Fairy Village Reviews

So far I love this game, the idea is really cute. The art style is wonderful, and i’m loving the features and home designing. However, after a while I lost all but one of my villagers. I had like 5 total villagers or so and they suddenly just disappeared after reopening FairyVillage . All the clothing they were wearing went back to my inventory, but they’re just gone. I can still go on explorations, but there is no villager selected. Also just unlocked the cat familiar, but it does not show up, and every time I open the menu for it, the page gets stuck and I have to restart FairyVillage . This is sad because I had all my villagers dressed up and named and I don’t know how to get them back.

Update: I continued to play the game and I got a few more villagers, which have now also disappeared. I’m back to just having one villager again, and I’m upset that it happened again. Not only that, but the critters no longer show up. After a day of playing they stopped spawning in my village. Now I cannot get rewards for the fall event. Not to mention FairyVillage sometimes stays on the loading screen despite my good connection status, and I have to play again later when it decides to start up again. Really disappointing because I wanted to give this a good rating.

The theme, the style, characters, everything really, it’s all so cute. I debated rating it higher because it’s just so adorable, but…. This game is just built around you watching ads, for anything and everything. The wait time for expeditions are about an hour, and there’s nothing to do in the game while waiting except watch ads for more outfits, furniture, and gems. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me. They want you to do surveys, got like three pop up things to watch more ads in your main housing area. None of the other reviews talked about it, so I thought I’d tell you how it really is. It’s a Bummer.

The game looks BEAUTIFUL don’t get me wrong! Animations are phenomenal. However there is really not much to do. If you want to customize your village you need money and materials. However, to get those materials you need money. To get money in the game you send a character on expedition. That’s cool no big deal. The expedition increase in 5 minute increments. You start out waiting a minute then soon you’re waiting an hour. It’s one of those games where u just wait to keep building. This game had so much potential but fell incredibly flat. There are definitely other better cozy management sims. Also, there is genuinely not much else to do. There are no small mini games and the tasks they have u do is spend money to get more money. It would be cool if we could go on the expedition and collect the materials ourselves. The only interesting things in this game is the design and character customization.

This game is just what I hoped it would be when I saw it on the upcoming games list.

The art style is cozy and appealing and almost reminds me of animal crossing with how cute it is. The controls feel nice there’s not much to it and the UI is simple and unobtrusive. Sometimes I fat finger stuff like my alchemy station or a villager but I think that’s just me.

The tiny fairy aesthetic in all the furniture and buildings is amazingly cute! Like the fountain that pours out big droplets of water or the resources being small pebbles and spools of thread. Big fan of the Ghibli film Arriete so this scratches that itch so well.

My favorite aspect is how short and concise the gameplay is. You hop on for a few minutes, start an exploration mission, then you just check out the market, decorate a little, and enjoy the cute village you’ve slowly grown. Explorations take like half an hour maximum so far and that is so refreshing compared to irl wait times in other games. It’s a game I can easily play throughout the day without feeling held back arbitrarily by really long timers.

There have been a few visual bugs such as the crow critter looping it’s animation a few times after tapping it, but that’s to be expected for a game that just came out. All in all lovely game I can’t wait to see where it goes from here!

I love being able to customize things so much and almost everything is perfect. My biggest critique is the thorns obstacles in the minigame. They are too long or a double jump is too short but they are nearly impossible to ever clear. I think I’ve succeeded in jumping them about 5 times at most. I think if they were shortened just a bit it would help! Other than that I really love the game as a whole. Maybe even more than pocket love. Also I will say the emotes may cost just a bit too many gems for what it’s worth. Plus I wish we could have multiple accessories. I wish they could have earrings and a beard for instance. Keep up the great work!

I’ve played a lot of games of yours through the years, and when I was younger I was really into KleptoCats and KleptoCorns, and then of course Clawbert. But this game I just find really fun and entertaining, and the fairies are sooo cute. Not sure why the big cat needed to be there, but I still love’em. Though, I have one problem, and that is how long you have to wait for the expedition to be done, and that you don’t get more stuff when you send two fairies out. Like one hour is already a lot, but when you buy a new map, FOUR HOURS?? That’s wayyy too long. And I know there’s a watch ad or gems option, but I feel like overall, it’s a good game, and it’s a 9/10 for me!

