Exercise

When I signed up for this and paid, I answered the questions telling you that my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I was looking into chair exercises until I was able to move more. From the first these exercises were so hard that I could not do them. I have two total knee replacements and cannot do ones that I have to kneel. I have tried to see what you were doing and incorporate it to what I could do sitting. I am hoping to become more mobile, but I cannot do what you want me to do now or in the near future.

Not user friendly

I decided to try this program as I am 72 years old and due to disability I am unable to do most exercise programs.
The exercises provided are the only thing good about this program. I joined because
I was seduced by the offer of, if
I completed the first 30 days with no misses, my first month would be refunded. But, be aware that once you choose a time to excercise, you can’t change your mind. 5 minutes late and they count it as a skipped day and you have to wait 24 hours to open the next workout. Voila! They don’t have to honor their end of the bargain.
Added, there is no place on FitMe for contacting support. You have a question or complaint? Tough luck.
So, if none of that bothers you, go ahead! Personally I really wanted to find an exercise program that would work with me, not against.

Does not support more than 1 program

I bought the initial program for the 30 day workout. Because I‘m a senior, I bought chair yoga to supplement when my back was acting up. Basically, using yoga as a third day to stay active, but take a little break from the main program. FitMe makes you switch between programs and resets the other to the first day, so you have to do the first day workout and all subsequent workouts before you get back to where you left off. This is a terrible glitch. They should’ve let me know before I blew another $20. i have no choice but to only do one when I should be able to use both and pick up where I left off in the other.

Fitme

Just finished day one. A little too much for my knees which I said in the survey I had a problem with. I also wish they would do all the floor exercises at one time so I’m not up and down so much. Not easy for me with my aches and pains. All in all I finished the workout the best I can so I guess that’s a good thing. I just hope future days don’t continually get more difficult. I thought this was going to be a chair yoga app.

Just finished day three. Too many floor exercises and too many plank exercises. I am 63 with bad knees and back and I specified that so I don’t know why so many floor exercises. I thought I was signing up for a chair yoga challenge. Not happy.

Can’t find place to unsubscribe

I didn’t sign up for recurring monthly charges and can’t figure out how to stop them. Had to cancel card. The subscription (which I didn’t make) doesn’t show up on Apple subscriptions for easy cancellation and there’s no phone number.
The exercises were good. But I couldn’t eliminate my exercise mat and revert to just chair exercise. Apparently when you choose a program, you’re stuck with it.

Chair workouts

The workouts themselves are good. I just don’t think they’re taking into account a beginner’s muscle fatigue. Alternate upper and lower body so that the other part of the body has a little more time to heal, at least until the beginner gets a little stronger and more toned. Good workouts otherwise.

I say this as a one-time very in shape person who has experience in working out but is currently very out of shape.

62 yo sedentary woman

I have never been an active person so you can imagine starting an exercise program at this point is not easy. However this app chair yoga suits me perfectly. I’ve been doing the program for a little over a week and plan on staying with it at least until I don’t have to do a program modified to my decrepit self.
What I see available in some of the other tracks makes me think I might use FitMe for a long time

Day 1

I originally started with the slowest 10 minute workout, it went by too fast. I then changed to the gentle workout for 20 minutes, that was much better and I will do that one again tomorrow. I’m 68 years old and very out of shape. I’m looking forward to this!

Can't believe I'm going it

Wow, I was skeptical at first to even pay for this but I have to admit I feel like my granddaughter who says I did it when she feels so accomplished I did it and got through it and I really like it. It's not easy for me but I'm a type one diabetic and I need to do something and this was perfect for me.!

Senior Chair Yofa

I’ve tried other chair yoga apps, and this one is the absolute best! The exercises start out simple and very slowly increase a little bit. They are very doable and the example that is shown is very clear and easy to follow. I highly highly recommend this! It has absolutely got me motivated to be on a regular exercise program.

Some struggles.

These are excellent workouts for me and harder than I thought it would be. I guess I really am 70! I have difficulty with the floor exercises because of positional vertigo. Get very dizzy and nauseated. But I’m pushing through. I also wish that if you have to miss a day like Sunday, the streak didn’t start over. That was disappointing.

Senior plus injuries

Some exercises though easy are difficult for my husband and I who have shoulder back and knee injuries/surgeries. However, we do as much as we can and we are getting a bit more flexible with more range of motion. It’s slow but worth it. The sessions could be a little longer, maybe optional exercises at the end.

Work out

I enjoy these workouts. They’re much easier for me to do. Hopefully, I will see some good results by the end of this program thank you. I haven’t lost any weight but I do feel better after doing the exercises, which is good for me. I’ll work on losing the weight when I feel stronger. Thank you

Overall workout

I wasn’t sure about this but thought I would give it a shot. The exercises are easy and I can usually find the 15 minutes needed to complete the session. I love the stretches that you do. Of course I would like to lose inches and get stronger but if I can lose the tightness in my neck and loosen my back up I will be more than pleased.

Beginning is tough

I’m about to turn 73 and I am not the least bit flexible. Never have been. Most of the exercises in this beginning stage are OK but there is no way I can touch my elbow to my opposite knee in that crunch exercise. I don’t look anything like your model, or is it a simulated person? I am hoping that I get more flexible as time goes by. Basically a good chair exercise program for someone my age.

