Best Game Ever!

This game is the best game I’ve ever played! I was hooked as soon as I started and loved every second of it from beginning to end. I especially loved the strategy and mysteries included into the game. The choices I could make made me feel like I was actually in the position of King Eryk, all the emotions he felt I felt. However what I most loved was the ending. It surprised me and made me laugh until my lungs hurt. I greatly recommend it for anyone who loves strategy games. It makes you think about every possibility, while also allowing you to follow a magnificent story.

Stop leaving bad reviews because it’s “not free”

I think it’s charming, the art style is great. I like that your choices will affect the future but need materials to do some, adds some “spend wisely to the game” again stop leaving bad reviews because it’s not free, this is a demo and it has the “purchase full game” on the title screen.

Forced to make a new game -1

I’ve never heard about this game before it just looked like a great game so I preordered it and then I loved the trial so much I bought the full game my only complaint is that I am playing the game and you can choose who to give money to or upgrade your army well I can choose not to pay the witch and the general and I am still at -1 so I can’t continue the game so I think I am forced to start the game over even though I have made a lot of progress in the game so far sad and dissapointing not sure if game is intended like that.

By

Impressive

I must say that I’m entertained so far! I love the choices and consequences type game play and it really looks worth the price of purchase!

Game Stopping Glitch Level 47

The game is amazing to view, and story well written…..however, level 47 a man in a white shirt and blue pants will approach your king to speak. Than nothing happens. No one will speak and they just freeze. You cannot click to the map, allies or even options.

Thumbs up, Your Grace.

Just spent about 3 minutes thumbs’ downing the reviews of “this game is free until… blah blah blah”. Sadly no, the game isn’t free until you’re choking on ads, and using microtrans to cheese! Maybe try CR??

By

Well worth the $4

Love the story and mechanics looking to see what they can do with this with updates!

By

I think the Game Center achievements are bugged

Great game would be 5 stars but I think the Game Center achievements are bugged, they aren’t popping when I do them nor when I complete the game

By

For a mobile game, it’s stellar

Very in depth, and a very fun storyline, I have a lot of hope for this game, it looks like it has massive potential.

By

Standing ovation

Never played a more captivating mobile game, looking forward to the sequel

By

A great game about tough choices

A challenging game based around a simple mechanic of saying yes or no to the subject of your kingdom. Very well made!

By

Best story game on a phone hands dow

The story of the game is so well done and the game play is really fun I wish there was more

By

I love it

I really love this game just hope the full game is free I’m broke I have no money

By

Bait & Switch

Loved the pixelated artwork: top-notch. Enjoyable gameplay interactions. Then the usual lie: pay for full game. Would have done so if the developer had been up-front in the game description. It is the principle of the matter. Will never bother with any future releases from this developer.

By

Great game

I really like the game; I just wish it were free and not limited to the trial.

By

Boring

Old style adventure game. Not intuitive so just clicking on stuff to see what happens. Very silly and boring. Can believe people still play this stuff.

By

I’ll never recover

The story was so well written I was literally sobbing.

By

Amazing

One of the best games I’ve ever played

By

Need more languages

I need vietnamese so that I can buy it

By

I remember when it was on Xbox

This Xbox series X/S in 2018 to2021 this game was goood

By

unfortunate

The games great, an amazing lore rich side scroller, something that other mobile developers should learn from. No need for fancy voice acting when you can read the scripts yourself. But just like everyone else has said it’d disappointing to see that the game costs money only after you play it, but it’s worth it. I haven’t bought the game but I’m tempted because the games refined, and structured very well. All I can say to a dev if you happen to read this is take the feedback from people who played the trials then, Revamp the game and make it cost money outright from the beginning.. Because being blue balled after the download it crazy, but also I couldn’t stand to think of what this game would be like if it contained ads.

By

Great Story

Games like this, so concerned with administration, usually bore me, and I very nearly avoided trying it out. After doing so, however, I bought the game.

The story and characters are excellent, and the Slavic folklore makes it feel like it has real roots. You have to make difficult decisions that affect both your kingdom and your family (whom you actually come to care about). It is very difficult to win, but going back and trying something else out satisfies your curiosity about what turn the story would take if you made a different decision.

