Makeup ASMR: Makeover Story Reviews

It’s definitely not worse makeup game but far from the best. While it offers more to do the the kids make up games it’s still very limited, your still contained to do things in pre-chosen areas. May biggest issue however with MakeupASMR is after downloading and playing it I started to randomly get virus like pop-up, both in and out of MakeupASMR .

I wanted to like this game. I like the medical care feature, like the ear cleaning and pimple popping, the works. But then I noticed that it’s mostly just makeup removal after 5 clients.

On top of all that, there’s an ad almost every 10 seconds to the point where I forget what I’m doing. Just… get rid of the ads!!!

this entire game is created out of stolen animations lifted/recreated poorly from other creators, all of the “levels” can be found on the internet mainly under SmileBam who originally created these, on top of the blatant lack of quality and lack of gameplay that has gotten lazier as more levels have been put out, i don’t recommend playing this game LET ALONE buying a subscription from them

This game is good but it’s not like in the ads if you want the satisfaction of scraping stuff you have to pay 4$99cents one a week and you also have to pay for stuff like clothing but other than that it’s good

If you want to play an actual game where you don’t have to stop every 30 seconds to watch an ad, then don’t bother with this game! It’s kind of fun, but not worth it in my opinion. After I’m done writing this, I’m deleting the game off my iPad. It’s not worth the space

MakeupASMR randonly opens uo my browser and shows a fake website. I coukd consider a popup ad if only so. But it also says it's pasting something on that website from my pc. iOS and macOS can actually do that if i need them to, but MakeupASMR itself does that and its terrifying.

I totally recommend this game to everyone it’s soooo entertaining and fun to play and I love it so much and I think you will love it as well

Throughout my childhood, I have avoided games like this. They always freaked me out and I found them gross, but this one is actually nice. You don't have to deal with bugs or maggots ever. It's just a simple skincare and makeover game. I appreciate it for being exactly what it's supposed to be.

Of course, I do still have a couple complaints. I find it a bit cringey to use recent media characters with different names (for example: the wednesday avatar, or better known as "Lisa" according to this game). I feel like those grow out of date fast and may make people leave the game. I also feel like there should be more people to make over. All I've seen is the wednesday girl, the mermaid princess, the fairy, the one that kind of looks like a kardashian, and the one black girl. And it just repeats as well. If I were to change anything about the game, I'd add more girls to make over.

Overall, this is a great game. I could play for hours and I don't mind the fact I can't hear anything (I actually don't like ASMR) or the ads. That's just how free mobile games work. As long as a game isn't pay to win, I'm happy. And this is definitely not pay to win. Thank you.

At first I thought this was one of those games that make the game look so fun and interesting then be totally different then I played for the first time and realized it’s the real deal on the adds it’s the exact same on the game i honestly recommend it to everyone who lives asmrs

I love this game, but there’s a slight problem too many ads this game is so fun I can play it all day. It tells you where to put your make up though. It says it’s for grown-ups, but still kind of childish. I really love this game I only gave a three star because of the ads, will earn money in the game to pay for the items that you would use on your customers or you can watch ads to get them. There’s only a couple things that you don’t have to watch an ad or pay money to get.

There is a certain amount of levels. I haven’t even had the game long and it ran out of levels. The ASMR is amazing but it started to just do the jewelry mini games over and over non stop. There is no perfect ASMR game in the whole world. Just give up already cause’ there never will be.

I wanna start off by saying, it’s a great game I would recommend it, BUT it has so many ads, and some of them are inappropriate. I just wanted to warn you guys to see if you would want the game.

I think this game was just fine. There were obviously ads but they never cut off any gameplay. However, the game feels repetitive. I’m ironically not one for ASMR, but this was ok, not too gross.
I don’t have anything I’d change, really, it’s just an iffy genre for me.

I personally think this game is great! The asmr is pretty good, better than other games. And the ads are barley minimal and are easy to handle unlike other games. The ads are exactly like the game and it is so satisfying and relaxing to play. It is very fun and enjoying and I always play it when I’m bored! Although, while I play the game they are lots of ads and lots of glitches so please fix that. But overall, it’s a good game !

This game is super relaxing and fun and there’s not that many ads which is great. It’s super satisfying and I love hiking work on different models instead of just doing the same one repeatedly but with different looks I recommend downloading this game if you haven’t.

