I have a new iPad mini 2, encountered the sound issue, and was able to resolve by turning the iPad ringer volume on. Seems like PeppaPig uses the ringer/alerts sound settings, rather than the normal audio sound settings. On my iPad, the way to unmute is to use your finger to flip the switch on the side of the iPad next to the audio controls from mute (red dot showing) to unmute (no red dot showing).

There wasn't sound at first. You have to switch on the ringer on the iPhone and the equivalent on the iPad to get the sound to work. It's got lots of games to keep a 2 year old happy. We also play with it using the Mandarin language option and my kid's picked up some new words.

When I first purchased PeppaPig it worked well and had sound but after a while there is no more sound! Very disappointing and frustrating for a $2.99 app! Please fix this problem with an update or issue a refund!

I'm not sure what all the other issues are about. You definitely need sound to play the game but my sound works fine. And there's English too, you just have to pick the right flag... My 3 1/2 year old LOVES it! More please.
