Found out about this recently and think it’s a cool idea, but it doesn’t work. I have tried probably 20+ times to get past the phone verification screen. A couple of times I made it past, and I’d run into trouble trying to get a profile picture. I’d select, and select, and select, yet nothing would ever pop up. Just constantly stuck on a blank page. Time and time again I tried to create an account, using all of the different sign up methods and nothing is working. Think this is a neat idea, but clearly some bug issues that need resolving, as they completely hinder my ability to even get started in SideShift.

With other jobs apps I find that many of the companies don’t even see your application. Based on the overall premise of SideShift and the other reviews I was hoping it would be different since it’s more local. However, I’m finding the same result here where none of the companies are even viewing the applications. I think the idea of SideShift is really interesting and has potential, but as of now it’s not providing really any benefit.

If you’re looking for an easy way to make extra cash without committing to a full-time job, this app is worth checking out. SideShift connects you with flexible gigs and is a great option if you want to make money on your own schedule. I applied to hundreds of jobs on indeed and LinkedIn with nothing but computer generated responses. I enrolled on side shift and after applying to some local bars/restaurants, I had owners and representatives directly contacting me to schedule interviews. This was so much easier than any other site I’ve used. After talking to my boss at my current job, he let me know he doesn’t even get the indeed applications, making my this app application stand out. Thank you this app!
