I am on level 25 of this game. When I first started playing, I enjoyed it very much however, the further you get along, it takes too many energy. I mean, I am spending 1000 energy to get one Mosiac or sea shell. It’s insane. I also find it gives you plenty of those things UNTIL you really need it. For example, if you need a beach ball, it’s gonna give you tons of seashells but if you need a seashell, it’s gonna give you tons of other things smh. I wanted to write this review before deleted MergeAdventure because that’s where I’m at at this point.
Update. .. I finally deleted MergeAdventure at level 32 when it took 4,500 energy to get the level 13 jewelry. This game is a rip off!!!!

This could be a great game. Very clever with two of my favorite game elements. Beautiful graphic and adventure, but…

I would like to enjoy the graphics and the adventure a lot longer than seconds of play. Everything runs out and unless I pay, there is no other ways to really earn enough energy to do anything. Even the boxes started “recharging” before it release enough items to fill the board! Every other game I played, these boxes will release enough items to fill the board three or four times before recharging. I play three other merging games while waiting for the energy to refill and this game is one the worst, which is very disappointing, especially when this is could potentially be the most fun and pleasant.

I originally enjoyed this game, it’s fun and addictive, but Ima so frustrated right now, every time I win an event it takes me back to uncles house. Fine there are decorations to place when you win,but the fun ends there. Once I am there my progress is set backwards and am forced to redo areas I have done before. I am on level 27 and am back at the fair, for the third time. I was at least 4 Islands past that. I’ve also had the game reset when working on a side game as well. Grrrr!!!!!!!!

I have invested a significant amount of money into this game, yet I encounter errors almost every other day, which severely disrupts my gaming experience. Like many others have mentioned in their reviews, acquiring energy is quite challenging, and even when I manage to refill it, I am unable to enter the game due to these errors. When I reach out to them via Instagram to report the issues, I only receive a response days later, often stating that everything has already been resolved. Even though there are numerous events taking place, I can't participate due to the inability to access the game, and when I express my frustration about not being able to improve my ranking, I just get a curt reply saying that the errors have been fixed. Such errors occur with every event, leaving me utterly exasperated as to how I am supposed to play this game.

I play the Merge Hotel game and it’s way better than this one. This one takes a lot to win the mini games or complete orders. Then you don’t win that much. It’s also very hard to get cameras, bells, or scissors. And I’ve never been able to get items out of the watering can like the tulips and the thread. Not once have I ever been able to get them except from prize boxes. I waste all my energy trying. This game also charges a lot more money for crystals and energy. I spend money on the other game but will not on this one because it’s a lot in comparison. I don’t understand it because the same people make both games. So you would think they would be comparable. As a result of it being so hard to get your orders, you cannot go very far in the adventure part. It’s just not satisfying the me. I’m pretty much over this game.

Second Update: I have no issues playing any games on my device so a RAM issue isn’t the issue with MergeAdventure. I only play one game at a time as well.

Update: issues with game crashing still have not been fixed. None of the advise from developer works. I play other games from developer with out problems! This game is very annoying! Game crashes way too much! I have tired to delete game, reinstall, and I have restarted my device per developers advise. None of that has made a difference. Game still crashes. Thinking it’s time to just delete game and find a new one to play. I have emailed developer and game still isn’t working!

You seem to have a lot of issues and bugs you need to work out . Do you test MergeAdventure before you release it to public? Right now you can’t even play the game because it’s stuck on “looking at the new adventure secondary game”. When you click it of it to go back to map it doesn’t work can’t play the map and can’t play the main game.. stupid.

The last update says that bugs were fixed a week ago, but it keeps glitching after merges and sends you back to where you started over and over. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling and that might fix for a little while, but then it glitches again. Frustrating. Might be time to permanently delete.

The issues it has is you run out of energy fast and the cost to buy anything is to high. I can only give you 2 stars cause you can’t play long because to just clear a path cost a lot of energy. With the cost of living is so high for those of us that don’t live with mommy and daddy. We have to pay bills and for most have to pay rent. And for us that own our home still have it hard to get by. And some of us help our adult kids so they can care for our grandchildren. No game comes before our needs and those we.. i am thankful there are games we can play without having to spend money we depend on. Sadly there are people that don’t care they have even raised the prices on diamonds, health and etc.