I love the game, it’s super cute and I love making my own characters. However, they occasionally end up under the map. While it can be fixed by restarting FairyVillage , can you still fix this?

i’ve been a fan of hyper beard’s games for years, and this game is why! the thought put into the games are so evident. this game is so cutesy, and i love the objective to collect every seasonal item! simple cozy game, but very addicting.

(edit) As i’ve been playing, i’ve been noticing more ways this game could be great. For example, I think an optional online feature would be so fun! being able to see other people’s villages, trade resources with eachother, and have our thumblings visit friends’ villages would be so adorable! And maybe along with that, it’d be fun to open a more competitive side of the player and have the villager cats/whatever they’re called/ companions be ranked among other players and have them battle or something.

I’ve just downloaded and I’m a bit disappointed I thought I’d get to customize my own fairy and name it, but I can only customize the villagers clothing and such. I really wanted my own character but the game is cute and entertaining I just hope they add character customizations.

i really like this game! the art style is adorable and currency feel quite balanced. there are ads but they are completely optional and do not obstruct the game-play at all. i’ve played this every day since it came out. the decor and clothes are really cute, and there are so many customization options i feel like i’ll never run out of ideas. however, i have only been playing for a week or so, and i already have unlocked all 5 buildings and room. no problem for now, except i only have one empty room left and i know you can get up to 30 villagers. i want to personalize everyone their own room, or at least have some feature to prevent how crowded it’s going to get. maybe if the villages could exist outside of a room and walk around town? or if there were more building or stories to unlock. otherwise, i feel like i’ve almost run out of stuff to do. i love the decor aspect but i like to customize a room to fit my little fairy’s personality. not have them share such a small area. it’s a small issue that i have, but overall the game is exactly what i wanted. hopefully the game will grow as it improves xx

Preordered FairyVillage about a month to two months ago, very cute! I love how you can interact with the characters!! But I don’t like how there’s barely anything to do with the characters or game, you should add side quests or mini games with it. Just a suggestion though! I don’t know if I got the full game as I preordered the game but I’ll see tomorrow when it’s fully released. Love the game tho! Very good details! Very cute also!!

I honestly really enjoy the game so far, I’ve been playing it since it came out! The aesthetic is super cute, the outfits are fun too.
If you don’t mind watching ads you can get pretty good rewards from them, I don’t mind watching the ads but I do wish there was easier ways to get crystals. But I truly can’t even complain, this game is super cozy and fun to just turn your brain off and just have a cute little fairy village!

It’s really cute and I love this game! I really suggest it but it has this glitch I can’t get out of, it keeps trying to get me to buy this like machine thing you get in the beginning of the game, I’ve exited out and rejoined but it keeps doing this and I already have the machine in my house so I can’t drag anything over, It’s really sad because I love my villagers :( Please make sure to fix this glitch! But glitches are expected with new games so it okay :)

The game is wonderful and I love the art style used to make this! But I do have a few things to mention: firstly, I’d like to have more to do. Yes this game is very fun but just sitting and waiting gets boring after a while and I don’t want this game to be boring and I delete it. Maybe add ways to play with other people? Let us choose shapes or designs of houses, like an underground house or a floating house. Let us explore or follow our fairies on expeditions, I think you could make so many fun mini games while they go find stuff! Maybe an adventure type thing or a spot the object type game. Anything goes as long as it’s something fun! One final bug I found however, when I went to customize my Thumblings, I clicked on one of my fairies and the screen slid down under the map and showed a white background with my Fairy just standing in the void. She was also standing next to one of my fairies currently on an expedition so I shouldn’t be able to see them. I think she somehow teleported under the map somehow since I didn’t select her to go on an expedition but I can’t find her in my village either so she might be stuck since I can’t scroll down the screen to find her. Other than that this game is wonderful! Can’t wait for the rest of the updates to be finished! Keep up the great work game creators💛

Very cute, my partner and I love this game. The animation is adorable and we love to be able to customize and rename the characters, as well as decorate and expand on the village.

Some things we wish were available:

-You run out of things to do pretty quickly. There is the mini game with the cat (I haven’t unlocked much yet), but it would be nice to even come WITH the fairies on their expeditions or do other activities that aren’t just mini-games.