Downloading this app

So yes you do have to purchase stuff if you want full access however I’m doing the 30-day challenge and I repeat every day three times in a week and so doing it for thirty weeks is brilliant because so far I’ve burned over 100 kcals per week since I started. My 30-day challenge is free and I absolutely love FitMe and also it’s flexible to your schedule

SOOO much better than I thought

The first time I did these I thought they were too easy but I confess I felt a tiny bit sore (good work out sore, not injury sore!)

I had been doing exercises for older people (I’m 70). It was supposed to be arthritis friendly. About as friendly as having a frozen thrown at you! Sustained two minor injuries that meant no lower body work for two weeks. So, I joined Lazy Fit. Love it! And I have lost a couple of lbs!

Great for beginners…

Getting started is always the hard part. But, the ability to choose your level is very helpful. I only wish there was a way to sync your information between devices. I initially downloaded on my iPhone… But because it needed to charge, I then used my iPad. Unfortunately, what I did on the iPad will not reflect on the iPhone and it’s as if I never started. Otherwise, I like the programs and variety of exercises within.

Easy, Fast, & Challenging

OMG… soon turning 65. Out of shape and over weight and many failed attempts to find a daily work out I can do from home and one that will keep me wanting to come back every day.

The short workouts are perfect. About 12 minutes and super challenging at times and sometimes almost hard to finish but I know I can do it for 12 minutes. I will definitely improve over time one day at a time.
Great way to start my day!
Go me (-:

Work out review

It was great but very hard for this beginner but I am going to keep going, there were many things I couldn’t do exactly how they were to be done but I tried my best and did what I could, how I could and so now
I’m going to keep going so that I can get in better shape and health!!

Scam marketing and predatory practices. Lack of transparency. The workout is a good fit for some however this company is NOT transparent . Beware once you try the FREE 30 days you will be charged over $70 . There are similar products that do not practice deception. Beware

Started in January ($48/ month) slipped up and auto renewal February ($48) using PayPal so canceled thru that. But by end of February noticed such a change I tripped, now it’s $38 for 3 months. The tai chi is excellent, I’m 74.

I signed up for the one month 29.99 plan. Then they charged me each month following for 49.99. I tried to get in the app and I couldn’t find my user id and password. I emailed customer service as they have no live person to help you. They simply sent instructions for how to cancel once you are in the app and provided no support to get into the app. Now I have been charged $100 extra and they are still being rude about it. Warning: do not download this app whatsoever so you are not scammed like me. It’s one of these companies that makes it impossible to get out of a contract.

When I started this I saw nothing about automatic payments. At about day 24 they said I missed a day. I never missed a single day. I got no benefit from it. Then they hit me with a $49.99 charge that I couldn't get out of. You have to cancel to stop it. That is very hard to do. I'm still working through it.

Last July I downloaded what I *thought* was a free app. I have since discovered this has resulted in charges to my bank account. I do not want this to continue!!! Please inform me how to discontinue any association with this product.

I decided to try and bought a printable 1 month exercise routine. Never used it but planned to use it later sometime. Suddenly I was charged $49.99 USD which translated into $74 CAD. I caught the charge on day 1 and requested a refund right away as well as a cancellation of any further charges. They advised that once the payment is processed by them it is non refundable. I have asked them to show me where I signed up for monthly membership and they said that the initial charge was for a trial membership, which is a lie. These outfits are as bad as the Nigerian ones. Stay away.

Shocking experience. I enrolled for a month, but they cut me off after two weeks. I only wanted to try it for a month so maybe it was because I cancelled any further subscriptions, I don't know. When I tried to log on, it first told me my user name or password was wrong and then that they didn't have any record of my user name although they had been corresponding with me using that email address. Then, even though it appeared my address seemed to be the problem, they gave me a link to change my password, valid only for one hour which was sent in the middle of the night my time. I found the email too late to use it and I haven't heard from them since then. The programme wasn't that good so I should advise people to go elsewhere. I'm so glad I only wasted a month's money.

Didn't get as far as a workout. As soon as I saw that the amount I paid for the one week version was more than they said it was to be, I realized that FitMe was American, therefore USD. Even still, as I read further, having paid, I was inundated with 'Premium' as though they were pushing even more. I unsubscribed as best I could, and deleted all. Don't trust them.

You cannot unscribe. Trouble with passwords who do not work. There is nowhere in my google/paypal or creditcard any membership active. Custumerservice is zending me from the table to the wall and from the wall to the table. What a malafide business is this. I will change this review only when they help me to unscribe soon.

I tried FitMe didn’t like it but forgot to cancel they charged my account $49.99 for 30 days. I canceled immediately which was 4 days into the subscription timeline, I figured I would use it till the subscription ran out. However they shut it down and I lost my money and access to the program. I contacted them and they told me their terms are no refunds. I also asked if they would give me the 3 weeks they took. A big fat NO. Bottom line it’s a SCAM DON’T FALL FOR IT!!!!!!!!!

They run endless ads online saying that their chair yoga is now free. Free doesn’t mean that you have to pay for it. This is a fraud and has been reported to the FCC as such. Stay far away!
