Was excited for Astra after seeing it recommended by my fav astrology page on Instagram. After downloading and entering my info, hit a pay wall. No free version available at all. To progress further you must subscribe for the free trial. Which is only a few days, then $6.99 a week. Price is much higher than other similar apps. Without experiencing the apps functions how do I know if I want to subscribe? Have zero confidence in Astra. Much better experience with Lila app and it’s accuracy.

There shouldn’t be a limit.. doesn’t matter how many people are downloading. How is this supposed to be a safe space if I have to pay for it to be a safe space? I need to ask a question now and I don’t have money atm to pay no “4.99” a month. It’s like taking advantage of someone’s feelings just so you can get paid.. because some people will break down and actually do it.. just for the support. Update: its actually weekly and now it’s saying 6.99 per week, that is outrageous.

I was excited to try it out after seeing it promoted and reviewed on social media, mistake #1. My experience has been disappointing. Here's why:
Pricing Deception: Astra is advertised to be free but actually offers only a 3-day trial before charging $6.99 a *week*. This is misleading at best.
Astrological Inaccuracies: It repeatedly and confidently provided incorrect information. For example, it insisted that my moon (2* ♊️) is in my 2nd House instead of my 1st House, which I know to be correct using Traditional astrology and the Placidius House system. Despite verifying its uses both Traditional astrology and the Placidius House system, I had to prompt it multiple times using my AC (16* ♉️) and the cusp of my 2nd House (14* ♊️) to get the accurate answer. It also mixed up mine and my partner’s charts twice in the compatibility report, attributing incorrect planetary placements. When I pointed out the errors for the third time, it promised a new report but failed to do so.
Consumer Trust and High Cost: this app's inaccuracies are concerning, especially for users less familiar with astrology. It seems to provide "Al hallucinations" rather than reliable insights. Considering the flaws, Astra 's price is not justifiable.
In summary, this app falls short on accuracy and transparency. I recommend seeking alternative astrology apps that provide better value for your money.

I asked this app the same question 4 different times and got 4 different answers on what my Lilith placement was. if Astra was accurate, it would be really cool, but I cannot trust anything that it says because it gave me four different answers for the same question. needs improvement.

never give your info to anyone or anything without a preview. i have no idea if it's good or not or if it's worth it. they freely took all my info then "offered" a free trial for 3days that i couldn't say no too. i saw this on tiktok and it's already NOT as advertised. i didn't get to use any features or do anything to see if it's even worth the free 3 day sub. so i deleted it.

I am extremely disappointed with the this app app. Despite providing all my information accurately, most aspects of my natal chart report were incorrect. They had the wrong sign and house for my North Node, which is a basic yet crucial detail. I tried to correct it multiple times, but it still came up wrong. It’s frustrating to see an app charge for such inaccurate information.
I strongly recommend Astra developers focus on improving the accuracy of their AI algorithms. Since this is an AI-based app, they need to ensure their technology correctly interprets and processes astrological data. Consulting reliable sources like Cafe Astrology could enhance their accuracy. Additionally, they should consider using different housing systems; I’m not sure if they’re using whole sign houses or something else, but the current system is clearly flawed.
this app is on a path to becoming as disreputable as CoStar, which is already a laughing stock within the astrology community. Providing false information doesn’t educate users and only damages their reputation. They need to address these issues urgently. Until then, I cannot recommend Astra to anyone serious about astrology, or anyone in general, due to its inaccuracy.