By

Worth every cent

I love how long the free trial is, it gives you enough gameplay to really know what the game is about. The decision making really affects you down the road and you have to make tough choices which I love. The scenery is beautiful as well as the story and music. You can choose many paths and decide what kind of king you will be. 10/10 game, I am going to start a new game to experience this wonderful game once again. GET THIS GAME!

By

Exciting

I see the complaints about not realizing it’s a paid game until after you download it. Other than that it’s quite an amazing game. Very entertaining and addicting at times. I completed much faster than I should have because now I’m craving more. I usually don’t leave reviews and I find myself quite picky with mobile games but this one is a must buy!

By

Thoroughly enjoyable challenge

This game has hard choices. You’ll get some things wrong. But throughout, you’ll be graced by a beautiful experience—the art, sound design, character development, and story are all incredibly well-done and will leave you hungry for more.

Y’all did such a good job with this, and it’s worth every penny.

By

Fun game, Would Recommend!

Very fun game, very innovative. The story kept my on my toes and is very interesting, only down side is that the game is not free. Overall, would 110% recommend and would play again.

By

Bedtime Bliss

Every night before I doze off this is the perfect way to get cozy and imagine how tough it would be to run a kingdom. Makes me snooze and appreciate life, love the pixel art and simple gameplay give it 5/5 Steins of Ale

By

Good game

Very linear. I made horrible choices forgot to upgrade my castle and had the best ending and an heir. And two kids and wife survived. More of a click to reveal story than a game. 0 replay-ability. And since the devs used noodlecake as publisher. Any feedback we leave here will just be ignored.

By

Really good game just one problem

I love playing but i came back one day and it says i have to buy the full game again after i already did??

By

Bait and switch

Downloaded for the free game, expecting ads and whatnot. Everyone has bills to pay and I don’t mind that. But as soon as you open the game, you find out you weren’t downloading a free game, it’s $5.
Based on other reviews, it might be worth that $5. I just don’t appreciate downloading one thing and it’s something else entirely.

By

Awesome

I played this game on PC and it’s great to see it on the mobile. Amazing story and love the dynamics just wish there was more DLCs or some add ons to make things interesting

By

Good game but not worth it.

It’s a really fun game but you start with the same scenario every time. It was fun though. U beat it on my third try and then I just don’t know what to do now

By

Great however

Great game I put that on everything however I wish there was backbone controller support for this game is there anyway to make that happen??

By

Wow. I’m amazed.

I bought the game. Considering it’s only a few bucks I feel like it’s very much worth it. The free story cuts off right before your eldest daughter’s wedding, but guys let me tell you the story gets into Game of Thrones territory. The mechanics make you actually make decisions that affect the story and gameplay, not false choices that all funnel to the same ending. And it’s a good story! I literally had tears in my eyes when the eldest daughter sends you the present…
Graphics are stylistic and I personally find it appealing. My only critique is to make As, the middle daughter, have a different colored speech text because mustard yellow on black requires a little squinting.
Best mobile game I’ve played in a long time. I’ll be replaying to make different choices and if you release more content for the game in the future I’d definitely be interested in playing more. Great job guys!

MORE!

This game was amazing the pacing, the choices the dialogue, the story, the art. My one and only complaint is that there wasn’t more, I would’ve loved to see some development with the heir or the option to make your second daughter a general or heir after teaching her swordsmanship. I’d love to see this game developed further with either more conflict for the kingdom or rather instead of the defense Davern goes on the offense against other kingdoms, the map feature was good but I’d like to see it develop more or have changes as the game progresses. All in all an amazing game and an amazing experience, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to see more!

By

BEST GAME EVER

This game is the best game I have EVER played! I hope it gets a much larger audience because everything about it is PERFECT and AMAZING!! The art style, the story, the script! Everything about it is just so phenomenal. It’s so captivating and you can literally can play for hours without stopping because it’s THAT good. I wish buying the full game was so much more money because the creators really do earn because this is incredible!!! Hope to see new things coming to the game soon!!

Game of Thrones as a game

I love this game! It’s very challenging, but so far feels like you are about to lose or fail but are always somehow able to scrape by. This game totally reminds me of Game of Thrones. If you are a fan of that show, then you’ll love this game! The game gets heavy at times with many difficult decisions and situations that can be quite heart wrenching. Just like game of thrones has that on-edge ‘just barely scraping by’ feeling (yet somehow succeeding), this game matches it.