-It would be nice to befriend other players and visit their village, gift items to them, and do small activities or challenges together. I would even pay for this feature if it were available.

-Be able to place furniture and decor items OUTSIDE the houses, and expand your houses underground.

-Have recipes you can make, a shop to sell treasures or cooked food at, a goal to work towards such as expanding territory of your village (and maybe even different biomes such as seen in different expedition maps).

Overall I love this game and can’t wait to see how it develops over time.

This game has quickly become my most used app on my phone, it’s actually quite concerning haha. It is so so nice to just play while watching a show or listening to music or during my breaks at work. It’s now one of my favorite ways to destress. I love dressing up all the fairies like the people in my life and decorating the houses (by the way, I wanted to ask Hyper, is five houses the limit?) and the art style is so pleasant. There is such a variety on everything, from the different features and hairstyles a character can have to all the different kinds of decorations (I really love all the fall/Halloween themed things available right now), and it keeps me wanting to play more so I can unlock more maps and see just how many options I can get. Typically, I like games with storylines, but it’s actually been a really nice change of pace to just play a game where my biggest concern is where I’m going to place a couch. Of course, it helps that I don’t mind watching ads as this is a pretty ad-heavy/reliant game (only if you want to get things faster. You choose when you watch the ads, it doesn’t randomly show them). If you are impatient or have an adversity towards ads, this game probably isn’t for you unfortunately. Other than that, I feel like there are no issues with this game whatsoever (and the ads aren’t even a problem for me), so five stars from me!!

This game is seriously the cutest! I love the little adventures and dressing everyone up in their outfits. A perfect cozy, witchy, forest hermit game. I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for months and it’s everything I was hoping for.

A little thing to the creators and I know it just dropped not even a week ago, but the mini game with my guardian is actually kinda hard. You have to jump at the perfect time to get completely across so I haven’t gotten very far when I play it, so I’m currently only doing it to make my guardian happy. For a cozy style game, I’m just hoping for it to be a little more forgiving 😊

I’ve been playing the is game for about 8 days (I know not a lot) and overall I love it! but here are a few things I would change. 1. If you could, please make a shop that you can sell to! I have so many duplicates of clothing and furniture. 2. Make different collection items from the critters book, there again I have SO MANY DUPLICATES!!! 3. More games that you could buy for your guardian, I’d also like the guardian guy to come a little more often. 4. I have a glitch when ever I tap on crowkins they spin, disappear, spin and then disappear for a final time, I personally think it’s funny, but I’m scared that it will mess with my game in the future. 5. I would LOVE it if we could place stuff outside the houses! 6. More accessory slots (I would like to where my arrows and cloak. And 7. Please make it so that we can also change colors of clothing and or furniture. These are my recommendations to make the game a little more enjoyable, I hope you take some of my ideas into consideration!!!! Thank you I love your games! 🐦‍⬛🏹🌷

This is the best game this company has put out so far. I love the cuteness of all the decorations and attire. I also love how the game changes with time of day like in Pocket Love. Dressing up the characters is fun and gives me all the cozy, cottage core feels.

There is one thing I don’t understand though: why are some furniture proportioned appropriately and some overly tiny? Chairs, for example: a recliner will be half the size of the floor you are on, but if you look at the dining chairs, they are absolutely tiny compared to everything else, including tables.

Overall, amazing game, I will give them time to iron out the bugs and glitches. Oh, and maybe cloud save one day, Hyperbeard?? (I’m begging you)

So far there’s nothing bad about with the game. The atmosphere is cozy and it gives out that fairy, cottage vibe that I really like. The artstyles are so cute and everything is so detailed. However since it’s just been released, there’s not much to do and not much to buy in the shop. The gameplay was not what I expected but I still love it nonetheless. I suggest adding more housing items, like not furniture, but items for houses yk 😭 I wish there are more fantasy items and more hairstyles too. The hairs are so boring :(( And add a minigame just like in pocket love.
Overall, I fw this game, it’s worth the wait since summer lol. It helps me making au for my oc and imagine them living together. If you’re a cottagecore / fairycore lover I highly recommend. Definitely the best Hyperbeard game 💗🔥