I was really hoping that this would be good, but it fell short in many ways. First, the cost is $363 per year. Which, I actually wouldn’t have mind paying IF the information was CORRECT. I am an avid astrologer, so I knew what to ask it, and it did not give the right information am AT ALL. It told me that signs were in wrong houses, and planets were in places where they aren’t. And the worst part about it was when I pointed these errors out, it asked me to teach it what I knew. So, in summary, you will either pay for wrong information, or you will be charged to give it right information.
I was really rooting for Astra because the knowledge of astrology can be such a freeing experience for those trapped in their own cycles, but it just seems like a money grab targeted at those who are looking for real answers and don’t understand astrology. Save your money and hire a real astrologer to read your birth chart for you.
by Whyareallthenamestaken1234
I was looking forward to downloading this a playing around with it, only to see disappointment. 1 it asked me quite personal questions as if my birthday, city,(birth place), and birth time. I don’t know if my birth place was need or will I understand. 2 it was advertised as free but won’t even let you do anything unless you play. This is a waste of time and storage.
by Pica Rica
Astra’s inaccuracies are not only glaring but also egregious, especially given the $7 weekly charge to disseminate such falsehoods. It’s profoundly disappointing that four reputable astrologers I follow have endorsed Astra. Regardless of financial incentives, promoting such a subpar tool is a disservice to the intricate, lifelong discipline of astrology.
Astra fails basic queries like “What sign is the moon in today?” or “What are the nodes currently in?” Moreover, its inability to recognize previously entered data about individuals further undermines its credibility. While the concept holds promise, the execution is abysmal.

You go from being completely free to 6.99 a week? No literal like working up to that or anything like that? Free, to now $30 a month? Are you actually out of your mind? I want to say what I really want to say, but my review will get taken down. you don’t really care about helping people with astrology or getting closer themselves or learning more about themselves or anything like that or you would realize in this economy going from free to 30 freaking dollars a month is actually I don’t have the words for how insane that is. I am a wordsmith clearly and I just don’t have the words for how literally astronomically insane that is. I hope you crash and burn. I hope now no one goes to you guys. This is greed and capitalism at its absolute finest. I cannot even understand this. 6.99 a month maybe sure. A freaking week? A WEEK???????????? For not even always accurate information? I literally have to fact check everything I get from here. And it’s not always right. It is right sometimes but so is a broken clock. I enjoyed Astra because it was quick and easy and FREE. but $30 a month for information that I have to fact check myself, y’all can get bent honestly. There are more apps out there.

