If you care about human rights and want to support social issues that are going on in the world, don’t get FANS. I downloaded FANS to interact with Stray Kids and stays, instead I got mass reported for speaking up about social issues. It’s not even just that but you literally can’t say/post anything on FANS without being reported. I posted some nice, wholesome memes and got blinded. I posted about owning a Bbokari skzoo and got reported. I posted about liking watermelon and got reported. It’s not about people not finding me funny but about how much censorship FANS has. This also isn’t about politics because human rights is not political, it’s about choosing to support other humans who are in need.

FANS is incredibly slow. i know it’s in the beta stage, however FANS lags/crashes all the time when artists are using it especially when stray kids use it since so many this app are coming on at once. also the US/Canada can’t receive verification codes because FANS says our regions aren’t supported yet. not quite sure how the testing phase can even be accurately tested if 2 whole countries can’t even use it yet and also if it constantly lags out.

*FANS keeps crashing and I’m unable to access it sometimes.
*The phone verification process is not working so I can’t post in community. I’ve been trying to verify for a day and a half now
*When the artists comment on a post, I can see their comments but not the original post so I have no context on what they’re replying to.
WAS FANS USER TESTED AT ALL??? Disappointing experience all around. I hope they either fix the issues or move to another platform.

This issue has not been solved despite recent updates. Groups' communities are still going live despite lack of availability to large numbers of this app. It makes it feel as though developers are not concerned with some western audiences.

Please fix this issue. Many this app are deeply disappointed and upset.

I still haven’t been able to verify my phone number

FANS was not developed to withstand the number of people who attempted to download it upon release. it took almost an hour to sign up and join a community after it downloaded due to constant crashing and freezing. the translation feature does not provide an accurate translation and FANS does not allow for copying or screenshots, which means you don’t actually know what artists are saying unless you go to a third party translator and retype the message. i made multiple attempts to verify both my number and email to no avail. i was able to make a single comment by fluke before repeatedly being met with a request to verify my number again. as of the last 24+ hours all us/canada numbers are met with an error message upon trying to verify. i am also unable to add my membership verification to FANS . i’m disappointed in the consistent disregard for international this app by jype, and this platform is no different.

FANS is lagging and I can’t verify my number

FANS is supposed to be a place where artists can connect with this app. However, it’s become a place where this app are censored and their genuine concerns are treated as “hate” or “criticism towards the artist”. You have never protected your artists when they genuinely needed it, yet when this app express their concerns and tell the company to do better at choosing who their artists work with, this is your response? To silence this app? Do you not realize that you are turning away newer this app by allowing this to happen, and causing older this app to leave? This issue is not going away. Trying to silence us will not work. Do better. Address the issue before you make it even worse for yourselves (the company) and for the artist. If you care about Stray Kids reputation, then you need to own up to your mistakes and make a statement. This is not going away.

At first this application allowed this app to communicate with Stray Kids, without a paywall. Which was a great thing for those who can’t afford to pay for a membership. However that has since changed, and now FANS is being monitored through AI and simple photos of Stray Kids are being blocked from being posted. It’s disgusting the lengths this company will go to, to avoid taking accountability for supporting problematic individuals. Please read these reviews and take time to reflect on your decisions as a company and divest your funding from problematic institutions, and people. Do better.

I’m in America and I’ve had FANS for hours and no matter how many times I try, log out and log in, etc. It won’t send me a verification code so I can’t access the community

JYPE has just updated FANS so that you can basically do/see NOTHING without paying for a membership. On top of that, FANS now automatically takes down ANY post about activism, and any post or photo that involves the colors green/black/red even if the post has NOTHING to do with Palestine. You can’t even post a photo of a skz member wearing a green shirt or it gets deleted by FANS . All of this because JYPE is trying to silence this app and to such an extreme extent. I hope the company is ashamed.

this app was supposed to be a way for people to interact with their artists, instead it’s been hidden behind paywalls and censorship. Most peoples post who’ve been taken down are not sending hate or harassment of any kind, rather trying to inform the company of a problem that has to do with their artists. They are wrongfully even taking down posts that have nothing to do with the situation. It’s unneeded and excessive. Stop censoring important feedback.

full of censorship and your posts can be reported and removed for no reason or actual violation of any rules. after an unspecified amount of reports, your account can be terminated.

Recent changes have really highlighted the poor moderation on the platform. Reports are almost exclusively done by this app, so there is no true vetting process on what is hidden — this can lead to reports done in retribution or pettiness, and no actual check if the user has broken TOS.

I do not recommend it, in addition I do not think it would be safe for any young person due to the bad moderation.

for some reason every time i post something it gets mass reported and deleted? idk what’s going on. i paid about a hundred dollars including shipping for the membership and now i can’t even post a photo of han or a text post about how much i love felix or it gets reported and taken down?? the only posts i do see are about how we should all support the new single and if we don’t we should get beat up??? it’s really weird and hostile and concerning. i just want to post cute photos of han i cannot believe i paid money to get harassed for something i don’t even know or care about.