It is a really fun games and all, but there are at least 2 ads per person that you can makeover, and majority of the time they are disgusting ads. I have tried looking into getting no ads but it was 4.99 a week at the cheapest and you can’t just buy no ads. The game is fun, just WAY to many gross ads.

I downloaded this game because I wanted to see if the adds were true, and they were, MOSTLY….. So in the add video I watched, (there are so many different ones) you got to take the piercings off the ears and squeeze the puss out of the ears, you got to pop pimples and shave faces, and the way they portrayed it, it just looked so smooth! But in reality, you had to click everything to get it to do stuff, it’s not just one click, then you can watch MakeupASMR do it. It starts to shave, then you have to click again to keep it going, and it’s slow, I mean SLOW. Now this is the part I’ve been waiting for for about a week, the game opening. Yep It’s the way the game opens. About 3 days after I downloaded it, I went to open it, and it loaded, but when it got to the last loading block, it just stopped. It just sat there. I tried closing out all my windows, getting on app again, nothing. I even shut down my iPad but nothing happened!! Please please read this before trying MakeupASMR , then maybe you can see for yourself, or make a different opinion. This was just how I thought of it.

Personally, I love this game. It’s extremely satisfying and somewhat calming. I saw many ads of this game so at one point I thought, “Hm, might as well just download it! Seems fun.” And I was mostly correct! The game is MOSTLY like the ads, the part of the game that isn’t like the ad is that it’s not AS smooth. It’s pretty smooth, but not as smooth as the ads have shown. Aside from that, it’s an awesome game! But, I have a complaint. There is WAY too many ads. For each person you get 3-6 ads as you work on the singular person. SINGLE PERSON. That is WAY too many ads and it gets extremely frustrating and annoying. I wouldn’t mind if if was 1-2 ads each 1-3 people, but 3-6 ads within one person? WAY too much. I request/suggest you lower all the ads. It’s horrible that theres so many ads to the point it could make someone angry. Otherwise, it’s a pretty great and satisfying app experience. But please lower the amount of ads you put in this game. It’s way too frustrating and annoying.

So basically you’re treating like a bunch of clients and like so satisfying I love the noises and I love the music in the background and I love adding the make up to. It’s really pretty I gotta say they made this game really good but only downside is that there’s kind of a bit too many ads but whatever besides that the game is really good five star review from me and anybody who loves make up or is trying to be a make up artist this game is for you or if you want to treat people that have like a bunch of problems on their face this game is for you you can do anything you want you should download it really good try it yourself 👍🏻😁👍🏻

This game is awesome! The graphics are perfect and the ads are actually truthful! Sure, there are A LOT of ads, but the ads aren’t so bad. To me, there aren’t many of them but it’s still just a bit annoying. The only thing that needs to be changed is the amount of ads compared to the other reviews. But other than that, this game is super fun and satisfying. Fixing up these horrible people’s feature. 😊

This is a very nice and fun game! There is a good amount of ads but it doesn’t bother me that much. But, I would like to change one thing about it. I don’t really get to do much. Anytime it’s something you would do in the ad, you CANT do in the game. All you do it tap/swipe and an animation does it for you. So, I would really like to start doing it myself instead of just watching an animation do it for me. But that’s really all I would like to be changed. Great game though.

Ok so the game is really fun and teaches you about makeup and stuff. But the only complaint I have is that the ads make it seem like you have to do it on your own and you get to choose what you do. But it’s not like that. The game just gives you the product and no matter where you put it it does it’s own thing. I wish it was more independent and you really got to choose what products to use and where to put them!

not even one round in as soon as I open MakeupASMR I got an ad and I thought there wouldn’t be more for a little while, well was I wrong I did one step ad and it kept repeating. As you can see from the title it has a lot of glitches and ads. The first time I was on the game my cousin showed me it and I thought it was cool so I downloaded it. I went all the way to level 25 or something like that but then it started glitching when I started the game. So I recommend it, but it will have a lot of ads and glitches.

This game is very good because it looks just like the adds. The only thing about it is that it is very repetitive for the mini games and only have what they show in the adds for the first few levels, then it’s all repeats from other games. All in all, good game but very repetitive.