I personally am not all to bothered by all the adds. They're annoying, but I think I'm a little desensitized at this point.
Fairy Village is SO cute. I haven't really had any issues with it, and when there are issues, I just remembered that the game literally just came out, and also none of the "glitching" I've encountered has actually messed up the gameplay.
(Occasionally going between sections- sometimes it gets a little stuck on the guardian screen but I just have to click out of it again and it's fine, the house editing is a little annoying- wall hanging items will load in underneath another item or I'll accidentally move an item that I didn't intend to)
Overall I really love the game. It's cute and laid back, and I've played it every day since it came out. 💚💚

i’m a mobile app connoisseur and this is already the best game i’ve ever played. i’ve only had it for one day but i love it so much. it is so adorable and relaxing, i love the variety in customization options for your fairies AND your kitty (however i would love to be able to change their fur to match my kitty in real life). the art is perfect, and i love the extra critter-collecting function to make the game a little more interactive while you wait for explorations to return :) also idk if it’s just me (i opted out of ad tracking) but the ads i get when watching for extra gems are always like very normal and appropriate, ie apps for kids that are educational and cute. it’s very refreshing compared to the very strange and abrasive ads most mobile apps host! it’s a small thing but it really just adds to how nice this game experience is! 🍀🌷🧚‍♀️

I know when you decorate your village that there are tabs separating furniture, wall items, wallpaper, and roofing, but I wish there were tabs for the separate event/expedition items. This way, it would easier to look for a certain item since I know it's from a particular map. I would also suggest the possibility of adding a feature that saves your village blueprints, so you can easily switch designs you already made without needing to recreate them. It would especially be nice for when the seasons change and holidays come and go! Other than that, I love the GUI and character designs!

been playing this for a couple of days and i love everything that’s featured in the gameplay, one thing i’d add would be a selling option for clothing and furniture. over the course of playing ive gotten several duplicate items, items i won’t use, or items ive bought then realized i didnt need. if there was an option to sell i feel like it would cause less clutter in the inventory, especially when you’re looking for a specific item. that’s all i have to add but again, the game is coming together very nicely and i love it so far!!

This game is really fun and cute!! I do have a few suggestions that i’ve seen other people agree with. 1st) Adding more houses or more rooms to the houses. I have so much extra furniture and nowhere to place it 😢(I do like the idea of adding underground rooms). 2nd) Adding more mini games with the cat!! i only have 1 right now but having multiple to choose from would be amazing! 3rd) Being able to place things outside the house!! I would love to decorate around the houses or even put lights on the roofs! would be really cute!! ALSO with the recycling station if it would show how many of the items you have it would make things SO much easier when trying to get rid of duplicates!! My biggest concern is the amount of housing/ rooms for sure!!! Thank you for reading and taking my suggestions into consideration! I preordered the game and I’ve been suuuper obsessed with it, it’s so cute and fun! I hope some more updates come out soon like more slots for more houses cuz I already reached the max and some more mini games to play! It would also be nice to be able to place items outside of the actual buildings for stands and stuff. I waited for this game to come out. So far I absolutely love it! Only suggestions I have are: 1. Let us make our own fairy in the beginning! 2. More facial accessory slots! (I want to be able to wear multiple things) 3. More hair colors! (Longer hair) <3 4. Let us place items outside our house on the ground! (I want my scarecrow outside) 5. Let us decorate the attic! <3 6. More bird anything. Why? I like birds lol

Most of this game is waiting, but in an enjoyable way. There’s a lot of customization and unlike other games you can get the currency from doing missions. You don’t have to constantly throw your money to waste. I know this game is new and that might change, but for now it’s just a relatively simple and cute game that doesn’t require a lot of effort. I recommend it to anyone who likes simple games that you don’t have to be on 24/7 to enjoy

I love this game so much but I am experiencing glitches. After hours of non-stop playing, now whenever I attempt to place down an item it freezes and kicks me out of the game, please fix this I nees to keep playing 🙏🏼😭 PLEASE

This game is adorable! I love it so much, the characters are so cute and the game is well designed, but it’s just either I am stupid or I have no idea what to do after we build our house and the characters are done talking. I would love for some feedback to tell me what I can do, but if your looking to by this game then you should it’s so cute and well designed. I waited a while for it to come out so I was very excited. So if I could have your feedback and tell me what to do that would be great lol sorry for this, bye!