I play a lot of GreenPixel games. They are a lot of fun and Merge Hotel is my absolute favorite and the reason I downloaded this one. HOWEVER, the packs get progressively more expensive and affordable options completely disappear. I got one $4.99 pack for this game when I first started it and now the cheapest pack is $20 which is wild. The same happened to Merge Hotel - the same pack went up in price. It’s a bummer because the game is so much fun. That said, it’s easier to play Merge Hotel without needing packs than this game is. I would love for this developer to go back to providing affordable packs for the game, or make it easier to get energy doing in-game activities.

I can exhaust my DAILY regeneration of energy and power in less then 5 minutes. Yes…you COULD buy more. Purchase is pushed at you throughout the day, but I refuse to do so when I know that I will have to keep doing so to stop WAITING to play.
It’s a cute game, and I enjoy the story, even if it’s got way to much narrative. I played about 4 months, and have reached the limit of my daily HURRY UP AND WAIT.
I will be deleting and searching for a better game with less time lag for regeneration.
Thanks for a great game when I was WILLING to wait.

I am enjoying this game, but as others have said, the balance between gameplay and earning energy or gems does have a serious effect on the overall experience. I understand that they have to earn money to put into more games, but the constant demands to pay more to progress in the game is off-putting. I will probably delete it, but will be sad to do so.

You go through the energy way too fast and it doesn’t regenerate quickly enough. You don’t earn enough energy or gems while merging, either. The map ends up being mostly a waste of time because it doesn’t hold your progress each time you find the little treasures, so you end up using the little energy you have to break the branches and bushes you already broke to get the treasures you already found. This game has a good concept, but it needs a lot of improvement to be a good game. I enjoy the other merge games by this creator and I like the twist on this one, but give us more energy or more ways to earn it. I will never spend a dime on a game app, so you’ll never get me to pay for the energy, but I will lose interest in the game if it doesn’t improve soon.

This game has so much potential, but the developers definitely haven’t reached it yet. I have been stuck at Uncle’s house for almost two weeks and still no update. I don’t care one lick about that leaderboard - where the developers say to focus your attention at this stage. I play multiple times a day and use gems to buy more energy a couple of times each day, but I still hardly rank in the top ten so the only way to make it higher on that leaderboard is to pay real money. Not gonna do it. I play the Merge Hotel game, too, and it never seems to problems so I don’t understand all the issues with this game. I actually really like that they’ve added the island adventure part to the Hotel game so at least I still get to play that feature somewhere. I’m getting really bored with just merging in this game though, so if they don’t update with more islands soon, I may be done with it.

So far - I’m addicted. I am not sure yet if money is necessary or how costly to complete the events in time. I have played Merge Hotel for a Long Time and still do. (My ONLY complaint - if more so from Merge Hotel - the graphics for the card collecting albums have changed. Still cute, the esthetic of the new images, to me, are not the same fun cute esthetic of the game. I thought the previous Album Graphics were perfect & Also, I was rather upset that when the graphics changed I lost all previous collected cards and the time, energy and money put into it to that point was just lost. No compensation for previous effort and Now Albums are on a time restraint to complete.

It’s a fun game and I’ve already spent some money to keep the fun going unfortunately it’s riddled with glitches and errors. It’s literally giving errors every 2 minutes and force restarting the game. Their sister game, the hotel one is great and doesn’t have all these problems. Whatever you do don’t spend money on this game until they can get it right!

I really enjoyed MergeAdventure when it first came out. Then, everything got switched to playing the same island over and over every few days for these “trophies”. Thankfully, the developers listened to us players and changed it back to the way it was. Def has earned 5 stars! Love love love this game!

I love this game. I play a lot of merge games but this one is different. It is more like the mini games in the other games that only last a few days or weeks. This game feels more like a vacation story to me rather than something that is distressed.

So far best adventure game Ive played. No adds yes you run out of energy but it very quickly refills. The graphics are very good , the colors are bright & clear.

I love to play this game before bed.
It’s so satisfying to play most merging games but this one has the added fun of exploring!
I do however wish it didn’t cost so much for energy, diamonds and such. I’d literally play this game for hours if it was possible to just play and play with out spending $3+ to get energy and diamonds.
Again great fun just can be a short play if you aren’t willing to buy energy!