I am so frustrated! I have had Astra for a while now and have always enjoyed it. However, I went to look in Astra today to see what is in store for this month, and I CANNOT get past the paid subscription pop up! I have tried to swipe it closed, click the continue to see if I can circumvent it, look for an X, and close and reopen the entire app. NOTHING is working. What am I missing? Are we now being forced to pay to use Astra? Everything online says that it’s free but there is an option for you to pay for a subscription. Why am I not able to access this “FREE “ app that I have always had?
by Elizaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
All I was trying to do was learn more about my 5th house and the ruler and Astra kept giving me readings for the wrong placement.
when I would ask why the information was incorrect considering I just gave it all of my birth info it just kept apologizing and was literally just guessing my 5th house ruler, after 5 guesses I informed it of what my house ruler actually was and then I got the reading HOWEVER I would not trust anything it say’s because it can’t even remember the natal chart info you just typed in!!!
Chatgpt works way better , don’t bother with this trash.
by Idkididntevenwantanickname
last night i renewed my subscription and upgraded to monthly and not weekly. this morning i opened Astra and it forced me to pay the weekly fee. i’ve just paid for Astra twice. and i can’t seem to contact the developers and i highly highly highly doubt report a problem through apple will get me a refund because the people at apple don’t care and never give out refunds. so on top of all this, i lost my first two saved conversations on this app because i had to delete to see if i could not pay a second time. but it forces you to pay no matter what, there’s no option on that first page to just restore a purchase. i will be cancelling my subscription and never using Astra again. it’s a shame, because i found it helpful. but i don’t find lying and cheating and scamming helpful.
by Queen Of The Leopards
Definitely some kinks to be worked out! I really enjoy the concept and that you truly can ask it anything. However it made several mistakes of my signs multiple times when asked questions such as ‘What can I learn from my Venus sign?’. Also, sometimes regarding compatibility, it ‘flip flops’ one person’s sign for another: i.e. refers to John’s Leo rising as Avery’s Leo Rising, and Avery’s Gemini rising as John’s, when discussing how two people’s signs may interact.
Also, Astra is advertised largely as free but you actually only have a 3 day trial before being charged 6.99 a WEEK.
by This Isnt Right....
It’s okay as far as I’ve seen, unfortunately it got incorrect information about some birth chart, I hope it gets corrected. Not only that, but I personally feel like it doesn’t take in account aspect in the birth chart. It’s beginner friendly at most, a second co-Star at that.. it’s just A.I. slapped on an overpriced app, there is no real work or effort behind the information on Astra; they probably only programmed how Astra disperses information and that’s it!
by Art.by.kp
I really like the layout and presentation of Astra . I’m disappointed that after having Astra for a couple of months, I follow a notification that forces me to sign up for a weekly subscription. I get that Astra is taking off and kudos to your marketing team for getting it out there. There are different ways to monetize an app other than a weekly subscription. You’ve lost a user.
by OwOUwUTuTb
This is not a real astrology app and u can tell based on the generic descriptions given based on ur birth chart. Also the “advice” features do not work. I tried them out multiple times and all I got was a notification to check my WiFi connection even tho there was nothing wrong w my WiFi. Anyway ur better off just reading the daily horoscope in a newspaper or magazine or smth.
by Firelilly22
I saw it advertised on tik tok and it looked really cool however when I went to set up an account I had to get a subscription and yes it’s free for 3 days but it won’t let you begin it without a card not wanting to start the trial i tried to skip it but it wouldn’t let me there was no way to bypass it i’m sure the sight it great but seeing as i couldn’t get passed the set up i wouldn’t know
by LRMC222
Was so fascinated until I realized it was giving me incorrect responses with astrocartography. It is a very insightful app and still impressive in ways but extremely deceiving since it can’t even analyze a chart to apply real responses to my questions. It admitted it is an “algorithm based large language model” so it’s a conversationalist, not an actual astrocartography tool but will still mislead you to believe it is answering your questions with real information. “Let me analyze your astrocartography chart” then apologized when I asked why it said it could analyze charts. It said, “i shouldn’t have acted like I could do that”
by Manturaya
When asking about astrocartography it mentioned that NO lines were crossing specific places I was asking, which... sure, maybe not boldly, however you do still have energy anywhere you go, yet it still failed to give me any detailed descriptions. Astra is mainly focusing on your big 3 with any questions you ask, making this a very generalized ai reading, which... is ok,, just not 7$/week worth of ok. I'm sure for $30 you can get a much more specific reading from a real astrologer. Nonetheless, if you're looking for something cutesy and interactive, Astra is for you. Astra would get a 5⭐️'s if it was free tho, the potential is definitely there for more general questions that can surely be answered with a quick google search of your specific placements.
by NicknamePizza695
Needs work as other reviews have said. Could be a great tool but as is, it simply doesn’t give you the right info. It gave me the wrong info for my chart and also the wrong info for current planetary placements, as well as wrong info for future planetary placements. This is a very expensive app at $28/month for wrong info. If they can fix the issues it would be a good app, but still far too expensive.
by Stardreamer82
When asking questions about compatibility or even upcoming astrological events, the AI will often get the transits and placements wrong. People need to pay attention to these details as the information they give is highly inaccurate. I use POE for intuitive insights and I feel like that app is better than this one… cheaper too.
by Yeeyur
Initially, the first look is great. The formatting, overall aesthetic, and simple style leaves for practical and straight forward use.
I find the overall idea is great.
My first issue would remain in the accuracy. My first example has to deal with a, “Romantic Partner”, birth chart. Under, Compatibility, “Approach to Relationships”, it mixes up my mars sign, and signifies in the further details that he is my mars sign.
My second issue is the overall complexity. I understand it’s in its first few stages of development. Which so far is absolutely amazing. Though when asking the AI in the, “Romantic Compatibility” chat, my partners mars sign; it was unable to answer. In its response it restates that there is only access to the, sun, moon and rising sign.
Overall the, AI’s response (assuming) they only have the intellectual ability to converse information through the top 3 is very impressive.
I love what it has to offer so far. I look forward to see where Astra developers take Astra.
by GrannyMim03
I really enjoyed my free trial of Astra and I think it has great potential to interpret more of your. chart, as it seems to heavily focus on the big 3. Unfortunately the 6.99 A WEEK price tag makes it not at all worth it to me. That how much a streaming service is monthly, something I use a lot more than an app like this. If this was a monthly cost maybe it could be justifiable, but per week is totally nuts. Astra doesn’t have nearly enough features to justify its $21 a month price tag.
by Kdawnc18
$6.99 per week? that's actually insane. I swear if Astra was free or cheaper i would use it all day long. literally i signed up for the free trial immediately and i might give it a week but there's actually no way unless you are in a higher tax bracket could spend basically $30 on a app each month is crazy.

