Every level ends with a video ad. I understand that game devs should be paid, but this isn’t the way to do it. It is obnoxious and spoils any fun.

Absolutely ruined this game with the amount of ads. I hope not a single person buys this junk just to remove your ads cause this is garbage.

The game is ok, but after playing for less than 30 seconds, I get a 10-15 second ad. Every, single, time. It took forever to play one game because of this. They really pressure you into pay $9.99 for the “premium” version that takes away the ads and gives other benefits that you can’t get in the free version.

I’m not sure there is enough here to warrant that price tag. There isn’t even any progression between games, so there is a big piece of the rogue mechanics.

Maybe I’ll revisit the game after some updates have been done to it.

Can’t even get through the first 2 minutes without the game giving this weird glitched panel that prevents you from continuing. Not to mention that the sword tower weapon does nothing.

While I do understand you need to play ads in order to gain revenue but for a trial run or even just giving the game a try, having ads play after every wave is insane. The whole purpose is to convince the average person to buy the premium version of the game for $10 but playing ads after every wave seems detrimental in that regard.

Ads are 5 seconds after most waves but some of them are unskippable 30 second ones, crazy

There are an obnoxious amount of ads. The game looks like it has potential but in my first play there was an ad after EVERY SINGLE ROUND. The round only last like 30 seconds and then boom… AD. I have never written a review for anything but I was looking forward to this game and had it pre ordered for over a month. Also it is $10 for the full version which seems like alot for this.

Game does not disclose that it is a “lite version” of the game. Many of the features it’s promotes are locked behind a 9.99 paywall for “Premium mode” Also shoves forced ads down your throat. I completed the first level not even 3 minutes after opening TowerfulDefense and got hit with an ad and had one at the completion of every wave up to 4 where I ended up uninstalling.

I spent more time watching ads than playing. It’s almost impossible to tell if the game is good enough to pay for the premium (ad free) version without watching an absurd number of adds. Not worth it. Uninstalled within a few minutes.

Checked out this game here to see if I wanted to pick it up on Steam, but having to sit through 20 ads in one run is so offputting that I am no longer interested in the Steam version either.

There is a full screen ad after every single wave unless you purchase the full game for $10. On top of being unbearable without purchasing the complete game, the complete game does not seem to remove the after run non-skippable ADs.

There is a ad in between every wave and the waves only last 30 seconds that is insanely overkill so that basically makes one full game 20 ads wow lol

One of those, “complete a level get an ad no matter what unless you pay us” games. Very little in the creative approach to a game, but if its your idea of fun, have at it.

Game is ok. Got boring after one win but it was still fun. There is not much gameplay if you do auto skills you just watch. When u level up u can pick upgrades and you can spend money in the show for more upgrades and you just repeat. I did see some person mention of 30 sec ad which seems like they got unlucky, because for me i watched only 5 sec ads after every wave so every about 2 minutes which is not that bad to be honest. Definitely not worth the 10 dollars. Id pay maybe 2-4 dollars for premium.

No idea what's triggering it and no idea how to get rid of it. Wish I could play the first wave all the way through.

I’d like to think this game is good and play more of it but everything is too hard to read. It’s too dark and the font is too small.

I love this game and I’m glad the developers removed some of the ads however I feel the price of premium still is slightly high for a TD game..

I have been playing this game ever since it released to TowerfulDefense Store and I have loved the absolute chaos the game can become. Some runs you get everything you need for your star run and sometimes you have to improvise with something new. This game is a must for anyone who likes games that are never the same. I would give a suggestion for there to be an sandbox for testing new strategies and more settings for endless. Thank you FVS for making this game.

Old reviews giving this a low score was before the last couple updates.

This dev listens to feedback. This dev cares about their game. The ads aren’t as in your face as previous reviews say, feels like a regular amount for a phone game now.

While I think there still is more that can be improved and added, I can’t complain when I see a dev respond to feedback and do their best to improve.

Previous reviewers should revisit and consider if they should change the review, since their criticism may no longer be accurate. That’s what I’ve had to do, and am happy to do so.
