I picked this game up back in high school, so I think it’s about time I write a review.

This is a wonderfully well done game with beautiful art, a fun story, great characters, unique enemies, and unique towers. It’s somewhat challenging but not impossible, and has enough levels to keep you entertained for hours, with an actual ending to top it off.

Some people have said it’s “pay to win,” and sure, it can be EXTREMELY difficult if you do not buy the tower packs, but it’s a free game so what do you expect? Most tower defense games that are free do not look nearly this amazing. The towers each have their own unique role and/or ability. They are designed really well. And all of the packs only cost $8 in total; the game itself is well worth $8.

I still come back to this game ever other year or so and play it through until the end. All in all, and amazing game, and I only wish they would make a second one.

The game is fantastic in the beginning! Good variety of enemies and weapons to fight said enemies. Being able to block the path so the enemies have to take a different path adds a whole new dynamic to Tower Defense games! Once you get a few levels in however, the game gets exponentially harder and encourages you to buy stuff with real money to progress. I don’t want to support this kind of mentality in gaming, so I’m deleting the game now instead of paying to get further where I assume they would force you to pay again. It’s a bummer because the beginning was so great.

Solid game overall and the $1/pack is pretty reasonable to unlock the full game.

Only complaints are that towers will randomly "wander"/spin and are often looking in the wrong direction when enemies are coming. So these towers need to rotate around to attack, but some of them do it so slowly that enemies get through because your moron tower is off looking the wrong way. So frustrating and it's not something that the player can control.

You also can't set "preferred targets" for your towers as you can in similar games. The result is often seeing these slow turning towers "chasing" enemies while ignoring closer oncoming enemies. Again, this causes enemies to get through your tower range without being hurt significantly.

Dev, if you read this, turn off this "searching for enemies" action towers do when idle. Just have them face forward or let the player chose their resting direction. I'd also just increase the speed that flame/poison towers spin.

Really solid gameplay, love the mechanics and strategic angle. You need to think about range, weaknesses, and most importantly WHEN to build/upgrade.
Constructive criticism: (iPhone 12 pro)
Frequent issues with button responsiveness. I mostly notice it with the navigation buttons (left/right arrows in the tower selection rows), but have had problems selecting just about everything.
The dialogue boxes could be MUCH larger. There’s a lot of unused real estate on the screen. Use it, and make the dialogue text larger.
Overall a great TD game!

Make no bones about it, this is a pay to win type game. Without the upgrades you are not going to go too far. With that being said though I don’t mind that since to get all of the upgraded your looking at less than ten dollars.
My challenge is that I stepped away from the game for a while and when I come back none of my upgrades were still there.
I hit the restore purchases button in option but nothing happened.
I am wondering it this game is still actually getting any support since I have messaged the developer on several platforms with no response as of yet.
They get two stars for fun game but overly difficult at certain levels, poor AI for the weapon placements, pay two win and no support.

I’ve played this game for a number of years now, it’s by far the best tower defense game on mobile in any mobile OS, still play it to this day, would greatly appreciate more levels, more turrets even if to purchase and would love some controller support on iOS to minimize finger prints when playing, please release some content updates

I like tower defense games and this game is one of the best as far as layout imo. Not to hard to understand and it’s fun. It does get challenging very quickly. And it’s frustrating when you’re 20 waves in and find out your defense inst good enough to continue.... I’ve played this game for years tho and I love it one of the best on the market tbh

Good original take on TD. Awesome narrative and graphics. This would be a 5 star review without the poor performance I have on this piece of crap iPad. When I get a better non Apple product to run this on I will back for a 5 star.

One of my all time favorite tower defense games. There is enough complexity to challenge you a bit, but not so over the top you want to throw your phone. Yes it does take a few few dollars to get all the goodies, but very reasonable. My question is where is Radiant 2 ????

It's challenging and lovely. My only complaint is that on the iPhone 7 I cannot pause my game. If I get stuck on a level I can't start over, I have to delete and re-download RadiantDefense . Totally worth it though.

Loved playing this on my pc in college. A fun tower defense with great theme. I'd buy the soundtrack if they let me :/

Hey devs, any chance you can restore purchases made on a windows device ? I'll prove I bought in to it by telling you going full rockets is OP

Guys, this game is beautiful and challenging. I have no issues paying a dollar here and there to support the devs and help my progress. If you guys could please add support for the iPhone X display it would absolutely be 5 stars, but almost 7 months after the phone was released it just seems lazy at this point :(

Started playing this in 7 years ago and its very good! Plz fix some bugs and add new stuff into the game!

There’s no way I can beat this game. I think some tweaks should be made to building & upgrade costs. There needs to be an option to win this game without giving up and playing in another year.

It’s ridiculous on trying to beat level 3 with wave 7 just throwing a crap ton of small fast moving enemies..
build more towers, the game says. Well I can really do that when the science thing costs $200 and you already hardly get any money in game.

I love this game but mission 2is to hard

I liked playing the game but when ever I did I found that my tower would attack the aliens in the back of the line and I lose because of that. It is fun I just want that fixed
