I loved my old Panasonic app. It worked great. Stopped working with iOS 11 so I had to download this one. It looks like this one only works with newer cameras. I can only see two out of my five cameras. Going to ditch this one and see if I can find another generic app that works better
as noted on some other reviews It’s useless in playback mode. After hitting search there are spin dials to select date and time. there is a time slider bar that seems uncorralated to the video. These then cover controls like rewind or fast forward, pause and save.
Dear Panasonic App development team. Please be reasonable and the least you can do is provide all the basic functions that an IP camera has. Even other camera manufacturers much smaller than Panasonic are far ahead in App development. Till then you only deserve 2 stars or less.
God only knows when you will update iPRO.
It's ok and better than nothing. I wish there was sound. I can't hear anything from my WV-SW172 and that is an important feature of my cameras.
When I updated to the newest version in Nov 2020 the time selection for playback is out off alignment. The scrolls do not align with the times that are being set. Seems they are off by 10. 0800 is 1800. You need to ignore the numbers on the scrolls and just look at what is being set for what will be sent to recorder for retrieval. And when using iPhone the AM and PM selectors don’t show up in portrait mode. You need to turn phone to see all 4 options. That took a while to figure out. Better testing and documentation is needed to make iPRO more useable.
New update please for this application
This works nicely for i-pro cameras, although iPRO hasn't been updated for a couple years. I use the Milestone XProtect recording server and its mobile app most the time, and this Panasonic app is good as a backup for direct access to the cameras.
I have nine WV-S2110 Panasonic cameras and all work flawlessly with iPRO. I will for few more months before giving 5 stars! So far so good!
We have old discontinued WV NS202 A cameras. Rather than figure out tempting into a computer browser iPRO configured perfectly to use the equipment we have. Thank you Panasonic.
My wifi and 300A recorder are on the same subnet but I am unable to view or control anything. I did get a message that the terminal was connected (iPhone6).
Upgraded my iPhone to iOS 17.7 and then immediately to iOS 18.0. After doing so I could no longer connect to my two I-Pro NVRs and see my cameras. After some troubleshooting I deleted my NVRs and went through the registration process again for each NVR. Everything is now working fine again - a great app. Had the same issue on my iPad when upgrading to iPadOS 17.7.