I was just looking under the reviews before writing this to see if I was just gaslighting myself into believing that I'm wrong and to trust machine learning software but I see my suspicions have been confirmed. Astra is incredibly inaccurate & not at all intelligent. I asked when did Saturn go into Pisces. It says it goes into Pisces December 7, 2024 (mind you Saturn is already in Pisces & its July). So then I asked a clarifer just to see if maybe it had made a mistake it says something along the lines of— sorry for the error, maybe you are thinking of when Saturn went in Retrograde back in November 2024. Again this is July 2024. I said do you mean 2023 & it says no. Pisces is in Saturn right now and it started its retrograde November 2024 and goes direct on December 7, 2024. How is that possible ?? Not to mention, I can’t help to notice this very subtle undertone of SASS coming from this AI. Loud and wrong— at the same time. & now they’re charging folks for the wrong answers. Yea, right!
by Cherry124368
I love Astra , but I noticed it would always say “Sorry, something went wrong…” after a couple of convos in a chat, so I would have to restart a brand new one. I noticed it started having that message short and shorter in each new convo. Now it says “Sorry, something went wrong…” automatically to the point where I can’t use Astra .
by Lillian Flood
I think this is such a cute app and it’s very simple. I just have two things about it… I added my boyfriend’s chart and was reading the information and looked at the compatibility but it swapped our moon signs. The second thing is I feel like some free features would be amazing like maybe a free question a day or something. I can’t afford to keep Astra right now and that’s really sad.
by Vv152love
Astra is cool but you can’t really do much unless you pay for a subscription which is $5 a week. you get a limited amount of responses and then you are prompted to either subscribe or wait 24 hrs to continue
by Babycatlitter
I was so conflicted with a decision, and this gave me such good advice and clarity. I’m someone that uses astrology as a guide in my life, so the responses were so helpful as they included reasonings with my birth chart. Please get this!!!
There are limited amount questions in the free version per day, so just be mindful of that.
by BluDreem
Seen on TikTok and had to give it a try. I know its AI but my questions got such a genuine response..! Loved it as soon as it said “don’t stress it babe..”
like aww what the he- it feels like im talking to a person. Honestly debating about paying premium to ask more questions.. ONLY ONE PER DAY 😭
Whoever created Astra.. THANK YOUUU!!

I would have to say this is a very cool app! I love how there are different categories, and each category fits to your questions, and obviously your zodiac sign! 😂
by Dumbo1959
One thing about me is that i love astrology. Astra has helped me learn so much more about myself through my sign with all of its great features!
by Tam Rosa
I don’t know if Astra works with the zodiacs but it does make me feel so much better emotionally. It also gives great advice!
by Adri_135
Found this from a Tikok and was super intrigued. Downloaded it and set up a partner to test the compatibility. Asked it some pretty complex and direct questions and the answer was so detailed and thorough. Astra is impressive.

Astra was referred to me by a few friends. I’ve always been an astrology skeptic but this app is starting to change my mind. The clean and concise presentation of the content makes it very approachable for a beginner and I while it may not always have all the answers, chatting with Astra gives me tons to think about and fresh perspectives. Love it
by Dj Beast Ziggy Crisp
I love Astra mainly because you can get pep talks from the ask me anything section. You can seriously get really good advice about situations that seem hard. Or if you’re feeling down, the answers are always very uplifting and it always helps me

i was really worried that we weren’t going to last but this app gave me really good perspective on the future of me and my boyfriend :)
