Dig Out! Mine Adventure Reviews

A new update came out today in the game removing the keys to open the chests, y’all gave us credit for the keys that we had and not the chests. I had over 40 normal chests and at least 2 Epic chests that I’ve been trying to open, since removing the keys I just lost out on A LOT of iron, character tokens, and lots of other things. I am very upset that you guys cheated us out of the credit of those chests. It took lots of hours of game play to achieve those chests and just like that you removed them from my inventory. If I don’t get credit for those chests, I will delete this game. I have shared this game with a number of friends including my Fiancé and they are all upset with this update as well. If this matter is not fixed or dealt with, we will all stop playing this game. It frustrates me because this was my favorite game but every time you do a new update I get cheated in a different way all the time. SoMerging needs to be done about this. Now anytime I try to watch an ad to open the video boxes the game freezes and the only way to fix it you have to leave the game, resulting in the loss of a life, many of the ads do this at the beginning at the game resulting in the loss of an additional life lost. This game seems to have more cheats and problems then the game is even worth playing. This game is no longer worth my time or effort if it’s always going to result in unhappy players!

I spent a metric BUTTLOAD of time playing this game back when it was in Ye Olden Days—you only had 3 lives, you regained one every 30 minutes, and your only objective was to find gems. You didn’t have to go to a goblin to cash in on your gems; if you died, they were still yours. Everything was perfect like that—I enjoyed the simplicity, so I worked my way up to level 176. I completed the tasks for rebuilding the village to the max and just kept the extra stars I had in hopes that one day there’d be more tasks to spend them on. My pickaxe had nearly THREE HUNDRED hits. I even unlocked ALL of the little characters. I was having a blast—and then I took a break to spend time with my family after my brother went off to college and we had a series of hiccups in the family. Things died down and so, I finally came back...only to find all of my self-described accomplishments blown to BITS. Stars lost! Pickaxe at 30 hits! No characters! I have to talk to a goblin every two minutes or I lose everything! And all I got in compensation was a bunch of gold coins that I don’t even know the purpose of. I understand the revamp and I’m happy YOU like it, but I’m just here to tell you that at LEAST one person absolutely hates it. I played DigOutMineAdventure for so long and all I got out of it was the developers spitting in my mouth. My disappointment is immeasurable.

I play everyday and have since the very beginning. Love the game! So many updates lately don’t love them all. Most recent update you took away the option for us to use the boosters during the game whenever needed. Now before you play you have to decide to use the boosters which is just irritating. If you die before you get the chance to use the booster oh well you’re down 1-2 boosters now. Changing the ice bomb into a shield, not impressive. One hit it’s gone until you check into the goblin 3 times, really?! The ice bomb honestly was way more helpful. Ice bombs saved you from multiple the monsters, ghosts, TNT and your pickaxe count; best of all I got to use whenever and however many times I wanted. It’s seem like you added a ton more ghost and less pickaxe life to find. The monsters are little faster now. The game keeps freezing up while I am playing I can’t move but the monsters/ghost can. So bummed and irritated I may find another game to play. There are so many other ways the game can be improved that would engage players.

The version before the update was actually more fun when it came to the missions of collecting gems, destroying spikes or killing spiders and bats. When you finished a mission, you would collect your coins and automatically move to the next mission. Now since the update, any missions you complete need to be saved at the checkpoint before you can get another mission. And if you get killed before you can find a checkpoint, you lose all the progress you just completed and have to redo the entire mission. Also the cost of continuing a play after you have been killed has increased to the point where it takes your collected coins instead of the tokens and now I don’t like continuing the play due to trying to save my coins. The update has been good for everything else. I’m teetering on the thought of uninstalling because it gets so frustrating when you play multiple games and finally completing the mission but just to get killed and not collecting the reward before finding a check point. This game has lost a lot of its fun since last update. If the developers can change that, I will come back and rate 5 stars.

I love this game honestly. It’s great and I remember playing it WAAAAYY before all these updates that made you level up and use stars to progress instead of just coins. I rate 5 stars just because I love how they don’t ad spam players and they don’t force ads very often. Although, I am currently having an issue that completely makes it impossible to play the game.
I recently finished building the portal as part of the story of the game. But the game froze and would not let me continue the cutscene directly after the portal’s completion. And upon restarting the game and even my phone, I open the game and it has me log in and I am immediately stuck on thesame screen. I trust that the developers will fix this so I am not too upset at the moment but I would enjoy being able to play this game again.

This was one of the first games I ever downloaded on my phone and I still have it a year later. It is a great game and good to play when you are bored, but there is one problem. The recent updates have been excellent however there is something I don’t like: lives. You only have 3 LIVES to start out with! And I thought candy crush was bad! Has it ever occurred to you that some people aren’t very good at the game? 3 lives is way to little and I think that the whole concept of them is just to make money. Right now I probably would be complaining about the ads too if I hadn’t found a loophole. (Just put your device on airplane mode. Lol.) This game used to be a whole lot better but otherwise I think that the updates have been great. Please just increase the amount of lives.

