I am quite old and age has taken away the easy use of my fingers. Apple has an annoying built-in voice recognition capability that stops after a number of sentences.
I picked AINoteTaker on a whim a couple of days ago, not expeacting much, but curious. It is so comprehensive and intuitive and getting it installed was easy.
The alterations possible to the recorded voice are extensive. Copying is easy. Sharing is easy. All the major social sites are available. In short it works as the developer stated.
The developer states a single voice recording is limited to 1 1/2 hours!
The only thing I would like to see is a way to remove or delete voice recordings. (Support was quick and showed me how to easily remove voice recordings)

3. **Time Saver**: Even in this short time, I’ve noticed a significant boost in my productivity. I can focus more on my ideas rather than worrying about typing them out.

4. **Versatile and Convenient**: The convenience of having my audio notes readily transcribed into text is fantastic. I’m looking forward to exploring more of its features and integrations.

5. **Great First Impressions**: Although I’ve only had a few days with it, VoicePen has left a strong positive impression. I'm excited to continue using it and uncover more ways it can streamline my workflow.

For anyone considering trying out VoicePen, I highly recommend it based on my initial experience. It’s already proving to be an invaluable tool!

I appreciate the functionality of this application, as it enables me to efficiently process multiple emails at a rapid pace, surpassing the speed at which I typically operate on a laptop. In general, my productivity with the Apple Vision Pro tends to be slower; however, the utilization of AINoteTaker has notably enhanced my efficiency with the device. The accuracy of dictation within AINoteTaker significantly exceeds that of the native Apple software, and the integral AI-powered rewriting feature further streamlines the process, making it an indispensable tool. I am thoroughly impressed and grateful for the utility this application provides. Thank you for this exceptional service.

As AI has become the key word of the century, every one able to kick out an app that utilizes AI enough to say it on the tin has done so. Most of those apps, particularly in the transcription space are the minimum viable product, missing large chunks of fundamental functionality or user experience. Not Voice Pen. It literally ticks all of the boxes and is priced reasonably. It’s such a good experience, I changed note taking apps as a product of finding an actual solid transcription app using Whisper instead of Apple’s on device language processing.

I was wondering how an app like VoicePen could be better than using the standard transcription in the keyboard with Notes, or things like that, and I’ve found at least two things:

1. The widget. I like being able to trigger dictation without bringing up the keyboard or even saying, “Hey Siri.” The copying straight to the clip board is really nice. I would like to see the text I just spoke as part of the widget though. That would be nice.

2. The AI features. So VoicePen kind of creates its own Notes setup to remember transcriptions. It also does a good job of integrating AI. So, for instance, instead of just rewriting the note in a style (social media, email, summary), it keeps track of them all with a tab of the different AI styles you’ve generated, along with the original transcript, and along with the original audio!

All in all, there are some early bugs and polishes that are still needed, but it’s still a solid app.

I’m in a two year Bible institute of long course study. AINoteTaker has helped me catch up with the young guys who can type faster than me. I take my notes and record with my phone and AINoteTaker lets me share files and makes long elaborated notes for me. I hope they continue to make it do more but I’m already at a 5 star.

Appreciate AINoteTaker in ways I can’t explain. Please work on making it do even more detailed notes! Ty

I’m using AINoteTaker on both my iPhone and Vision Pro and I love the fact that it’s simple and gets the job done. I can quickly dictate my message and clean it up in a variety of styles. AINoteTaker is minimal and easy to navigate. I’m looking forward to the continued development. I think AINoteTaker will only get better as the developer is very engaged and is open to feedback.