This game functions a lot like an improved version of Pocket Love, in the sense that the game boils down to decorating houses and dressing up characters, but there's a little more to do.

However, it could be improved, but then again, it's only been out for a day, so maybe there are plans for new updates soon.

Maybe some mini games would be nice, since Hyperbeard kinda struggles a little with games that don't have a lot to do, so I think a couple mini games will do a lot for this game.

If you like cute art styles, house decorating, etc, this game is totally for you!! Even though I haven’t played the whole game, it’s pretty fun and I haven’t encountered any glitches yet! Love that you can name your town and customize your villagers, it’s also very interesting that it’s tiny little people! I definitely recommend downloading it, because it’s a very good game!

Love this game, it's really funny how the nomis (I think that's how you spell it) were holding one of them by there hands and the bird kept flaping his little wings very adorable💗✨,and the best part is the characters they look sooo cute but love how the fact one of them were named cutewing very adorable as well:3, and also perfect for people who love natural and fairy like things✨🧚‍♀️💅💗💗

This is by far one of the cutest and simplest games I’ve stumbled upon! I’ve been waiting for it to come out for a while and now that it is finally here and I’m playing it, it was definitely worth the wait!
10/10 would recommend if you’re into cozy games!

I’ve only been playing for a little bit now and I can already tell it’s my new favorite thing. As a mom of 4 I have allot of chaos constantly, this is a little piece of late night relaxing comfort and space I feel in control of.

Wow. To start off, this game is so cute and mobile friendly, which is great for me. Me and my sister love playing this, and the best part is designing the Thumblings outfits. One suggestion, you should add a lavender color hair, because I feel like it would match with a lot of outfits, and look very cute. Also, when will there be more Thumblings? I have enough room to add more but only 2 have arrived. Overall, this game is easy to play, fun to use, and is very cute and satisfying, but if you could add those suggestions, it would be even better. Thanks for reading my review!

It’s such a cute game! I have most of the HyperBeard games and I love them all! I’ve had this game prebought for a while and it just downloaded today, and I can’t stop playing! Can’t wait for the next game

I absolutely love the game so far! The creator did a wonderful job with the details. I love the fairy theme and the cute fairy decor. I love that you can change the fairy outfits and the theme of each house. It’s absolutely adorable and a very calming relaxing game. Calms my anxiety and I love it.

It’s so cute!! And very addicting I can’t wait it see what else they have in store for the game!! It would be nice to see more outfits and deco in the game, 10/10 would 100% recommend 🤩🤩

i already love hyperbeard games, ive been looking foward to this for a few months as i enjoy their other games as well. for it being just released, the gameplay is smooth and the graphics are lovely, haven’t encountered any bugs. as for the game play, i love it. you get to decorate little houses, i love the different roof styles and the variety of decorations, i havent got bored of collecting coins and gathering items to put cute little things in my villagers houses. as well as all the villager outfits and hairstyles, i always love character customization in games, and this one satisfies me. highly recommend for cottage core type players.

So, I had originally found out about this game because I have all of the hyperbeard games, and it just released, so, there are a couple things I have to say, first of all, the characters are so cute! i love the art style and what you can do in the game, there are a lots of acitivities from dressing characters, decorating houses and lots more. What the cons are, since it’s released there are a lot of glitches but I’m not expecting the game to be perfect, however, I do think this game is so awesome and you should definitely download it! It’s really cute and I can play for about an hour straight!! That’s all, bye!!

I found this cute lil game a few weeks ago and fell in love with it! As a mother, it’s hard for me to find hobbies or things that I enjoy and this game is easy to keep up with and I love that you don’t have to spend real money to excel. I love that you can watch ads to speed up progress in expeditions or to refresh pages or get free items. It’s really awesome how easy this game is to play, how you have control over little details of houses and the fairies themselves and how you can’t excel too quickly! Please don’t change that!! It’s so hard to find little games that you don’t have to spend real money on to get anywhere in the game. Everything about this game is enjoyable and downright adorable. I can’t wait to see what future updates will bring to the game!
