very accurate to what my teacher says but he careful with the quizzes option, idk if I may be the only one or not but I wish that part of Turbolearn was fixed.

I wish that you could do more as in, re-choose your preference when you fist get Turbolearn , cause if you say chemistry, so far it seems like that’s gonna be your forever choice.

I think Turbolearn is great. Marvelous. However, once you create a recording, and generate notes, you can’t delete the generated notes. If you mess up or something you don’t need is recorded, you can’t delete it. It just gets confusing with the actual notes you really need. It nice tho. Also I wish you could have a feature where if you want notes to be shorter and just overall make the notes and everything more of the important content and scrap out the non important stuff that’d be great. But if anything, I’d really just be asking for the deleting part, so that junk notes aren’t mixed with the actual important notes.

Great app for my classes and homework. Would recommend!

Turbolearn is pretty good if your specifically reading information or the teachers lecturing but in any other environment where not everything said is specifically related to the topic, it won’t generate notes. And another thing, I was reading my textbook aloud and hoping it would generate good notes for me and I got a phone call in the middle of it (I did not even pick up) and when the person stopped calling I was back into this app it had reset everything and it was I had never started recording. I was literally reading aloud for half an hour and I had to do it all over again.

I tested Turbolearn by recording me solving for a limit with a complex conjugate. The AI was able to pick up on my dialogue, however, when put into notes, the math work didn't fully generate correctly. For example, I'm solving lim x->0 (root(2)-root(2/x))/x. The AI generates the problem as: Example: Finding the Limit of $$\frac{\sqrt{2} - \sqrt{2 - x}}{x}$$ as x approaches 0.

If the developers can fix this issue to where the problem is fully written out, it would be perfect.

My teacher is very unorganized with her lectures so this does a great job of organizing them for me. I just wish that I knew how many free hours and notes I get.

this app AI is the greatest note taking app out there. I have tried Coconote, Transcribe, and Otter; none of those apps come close to offering the usability, performance, and accuracy that this app has. I’ll be honest, at first, I was skeptical about the idea of this product. However, after using it for several quarters at Northwestern, it had revolutionized how much I can retain after a lecture as the majority of my time is spent absorbing the professor’s lectures, rather than frantically scribbling down something that half the time I cannot understand. I have used this on a variety of subjects from political science, statistics, engineering, and economics. Would rate 6/5 stars if I could and highly recommend anyone in any stage of school to get this app if they are interested in excelling with less effort!! Big thank you to my glorious kings, handsome young men that have founded Turbolearn.

I usually never write review but Turbolearn is amazing. It makes such cute notes and it’s so helpful, you can make folders for the notes and for each class and record lessons, it picks up on stuff u may have missed in class

I am a straight D student who can’t focus on any of the lectures and I am unable to watch a single video until the end except for short tiktoks. But now, thanks to this app, I get amazing notes and can absorb knowledge like a sponge although my dopamine receptors might even be more fried now. But hey, I’m learning like a pro with this app!

If you have trouble multi-tasking, like taking notes in class and actually understanding what the professor is saying, Turbolearn genuinely helps so much. One of my professors doesn’t care at all whether we finish taking notes before she switches slides and this apps recording feature make it so much easier to catch up. It really helps you do better in class.

I am throughly impressed by Turbolearn. I downloaded it because my Communication teacher talks way too fast in our lectures and he does not put up any notes on the projector nor does he follow some document that we could also follow. We just have to write as he talks, so I decided to use this. I was very skeptical because my teacher gets sidetracked and students like to discuss a variety of things in class. However this ai understood what was side conversation and what was important for the topic. It took some of the most organized notes I have ever seen!! Highly recommend Turbolearn.