This is insane! The ads are just ridiculous! Now I’m sure you read this on most reviews for games recently, but this game is insane! You get a 10-20 second ad after every step in the game. I’ve timed it and it’s literally every 5-20 seconds! SECONDS!!!!! Every 5-20 SECONDS you get a 10-20 second ad! Nuts!! And it’s not even worth it! You just put your finger where they tell you and the game does everything for you. It’s not like the ad for the game at all! It might be ok for little kids, maybe 4 to 10, I’d like to say. But, with that said, they’d have to know how to skip through ads and the parent would have to be ok with the (for lack of a better word) ronchy/inappropriate ads they show. This developer does NOT monitor the ads they’re allowing their game to promote to little kids. But don’t worry!!… You can pay for VIP which removes all ads for a small fee of $4.99/week!!! And that’s another thing…. You get around $400 for completing a client, BUT when it comes to clothing and accessories, you get one option to choose from or else you have to pay $600 for what you want! But don’t worry!!… there are some options that you can… you guessed it… watch another ad for!! So every face mask, shirt, jewelry, etc., you can either use the one boring option they give you, pay $600, watch another God forsaken ad, OR pay $4.99/week for the VIP options. This game is NOT worth it. Don’t waste your time.

In the add it said that I will do all the work but instead it’s step by step.i put 0 reviews on the game because when I do the ear, it told me in the add I will clean it myself, but instead it cleans it for me. it also told me that I had to scrape the dirt off its face. In the add it told me that it’s not like those original kid makeover games it’s like big kids but not for like step-by-step but you have to do it yourself and that’s what it said in the add. I will call this game mid it means lame. it’s not like you do the make up yourself it’s step-by-step and you gotta put it outside and inside but it told me to do it like I’ll do it myself but instead when I entered the game I had to do it all by step-by-step and I did not like it because it told me it’s for adults not for a little kids it’s supposed to be not like step-by-step. It’s supposed to be do it yourself and when I blend the concealer on the face, it told me where to put the concealer, and I thought I had to do it myself and put it on the way I wanted to be with the spots I wanted to be on the face. Instead of child I’ll give this a zero star review because this is supposed to be for adults not for little kids and this game is a lie if you watch the add you’ll see that it’s fake and it tells you you have to do it yourself but you don’t do it yourself step-by-step. that’s why our fake.

Its a great game really! I can sit down and play this for hours. Its way better then expected when it comes to these games, as when i was downloading it i didn't think i would have it for long. I normally delete these games in about a week, but its been about a month and i still really like this game! But i do have a few complaints. Even tho there are many ads, typically thats how free mobile games work, so I'm not complaining about that. At first there was a new stage every time, but now it keeps repeating itself, and using the same characters. I feel like there should be something new in the game instead of the same thing each time, but it is still pretty addicting. I also wish there could be new characters, i know there is 1 guy, and i think there should be more guys added. It was a pretty cool idea to add that mermaid one and elf character, but i think you should add more human characters, but thats just my opinion. Other than that tho, its a great game to play when your bored, i definitely recommend!

I think this is one of the best make up game you are going to find because the first reason is you can work on so many things it’s not just make up affection ears and belly buttons and armpits mermaid people say I was reading some of the reviews that there’s too many ads and yes they are ads but but I honestly in my opinion there’s not that many ads because there’s only like two ads during one client and honestly I’ve seen way worse I think this is literally one of the best make up game you’re going to find I love this game and if you don’t then don’t get it but I do I recommend this game if you’re 10 years older and like make up like my sisters were stealing my iPad for just playing this game I love this game my sister like this game we all love this game it’s so fun and relaxing so yeah if you don’t wanna get this game don’t get it but I love this game 💅💅💅💅

This game is actually really fun. The ASMR is really nice and I like how not all customers need a makeover or get ready for a party, etc. it’s also taking off the makeup , skincare routine, and more. It is perfect for car rides, plane, etc. But I have 2 things that bother me. First: the ads. The first level, (person) no ads, great! But when you get farther into the game, I really don’t like how the they overload you with the same add every level for a SINGLE PERSON. There’s like 3-6 ads for one person only. Please get rid of them, it really bugs me. Second: it kinda does some of the work for you, like the under eye pads, taking off stuff you know. But that’s fine ig. Lastly, for to e people thinking about downloading this, I recommend you don’t IF you are sensitive to somewjat “gross” things. Like basically it can be a bit disturbing when there are bee attacks, there is a HUGE lump on the eye. And for other things. But otherwise it’s a really good game!

