Defenders: Tower Defense Origins Reviews

I used to play the tower defense games on Warcraft 3 RoC and Lotd. This game reminds me of those games. It has in-app purchases (just like most others), but so far I haven't even been tempted to buy. You earn the main currency with each level achieved. This game is awesome. You earn new towers when you collect cards from beating levels. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes tower defense games!

Gorgeous visuals, but the bar where the towers are is so small you can’t see what you are getting. All the writing is just SO small, and I’m playing on an iPad Air 2, can’t begin to imagine what gameplay is like on a phone. Really want to give this five stars for the graphics alone, but will not be playing until the size issues are fixed. Only played one level, so didn’t have a chance to have any other issues. At the end of the level though, the background spun around while the middle showed you how you did, that literally made me sick, you can’t do that... anyone with a tendency toward motion sickness will hurl... Good luck, can’t wait to play when issues are fixed.

You have to hold your phone to your face to be able to read the text, it is very very small and the zoom function does not let you zoom in far enough.

Other than the font/zoom issues this game is really great. I have not run into any other issues with this game and found it to be very enjoyable for short periods of time before I get too frustrated to continue playing because I cannot read anything. I have great eye sight too, my wife on the other hand does not and she could. It play this game due to the font size/zoom issue.

I consider myself a fairly picky TD player. I think this game is one of the best mobile TD games I’ve ever played. Great graphics. Smooth gameplay. Cool card upgrade system. Plenty of content. And I only pay to support the dev, not because I have to. No annoying energy requirements to play, not too many ads. Just a great game. Plenty of replayability as well. Two thumbs up.

I would give this game a 5-star rating. The game is really well made with a lot of great features. Leveling up the towers is a ton of fun! Graphically the game is visually beautiful for a phone app. But...

The game has an issue for me that sent me back three levels and six hours of gameplay. This has happened twice. Can't play the game offline then online, nor can it be saved. Restarting Defenders sometimes will make it freeze. The biggest issue is the loss of gameplay twice.

Like what was previously said, this game deserves five stars. The glitches make it like Sisyphus, endlessly bound to hell.

This game would be great if it weren't so buggy. There are lots of items to be gained by watching an advertisement, which I'm fine with....if they work. The problem is that often when you click on the ad the screen just goes black and stays that way until you force shut down the game. Or option two is you watch the entire ad and get no credit for it. Either one is especially annoying if it happens right after completing a level, in which case you don't get credit for the level either.

I am a big tower defense fan, and this game seems to have all great attributes in one game! Good graphics, tower selection, leveling up system, and a required use of strategy to win! I would suggest this to any fan of tower madness, tower defense, tiny bots, kingdom rush, etc. Option to buy help if needed, but not necessary to beat game! Looking forward to playing the second one as well.

Im quite a tower defense fan and this game takes the cake. There have been some people complaining about crashes and other bs, but it has barely affected me. It seems to be an issue with ads. But overall its 100% addictive and fun. Lots of great levels and enemy combinations to face against. It keeps me coming back for more.

I want more of the game, I want More tower, towers that don’t become useless after a point. A better tower against red ghosts, they are way OP. More levels. this app two was ok, but not the same this app one was more detailed and fun. I paid some money for towers the first time around. I downloaded it again and it was so much fun. Keep them coming guys

They tripled the resolution but forgot to increase the size of the controls. So they’re all 1/3 the normal size. To say it’s hard to play let alone read what’s on the screen. Is an understatement.
I even tried playing it on my Google tablet and that version crashes after each level. So I’m faced with tiny controls or constant crashing. I love the game. But thanks to the tiny controls it’s too difficult and fiddly to play.

This is an great TD game. The card system makes the game interesting. The graphics are amazing too. The one downside is that the game is too small to see on the screen. I have to really focus to read it on my iPhone. I’m sure it looks perfect on a computer, but the UI is too small for any other device

Good tower defense game but agree with others about the tiny text being hard to read. Also I like being able to upgrade towers and either I can’t figure it out even after checking the super lame help button or it isn’t possible.

Purchase has been disabled.. I only need Two cards and they never come up! Wish I could pay real money for stars but won’t let me. Seems to me you’re missing an opportunity

There are a lot of tower defense games but they are over complicated or aren’t fun for too long. This game is simple and I’m enjoying it very much. The graphics are also very pretty!!

After first boss mission this game is very hard no one can complete the game. You can complete the game if you buy some items from them this is why they make the game more difficult for those who don't buy the items. I personally don't like this type of trick for selling items. I request apple to remove this game from App Store this will be helpful for those who don't have money to buy item from developer.