Since I first got FANS, I had a very hard time trying to activate my account via phone number. Since then, FANS has been nothing but glitchy and laggy and I have noticed that some of my posts get taken down with no reasoning or explanation given. I will no longer be using FANS in the future.

I loved FANS because it was one of the only free ways to actually interact with Stray Kids and see what they post. Now ya’ll are allowing their company to censor the this app who don’t have the membership? Anyone should be allowed to post on that app membership or not and it’s very disappointing that FANS allows that type of censorship. Do better! ❤️🖤💚🤍

this app just implemented new rules that completely ruin the entire experience and destroy the whole purpose of the community to SILENCE people. I was on there when it started up, and (1) most groups don't even use it, and (2) the community on there is so toxic that you can't even share information or fun pictures without getting reported.

Where were these features when there was ACTUAL harassment on the platform?

All in all, an incredibly messy platform that is now pretty much unusable and unenjoyable. Deleted my whole account and everything.

I installed the application to be able to know more about my favorite group but when I entered and searched, not all the artists were registered, such as:” BOY STORY”
And it seemed silly to me that they do not include the other artists who do their best to be recognized, it is not the first time this happens, but I ask that you take them into account from now on. Thank you!

After agreeing to the terms, it asks you you enter a phone number. I live in USA and I never received the verification code, even though I tried multiple times. Please help fix this issue.

It is so shameful the lack of care to STAY who maybe don’t have enough money or are currently struggling money wise. You need to pay for EVERYTHING! I installed it again not too long ago, only to uninstall it as nothing has changed. This company is greedy, point blank. All people wanna do is interact with the idols they love, but you can’t unless you buy the membership. Notice how it’s
mostly just SKZ where you have to pay for things. It’s because they know most users mainly bought it for skz, and they JUST want your money. It’s greedy and gross. I hope whoever is the owner of FANS reflects and actually cares for the this app rather than the money. The company’s reputation is already depleting, and this isn’t helping.

Glitches all the time, no perks for i- stays, but what else is new. Members only chat with fan club members, which I was for three years but the site to jojn the fc has changed payment acceptance so I can't join this year. Thanks for making i-stays feel unwelcome JYP

I’ve been trying for almost 24 hours just to verify my device/email on FANS . It says it can’t verify a phone number for US and Canada. Why not? I tried with email and I hav not received the verification code. Why is FANS so difficult?? Please help!!!

I’m well aware FANS just came out, but there are so many glitches. When Hyunjin made a post, I was unable to open FANS and it crashed. Maybe from so many people on it? I still can’t verify, actually they’re not taking US/Canada verifications right now. They were unprepared for the amount of traction this would get. Will change my review if this stuff gets fixed

This used to be a very fun app. I loved interacting with other stays. However, the operators of FANS decided it was okay to silence any this app who didn’t pay them by buying the membership. It’s absolutely useless without the membership. Not only do the operators silence their artists, they also silence their this app. Very shameful. JYPE, divest from Zionism.

don’t really know what’s the point of FANS when we had bubble community…. keeps crashing every two seconds too and doesn’t support u.s. and canada phone numbers?

Huge problem was the phone number verification. I input my phone number and was told that US/Canada phone numbers can’t be verified. Tried again at a different time and was given same information. Tried a THIRD time and was told that verification period is over. Tried to contact customer service and that page was in Korean with no answer indication on the page to change to English.
Definitely not yet user friendly.
What started as an excited app for me to try turned into a frustration filled rage.

Sending the US verification code doesn’t work

I can’t post anything in the community because I can’t verify my phone number. I’ve been trying since FANS opened and I never receive a verification code.

FANS is nice so far Felix and hyunjin had send messages ( I’m not sure about other communities) but there’s some lagging. It takes a lot of time to load when you first open FANS making it hard to see the artist’s messages and reply as soon as they send them. I’m not sure if other people have this problem but for me it lags a little but over all good app.👍🏻

I’ve been trying to verify my account, but the verification codes aren’t being sent. I’m choosing my country’s code and inputing my phone number, but the texts never arrive.

i really like the premise of FANS but i couldn’t even post because the verification wouldn’t send to my number so please fix that

So I just joined about 20-30 minutes ago and I had to verify my number,do I went to look for the number and I couldn’t find it.

FANS is suppose to be akin to Weverse and works likewise. The only problem is that this app is extremely glitchy especially when the server gets overloaded. It is clear that FANS was most likely not made to handle a lot of people on it at the same time even though it should’ve been.

yet another service offered only to make basic features exclusive to paid members. a bit disappointed.