Edit: I also think the fact that the village has electricity and telephones is a little ridiculous. I thought this game took place in the Middle Ages or something.

Another Edit: Ok now there are 5 lives to start with. That’s much better! 👍

This game has a very solid base, meaning the main gameplay aspects are fun when you first get the game. However, there’s very little to do outside of the occasional event, which all feel more like luck-based challenges over skill (Canon Defense, Science Experiments). An extra daily challenge or a high risk-reward mode would be much better. In terms of actual gameplay, the difficulty ramps up as you progress like many similar games, but the increase in pickaxe uses doesn’t seem like enough of a reward for progressing in the game, and it’s the only upgrade that truly changes how your game could end up. Adding a few extra skills for characters could be useful, and since their are already so many different characters to unlock (which take forever unless you got money to fork over), you might as well make them more unique. Overall a solid game to waste time but only for a week or two before it starts to get old.

Hello, I’m 10 years old and I love to play this game. But, this game needs some improvements. 1. Water- Water can kill several enemies like, Spiders, Snakes, Or Explosive snakes. 2. White snake, the white snake can lift up stones for you: It is like a hero. But he can kill you. 3. Super-bomb, The super bomb can light up ten flames instead of four. 4, Triple cannon, The triple cannon lights out three lasers instead of one.
Also, Reach is misspelled on Reach new levels, It says “Rich new levels”. Please correct that. Oh, and one last thing, please add more layers in the mine like, the deep blue sea when you reach that, you will get 10 gold coins. Plus, The Granite Mountains. If you reach that, you will get 20 gold coins. Also, Add new enemies that are called, Explosive Bat, And The Explosive spider. I hope you like my ideas but, I hope you update the game very soon...

I love this game it’s extremely fun but I don’t like the live system and the live system takes a long time to like regenerate and so when you have three lives you go three times and then it’s over you can play for like another 30 minutes and that stupid how do they expect their game to get more popular when you can play three times and have to wait 30 minutes I can understand why they might do that it might be like To tell you like it’s time to start playing video games at the moment so honestly I think it’s stupid how they do that so I read this three stars because of the live system I would’ve rated it like one if I wouldn’t of thought it was such a fun game so honestly it’s a great game they just need to get like rid of the live system if they want people to continue to play the game and let it grow to higher levels of popularity ( I hope you guys make your game better I hope you read this to.)

The game is fun, easy to learn and challenging enough to keep your attention for a while. The biggest problem isn't the colossal number of ads, it's that the game freezes about 1/2 the time after an ad runs. When the game freezes, you lose everything you gained on the last game and the time spent as well. Fix the ad-freeze bug and it'd be 5 stars for sure!

UPDATE: I didn’t know it was possible to add more ads than they had before, but they did! It’s more frustrating now because it forces you to watch an ad before playing a level now, and the ad crashing is no better. The company running their ads is the same one on several other games, and the ad crashing is in those games as well (Archero, Sumkoner’s Greed), so I’d be looking for someone else to put in charge of the ads...unless you like a game crashing 30% of the time, AFTER you’ve watched the ad. The game is a 5-star game but drops a few stars for the awful ad experience from Vungle.

Do you have a picture for me to dig out this is my favorite anything just to play it but one thing you need to change know how late the hearts to hearts are currently getting me this should be like five minutes so angry and like you’re like five minutes so that lake is best time because that’s my game I played Just think this is the best game I’ve asked you just didn’t do the limit to like a minute or something so I just wanna know I love this game at six dreamily like it’s extremely long time like regular select service and you know like when you like OK so when you like doing the thing OK bye love you I love you guys so much like you guys should make another thing like this love you guys so much like to go out part to love you guys so much like so

This could be a great game except for some very irritating features. Such as, every once in a while I hit a spot on the screen, I’m not even sure where it is, I will then be averted to DigOutMineAdventure Store for an app i don’t want and didn’t request to see. No matter how many times I hit done to get back to the game I cannot unless i close out DigOutMineAdventure losing an entire turn. New complaints. There is a bar on the very left hand side of the screen with three items that you can order to help you with the game. These obscure the very last set of blocks going down that side of the screen. You cannot see what is behind them and very often you end up getting killed because of something you can’t even see that there. It’s a stupid feature and I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. It could very easily be put at the top where everything else like that is. Stupid design

NOW IT WONT EVEN START!!

I have been playing this game for a few years now, and I have loved it from the beginning, one of the few games I considered a staple. When the game updated and included lives I accepted it because I loved the fact that I could now achieve multiple key goals in one game.

I have always tried to see the positives in every update. I’m really struggling with this one. Now I play the game and end up frustrated because if I die without finding the checkpoint I lose everything I have achieved, and even worse without finding the checkpoint, I’m back to only being able to achieve one goal at a time. What is the point of adding extra lives if you are going to make each life mean less?

