I have never had a more frustrating experience with a company than I’ve had with Vay. This service is an absolute joke. The cars are unreliable, constantly breaking down or not starting at all, and when you need help, good luck getting through to customer service. Antonela, the representative I dealt with, was completely uninterested in actually solving my issue. It’s like they don’t care about their customers at all.
To make matters worse, Vay has slashed their service areas, now only covering high-tourist zones and leaving locals without any options. So much for being a company that serves the community—they’ve made it clear they only care about tourists. They even brag about their $4.9 million in funding, yet they can't fix their app, their fleet of cars, or offer any sort of reliable service. It's honestly embarrassing.
Oh, and let’s not forget that they pay their workers terribly, (confirmed by thier indeed job postings and disgruntled employees that have shared this with me) which probably explains the lack of effort and terrible service. I was stuck in a car that wouldn’t unlock for *eight hours* overnight, and of course, customer service didn’t answer the phone. It was a nightmare.
I’m never using Vay again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you enjoy wasting time, being stuck in a car that won’t unlock, and being ignored by customer service, then sure, give them a try. Otherwise, steer clear.

I recently used Vay to get home after my classes, besides all the hidden fees (the initial ride and then a random $25 payment) I received wrong information about where I can and cannot drop off the car. The app didn’t inform me where the nearest drop off location was to my house, so I ended up driving all the way back to school to leave the car. So what would have been a 15 min uber with a $7 charge was a $15 fee with an additional charge of $25 and an hour worth of driving around town. They don’t have an area in the app where you can see your order history or even past receipts- so I have no idea what I’m being charged for and customer service is impossible to reach.

Such a joke. I FINALLY got someone to answer the phone at Support who affirmed they only have 7 cars in circulation in the Las Vegas market. The agent suggested if I need a vehicle and one isn't available that I should keep trying throughout the day until one frees up. LOL they can't be serious. Cool in concept. But immensely unreliable. perhaps what bothered me the most was calling during business hours and getting a voicemail. why even offer a support line if you're not going to monitor it!?? incredibly disappointing experience. Deleting app right now.