So many bugs and many people still can’t get their number verified. It would have been okay if the artists hadn’t already started using it. Don’t get a badge number on FANS icon when there is a notification. Hope the membership has a lot of in app perks. With 94k likes on one artist post, I don’t see the benefit of an international stay buying the membership.

Everything is working just fine but it still wont send the verification code after 12+ hours of FANS being released. I hope it gets fixed before the all officially is released and please update us if it’s getting fixed

What was the point in allowing US area codes to be selected if it’s not even being supported at this time? FANS looks great but I can’t even comment anything without a verified number. This hinders the experience 😩

Been trying since app launch to verify my phone number and keep getting “Currently, sending SMS to US/Canada region is not supported. Please try again later.” I can see posts but that’s it. Frustrating!!

Why isn’t U.S and Canada Region not supported?
My friend who lives and is from Canada and wants FANS but it won’t work.
I live and is from the U.S and it is upsetting me.
I was really excited to go on FANS after waiting a few days for the release.
Then I have to verify it by putting my phone number, but it’s not supported in regions: U.S and Canada.
Imagine all the this app who have been waiting for FANS to come out and want to sign into FANS but it doesn’t work for them because of this reason.
Please fix it.

I’ve seen many complain about phone numbers not getting verified. We get an error saying “currently, sending SMS to US/Canada region is not supported. Please try again later”. Most of us downloaded FANS as soon as it got out, but it’s still pretty new so I understand. I just hope they fix it soon.

FANS is gonna be TROUBLE!!! After all the headaches of getting the phone number verified, I am having a blast interacting with other Stay and posting content! Everyone is having so much fun that the vibe is fun, and light, and it’s only made better when Skz pops out and lights everything up with their two cents!

If I had any request of FANS team it would be to create the ability to click on a comment (whether it me my own, or one of the guy’s) and have that click take us to the original post. For two reasons:

1. Sometimes I’ll write something like, “Awwwwww! Cute!!!” Then the OP will like it or comment, and I can’t recall what I thought was so cute because I’ve been in and out of a million posts by that time.

2. When one of the guys makes an obvious joke, or funny comment, it would be cool to see what the original post was. Much of the time it is a response, so I can tell that they are being witty, but without the context, the joke is lost. Soooo, we should be able to click a comment and have it direct us to the main post.

Other than that, so far, so good!
I can’t wait to see what further updates are going to bring, not to mention the exclusive membership content!!!

Took a few days for me to be able to verify my phone number, but it seems to work now. And it takes FANS forever to load if a member posts something. Still a really good app and I live being able to have this option and it be free, waiting for more groups to be available!

You can still like and see everything if your phone number can’t be verified though, you just can’t post anything

I think it’s a good thing that JYP refused to join Weverse, and I respect this fact.

FANS is pretty smooth to use and the screenshot problem was fixed quickly.

I just wish this app could follow each other and perhaps message each other separately, that would perfect FANS. Five stars if this feature will be added in future updates!

FANS has been really great so far and I love being to interact with all the stays and other fandoms but the only problem is that anytime I want to verify my phone number I won’t send me a code and then now it stops me from being able to post or comment on anything 😞

I’m trying to verify my mobile number and receive a message that SMS messages cannot be sent to US/Canada carriers at this time. BUT my country is not US/Canada. Hoping this gets fixed soon because you cannot send/post comments until you verify your mobile number.

I LOVE STRAY KIDS. That’s why I got FANS but the first time I got FANS it was so hard getting my phone number verified. I would press send to my number and it would not send! But then it finally just let me into FANS a day later. ( two of my friends tried to sleep get FANS and it would not let them in). Also the translation is really off and making the idols look like they are saying weird things to stays.. but thank you for making FANS I love being able to interact with stays and stray kids!

just downloaded FANS and i’m already loving how this is looking! but there’s one problem which is verifying my phone number. i put in my correct mobile phone number but i don’t receive a verification code no matter how many times i’ve resent it. i even closed out FANS and deleted and redownloaded it but i can’t seem to receive that verification code. how can i fix it?

Honestly considering everything FANS will do it’s a really good start and a lot of the issues have been fixed quickly.

Here’s a few things that would be nice to see added

- The ability to follow other users
- The ability to create groups (which would help stays meet and get together for concerts)
- The ability to use multiple translators
- The ability to copy text!! (This would really help for mistranslations)
- Hashtags would be cool

so i was begging my parents to buy me FANS but they didn’t want to at first because of the reviews but i had no problem getting my phone number verified or anything so yeah it is a really great app and i am excited to see more groups coming!! 🎀🎀

When I first got it I was like wow FANS looks so cool that you can she your idol post like stray kids when they post but when I tried to verify my number it would not work but now it does so yeah FANS is great.