Fantastic job on this game!

By

Fun and engaging!

I started this game looking to kill an hour, but WOW was I sucked in. I normally don’t like story based games but this was so charming, fun, and engaging I just couldn’t help it. As the game progressed, I stopped playing for “the game”, but just to see what happened in the story. So worth the full game purchase, hours of replayability, you won’t be disappointed

By

Very captivating storyline!

Honestly at first I didn’t know I was going to like this game due to the graphics… but once I got into the storyline I knew I had to purchase the full game!

SPOILER ALERT

Honestly, the betrayal made me think the daughter might’ve been better off with the barbarian instead of the prince. Ildo’s cruel!

By

Great game but

I really enjoy the game the only issue I have is that you can’t solve the tile puzzle on mobile. I tried everything and it won’t work, just to make sure I was doing it right I looked up videos and I was.

By

5 bucks well spent

Had a blast with multiple playthroughs, trying to see all I could. Hope for Yes, Your Grace 2! Loved it and the format has potential for LOTS of fun additions.

By

Good game

At this time my game won’t load when I start it up please fix the problem

By

I never write reviews

I never write reviews but I had to for this game. The quality of the writing and the choices is so genuinely impressive. I truly hope that games like this become more common. This was incredible and so well done. You can absolutely tell how much the game developers cared about this game and how hard they worked. Seriously nothing but praise for this amazing work of creativity and dedication.

I Demand You Return To Me My Lorsulia

Played this game religiously for the entire day and did not sleep until I finished! WORTH IT!!

Seriously, I’m not the type to buy a game after a demo but this one had me hooked. The gameplay and strategic elements, and the various characters were so addicting! (Loved the playful and naive Cedani, and I kneeew I saw something in Asalia, HAHA!!!)

The only major problem I had with the game was that the decisions available to me were unclear. For one, I didn’t know I could’ve used the fireworks instead of my witch. Man. I didn’t have to sacrifice her, did I? And for the siege, I thought I had to spread my supplies out over the three days, not two. I know it wouldn’t have made much of a difference, but I still wish I could’ve fed those villagers. Those extra supplies I worked so hard for were wasted :(

There was also the glitch with the task / gem icon at one point, and I spoke to Cedani and the witch (and clicked every object in the room) over two dozen times. Got a bit frustrated there.

Otherwise, as another review has mentioned, the game definitely feels like it’s being forced into one end—the personal aspect isn’t really there. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the story. I just wish I DIDN’T HAVE TO SEND MY LORSULIA OFF TO THAT DIMWIT IVO!!!!

Fated

*spoilers*

This is more like a story than a choice game. Two third of the story is controlled. The last third of the story is basically pass or fail. It gives a very good illusion of resource management and that you have choices, but ultimately, most decisions and outcome is already chosen for you.

I think there’s two big ways this game could be improve on. One, having Radavian’s prince as an option for the eldest daughter (instead of marrying Ivo). It would be neat to actually fulfilled the long forgotten promise and add a mystical air to the world. This would also free up one third of the story to having choices instead of being controlled.

Second, actually allow resources to impact the game outcome. For example, having more army survive the first war will leave more army for the next. Instead of 20 army regardless. And also a chance to fail the first war. It makes managing resources and choosing path point less when it will end with the same result no matter what.

Overall, I love the art and the premises. I was just hoping for more of an interactive game play.

Amazing game

Absolutely loved the game and the story! I just happened to stumble upon the game and started playing it only to finish the entire game in one day. I really hope there could be a sequel where we could play as the son and see the challenges he faced or have new options for the original story. Really enjoyed the game and would happily play any game made by this company and replay this game to get different storylines.

By

Strongest story on mobile game

Usually I don’t write reviews on anything really. This game’s story was so strong and really well thought out, it kept me intrigued and honestly made me emotional at some some points. If this story were made into a movie I wouldn’t be surprised I believe it deserves to go that far.

By

Cute game

It’s a sweet game and has some empathy-inducing moments. If it was $3, I’d probably give it 4 stars. It feels a bit brief at the $5 price tag.

I think this game would benefit greatly if it gave you the option to continue playing with random events and battles after the main story. But that’s the thing, it’s more of a point-and-click novel than it is a video game. I just wish the novel was longer and brought a little more depth with the main character and other lords and ladies.
