Ragnarok Idle Adventure Plus Reviews

Last night, the community received items in their inventory, no warning, nothing was even sent to our inboxes. The items were 999x pet fruits that had like 20 stacks (probably trying to help out a buddy of theirs by gifting that into their inv and accidentally gives it to the whole server). 15-20 minutes later they put the servers into maintenance. 8+ hours later they say maintenance is done and now, everyone with a character on the game is banned. I’ve searched all over the web (FB, IG and google) to see when I can get back into the game to play my character which I put time and money into and can’t get in anymore. Me and tons of other people are having the same issue of being able to create new characters, but not being able to play our characters.. Gravity.. Just own up to how you messed up and refund everyone that spent money.

I have good tolerance for games that require some level of spending and often spend money myself. But this game is extremely predatory. Every single event on opening day requires in-game purchases. The daily/weekly/monthly package deals and purchase limit adds up to over 2000$ easily. And that’s just scratching the surface. We haven’t talked about multiple passes, monthly subs, event items, cosmetics package, etc. Offline idle grind are also penalized unless you spend money to raise your vip level to get more offline grind hours (default is capped at 2hrs I believe).

P2W players and F2P players will never be on the same playing field in any of these mobile games. But this game next it to the next level. You are not even in the same dimension. If this is what it’s like now, it’s only going to get worse as player count dwindles over time. Save yourself some time now and avoid this game.

I’m pretty annoyed that this game is more focused on pop up purchases instead of playable content. Every 10 levels or so there’s a pop up. There is no competing with the whales. When you’re stuck on a map you will be for days. Which they want so you can make purchases to go further. Just a no. And should be a no for everyone else.

The customer support just doesn’t get back to you at all, on top of the game being extremely p2w. As someone who has even spent money, you would think they would help you figure out ur problem being UNABLE TO EVEN LOGIN after a maintenance finished, disgusting company doesn’t care about its players just the money.

Do yourself a favor and go play GoGo Muffin if you’re looking for an idle mmorpg type game

I’m writing this review after a month of submitting a ticket to the customer support team. I’ve been playing for 4-5 months. They keep putting in loop and keep saying the same thing over and over and over that they will escalate the problem to the team. But nothing has been solved and after asking an update every week. It’s very frustrating to say the least that It has come to this leaving a negative review.

I spent around $400 on this game and I kept getting banned for ‘hacking.’ It happened multiple times ranging from 3 hours to 24 hours. Even when I report it they just say they understand. OK AND? They don’t do anything about it. Not a single form of compensation. This is an idle game where every day counts. I missed constant dailies and fell in ranking HARD because of this and even when I bring it up they don’t gaf. They won’t even refund my money. DONT PLAY

It’s definitely made by chinese company, some functions are free in other games, but you have to spend money to unlock those here. I tried this game on both iPhone and iPad, crashed constantly. If it’s so p2w, at least make the game smoother to play. To be honest, I’d rather play MapleStory, more content/more class/more skills/f2p.

As the title says - the game literally doesn’t work…at launch. Not a good look fresh out of the gate.

I will circle back with an adjusted review IF they get the game up and running. I was excited for a nice return to RO but companies really need to stop releasing games when they aren’t ready yet. Even on mobile devices.

As many have said it’s extremely P2W in a predatory fashion.

1. Auto progression locked behind a $15 pay wall. Battle speed increase locked behind a SEPARATE $5 pay wall. Typically, if you buy the more premium pass you unlock those features and the lower tier features.

2. Auto progression is designed to not fully work because you make it about five stages before the story narration takes over and force quits the auto progression. So, what did I spend $15 for if I still end up having to almost constantly click start and progress?

3. PVP Arena matching is horrible. Spent an hour trying to match with someone at my power level to complete win conditions for a quest and couldn’t do it. My team is not weak btw. That’s also ridiculous. Especially, if you’re going to have “win 30 battle” quests instead of “fight 30 battles”. Sadly, this resulted in falling asleep at 29/30 and that section of the “daily server quests” you can’t do later - they can only be done actively on that day of those daily quests. Also predatory. If you’re going to have that quest line structure then design a viable matching system. Though it’s probably purposely designed poorly to induce frustration spending so again, predatory.

Does have some of that RO nostalgia which scratches the itch a little but their practices are actually predatory and malicious which is quite disappointing. Feel free to hard pass or play for free to kill time occasionally. This is staying at 1 star.

I have been playing this game since launch and it is disappointing how Pay to Win this game is. I had such high hopes for this game because I love the Ragnarok games. From getting the mvp cards to getting the new pets you have to pay in order to get them and with no real way for a free to play player to get them. Also, the game is really unbalanced especially the dojo and PvP . In dojo the same people/guild have the best spots to farm and in PvP you will be in a winning streak and all of sudden you get paired with somebody that is decked out in nothing but cash shop items and high level characters. If there is balancing implemented in the future then maybe I will come back.

While the Ragnarok IP is super nostalgic, this game is a huge, blatant money-grab. They have so much content locked behind IAP, as the in-game currency is super hard to come by and is required for every single aspect of character progression. On top of that, so much content is only open at certain times during the day, requiring you to open RagnarokIdleAdventurePlus multiple times a day if you want to advance. Play it, but don’t make it your main game and don’t waste your money.

Worst idle game ever played, is crashing to much, I’m on an iPhone 16 so is not my device, the sound effects are so bad, you can barely read any text at all because font size and color patterns, all you can do is follow the red dots to know what to do, I don’t even understand the 2gb size one this.
You can’t auto fight the next boss unless you buy the premium pass, the stores is full of cosmetic, and really expensive packs, people really need to stop falling into this cash grab gacha games

You will get suspended if you switch to texts, messenger, WhatsApp while playing this game, for 3-24 hours at a time. This game also crashes every 10-15 minutes on an iPhone 16 pro. While the game itself is fun (although deeply p2w, but it is good if you like that experience), the dev team is absolutely clueless on player experience. There has also been NO customer support whatsoever, they don’t even bother checking their discord or emails. Every single ticket has the same response and there are no updates even a week later. Play if you want, but your money will be wasted.

It’s not terrible. Obviously it’s going to be p2w, being a mobile gacha game, so expect the normal things that come with that like persistent ads, and basically begging for money.
The real kicker for me, is the auto battle feature for the story. It’s very odd that you have to pay 15$ just to use this feature, and even at that it’s capped at 5 stages before the story takes over and disables auto play; skip that feature all together IMO.
It’s a decent time killer but don’t expect to top the charts unless you’re pumping money constantly.

Fast pace ragnarok, even though not RPG. Played and loved every single ragnarok game, I liked this one as well, would love it more if only the game wouldn’t keep on crashing most of the time. Only issue is that the game crashes almost everytime you open it.
Gravity should read reviews and fix stuffs for consumers. Thanks!

This game is too grindy and have very little quality of life designs. Everything needs gold and it is hard to level up your unit skills because everything is behind gold. I wish the devs can at least design the game where the skills are not locked behind pay to win.

I just downloaded the game when it went already available today but when i opened the game it says it is Under Maintenance. Really? There is not even a notice about the Server Maintenance and how long will it take. Game Mods. can someone please enlighten us?

As a father of three, this game has filled a void I didn’t know I had. I miss the days of RO classic, I missed my chance for WoE but now I can at least remember the world.
Great experience developers thank you for making this man remember his youth.

If their game messes up your account, their support team just ignores you. Don’t waste the time playing this game like I did. You’ll regret it.

Ragnarok games have always been my one of my fall back games to enjoy. So far this is not disappointing.

I played Ragnarok Online way back when. This game brings back some nostalgia!
