App idea and interface has potential. For me, the app kept quitting on me both on the watch and on the phone when I would be setting up a workout. I decided to delete the app when it quit in the middle of a workout and I lost all my progress. I also find it very difficult to set up a workout and be able to edit once a workout has started, the only way to edit the workout is on the watch which can be inefficient. It would be cool if it could sync workouts from other apps, such as Fitbod that way there is no need to create a workout when a user is already paying another app for a workout. May try it out again in 6 months. Definitely not worth paying for right now.

So, I have Whoop and the metrics are way off. My sleep, strain, and recovery rings aren’t the same as whoop and make no sense. The even the cals burned are about 20 off even though my Apple Watch says 20 less and my Whoop has it 300 less. But, understand, Apple restarts their stats after midnight whereas Whoop restarts when you wake up for the day. So I’m unsure how Bevel does theirs but there metrics are off base even if they’re taking data from both Apple and Whoop. Weird. But, it’s a nice app and if they got that fixed, I’d use it again.

it’s like twice the cost of athlytic, but the features are far worse, maybe 1/4 the features and twice the price, so 1/8 value.. the apple watch complications are eyesores. I do appreciate that the iOS app is pretty clean and minimal, but overall it’s definitely not worth $60.. happy to pay for athlytic and autosleep and call it a day