The point of it is, they want to make money. And I am all for spending a little money on a game that I enjoy. Sadly this game has changed from one that I enjoy playing and gladly give a little money to, into a game that tries to bulldoze me into paying to achieve a fraction of what I used to.

Extremely fun game. This is one of those games I play just to play, don’t really care about the story. But completing the story can also help you.

However the overall design has it flaws. With so much on screen sometimes you can’t see dangers until it’s too late. There is no arrows or joystick on screen to move, it’s all in your thumbs, so sometimes when you want to go right, the character will move up or down which can get you killed.

I also wish that the bigger the treasure chest, the more money you get. Regular chests typically only give you 100 gold and it only goes up 50 each chest. When continuing costs more than you would get from watching 5 ads, sometimes it’s not worth it. You’d have to do quite a lot to keep you gold stocked

So I love playing this game but I find myself wasting away 2 lives within a few seconds, every time I come back and try to get into the game. By the time I know how to play again, I only have 1 life left. Meh the lives are too less and cost waay too much. 10 gold for one life? Nah. I don’t have an exorbitant amount of money to refill 3 lives every time because I DIE A LOT and I would be paying a lot while playing.

And I can’t wait out for only 3 lives because by the time I come back, the same thing happens and I lose 2 lives before I can really get into the game.

This game would have been amazing if they had no lives at all and you could play as much as you wanted. I would have the opportunity then, to consider getting invested in the number of characters or climbing the leaderboard. Now I barely get a chance to invest time into the game.

I used to play Dig Out a LOT back then. But there were a few problems that made it hard to keep playing.

1. I used to die SO, MANY, TIMES! So many rocks falling on to me. Maybe reduce the amount of rocks and monsters and other things for beginners, and it might be easier.

2. I always have to go and take my riches and send them to that green guy (I forgot his name) and when I have to take them to him and send the gems to the stronghold (IDK), that’s when I lose by losing pickaxe durability or by rocks and monsters. I then lose ALL OF MY GEMS! Because you have to go back to the stronghold, maybe make it salvage some of the stuff you took. Like 1/6 of the stuff that you got while digging.

Besides that, really good. But there’s a bug that you need to fix.

When I tried to play Dig Out on my IPad mini Apple or whatever, it just crashes. Please fix that bug!

I still love Dig Out, and I want to continue playing it but I can’t! I still love Dig Out, so I put 4/5 stars.

Listen, I LOVE this game and update, in fact this game is honestly SO MUCH BETTER than the original version but there's only one problem... Ya see, I can only get past the point where my hero talks to the elder trying to rebuild his home and I can't even get three blocks down without black then homepage of my IPad. Promise me you won't revert back to the old version in the new update, just update it to stop crashes please. Thank you my lords and ladies, you may rest assured knowing that I shall help you with repairing your village, the only thing that you must do is to please do this update that fixes crashes. And now I shall leave you to fix it and I shall live up my end after you receive this review and act upon it... And now I shall take my leave.

I’ve only been playing this game for a short while, (I believe I got it a week or so before the latest update) but the game somehow managed to go from a fun time-waster to a buggy, unpolished, pay-to-win mess in that short a timeframe. Even putting all the questionable new mechanics in the new update aside, the game has gotten much buggier. From the in-game physics deciding to take a day off to randomly dying to invisible spiders, the game miraculously manages to break itself in a new way every time I play it. I don’t think that I need to go into detail on why the new checkpoint system is stupid- enough people have already done that for me- so I’ll just leave it at this.

This game is not fun. It is not challenging. There is no strategy. The developers just want your money. I’d recommend staying away from it unless another update comes out that makes it more playable.

The game is fun and enjoyable as a distraction but there is really no objective. You upgrade hammers or blades but it does not elaborate as to what you can do now before you spent the money. The game freezes often and some rocks etc that you remove are still ghosted so you are stuck.

The constant ads are extremely frustrating and more times than not you just stop playing because you watch more videos for other games than the time you spend playing. Giving credit where credit is due, I did download and ad, dungeon boss, and really enjoy playing it. 10times more than I play dig out. If the ads were one to 15 minutes of play I could rate the game higher. Especially since they offer “buy something and the ads go away”. To me that means the developers know how annoying and frustrating they are and want to force a purchase.

This game is fun and interesting, unfortunately they are so busy pushing adds onscreen on the sidebar, that it frequently causes the game to lag resulting in you messing up or losing. I find this happens roughly 5-6 times in a 15 minute playing session. I find myself constantly quitting due to frustration over the lag. I have noticed since the most recent update that in game lag has increased dramatically to where I am experiencing it every few moves which is causing massive gameplay issues. Also the watch an add feature to earn credits is now causing the game to freeze completely. I am sure all of this has to do with the advertising pop ups and videos that are imbedded. If you’re going to force ads on us, please don’t ruin the gaming experience for said ads. The result will only be me deleting this game and disregarding all games advertised.