When I first downloaded MakeupASMR I thought that it would be like one of those cool apps that don't lie to you in the adds..but I was wrong. First, I mean it's high quality, BUT it doesn't let you do all the work it's like one of those kid's apps that you just drag and drop the item and it applies itself like srsly why can't I just do it all myself I'm 10 like hello? Second thing the adds, just they have voiceover so you can clearly tell that the time you play MakeupASMR it you realize that you've just have been ripped off. Third, I would like to say, is that in the adds it says that it is like one of those kids games but for bigger kids, but really it is just like those kids games and nothing like how it was described in the adds. The rest I'm ok with. If there is any future updates on MakeupASMR being updated to be more like how it is in the adds, that would be great! But for now this is my current app review. This game is super good, it’s really addicting, and it has good asmr, there are good stories, and even celebrities like bella poarch, and Kim K. *I think, either that or they just look super similar* and it’s really a great game, but some improvements could be good for this game! I think that personally there should be more stories, with more backstory, such as, Kim K. Just broke up with a boyfriend, and she is super sad, and she calls you begging you to make her look beautiful again, and you should have the option to style the hair. Or doing a hair styling story. Another thing the game creators could have done was putting less adds. It’s really a good game. But after EVERY SINGLE and I am dead serious when I say this, but after every single client, there is an ad! And it bothers me because I just want to play the game, and it’s not just different adds, it’s the same one OVER and OVER and OVER again, *the ad is episode*.

MakeupASMR is nothing like the other apps. The other apps show you things that seem fun but when you download it and play it it’s obvious that that is not what you actually do. MakeupASMR I watched MakeupASMR and I downloaded it and I played it and I love it because it is exactly what they suggested it would be like. This is my favorite makeup/skincare app it is amazing! You definitely should have MakeupASMR if you have any brain disorders like ADHD or anxiety or socialization anxiety like I have all of those and I can already feel this helping me with my boredom without having to make actual human contact. It is a great app and I will continue to use this. Sometimes I just need a break from life and MakeupASMR is what I do. I love MakeupASMR!! But see MakeupASMR is not for little children who doubt about their body as this shows little kids they have to wear makeup and fit in to be beautiful but that is my one complaint.

So this game is the best but few things, you have to get cute things from adds Bur besides the adds I would really recommend people with sensory problems and ASMR people, this game there even is a Before and after. ♥️💗 But just some things it’s like going to run your battery down quick but don’t worry not that much. And you can do belly buttons ears, buy mosty face. But besides this I love this game and hope you do to!✅💜 ⚠️also parents there are some adds your kids can’t see⚠️ so if you want to delete MakeupASMR from that u can. I like this because when I do it calms me down and it is a nice little thing to like help you get good at makeup and take care of your face. But one thing I saw in a ad that you apply the makeup your self and so what I’m saying is that you don’t get to pick your character and that kind of makes me mad so that is why this not really a asmr game not a lot of sound that it said it would have so that is really my only problem. Yeah that is it really so I hope you can see that you can maybe change I recommend to download this if you get mad or you get like an asthma attack which I know someone that has these all the time so if that happens you can play this game but there is a lot of ads.

I rated this 5 stars so you could see it but overall it is maybe 2.5 or a 3.
First, this game is not like the ads which said that you could like do the makeup and blending and applying etc. In the game you couldn’t really apply the makeup by yourself unlike the ads which said that there would be no steps and you could do it all by yourself. Also, it said you could like pull stuff out of the ears or somthing which is why I downloaded the game(I don’t get discusted easily) but there was none of that in the game. In the game it didn’t let me go past level 4 and I really didn’t like that. Maybe if the dev’s make the game like the ads I will download it again.

It’s a wonderful app and keeps me very entertained! The sounds are just as expected and the story line with the different characters all make sense. I don’t think it’s as good as the ads but that’s how all ads are. They have characters that resemble people like Jenna Ortega and Kim Kardashian as well! The organization levels are very satisfying. If you get triggered easily by things with hygiene like blood, bugs, hair, and puss I wouldn’t recommend this game for you. So yes it’s a good app it’s about what you would expect nothing groundbreaking or brand new but nothing boring and unoriginal!

don’t you know that cleanup spot with I think I’m going over and over and over again who likes that part no one likes it stop doing that so why do you keep doing it? I’m all the way to 11 through 15 I’m I still have to do the cleanup part I wanna to do the make up, not the cleanup part and I hate it don’t get it it’s really annoying every single time I do the make up you have to watch your ad and then it will literally ask to not watch ad you still have to watch it like a minute later I love this game and all, but just stop with the ad stop with the clean up thing it’s really not a fun. It does not sound like asmr other than these cringe girls........ yeah I do not want to get this, so yeah thanks for reading it’s long.
