I just downloaded this app so that I wouldn’t have to keep going to the website and keep putting my ingredients in. I put all my ingredients into the app and began liking recipes to begin my meal planning. Then right when I was looking at a recipe, the app forcibly logged me out and now will not let me back in. When I try to get back in there are only two options for me after I have “logged in.” After putting my email and password in and hitting login, then it stays there but now I can either sign out or change my password. I closed the app and reopened it hoping that would help but to no avail. I even changed my password hoping that would help, but I still can’t login. Not very helpful at all and very aggravating. I have now lost all the recipes I was looking at. Very disappointed. I have deleted the app since I cannot even use it.

Setting up the app was very easy; It wasn’t complicated or whatever. There are SO many choices of items to put in your “pantry”. When you put items in your pantry, and then you go to the menu and look for recipes, it uses the items you have in your pantry, so you won’t have to worry about if you are missing an ingredient. One thing I will say, is that it’s a little weird: A ton of the recipes it offers you are repeated. For example: In my pantry I have peanutbutter and grape jelly. When I go to recipes, let’s just say that the app gives me 100 recipes on what to do with my ingredients. About 35, maybe 40 of them will be the same recipes. So it’s annoying in that sense, but I’ll admit that there is a nice variety in the recipes given to you. Although, there are also many of them that are a bit unrealistic. I think that the app should have a section where it asks you if you have certain materials, like an oven, a whisk, you get the idea. Because not all people have all the necessary tools to bake this and cook that. But besides that, I’m satisfied with the app.

Great app but the need to use login is a negative to save recipes instead of using iCloud. Adding items to pantry and shopping list is a breeze. please add Reminder app integration to sync a chosen list like the Grocery app does, this cuts down on having to add items twice to the location award Reminders app and the other app that uses its database. The recipe section of the SuperCook is amazing and I love the vegetarian options for times when I want to be meat free. Maybe taking users suggestions for shopping list items will be helpful because I can’t add oat milk in SuperCook so maybe if user keeps trying to add the same thing over and over, then it becomes a legit shopping list item. I’ve been suggesting this app to all my friends and family. Seriously adding syncing to the Reminders list app will definitely make new cooks using this app more since we already add shopping lists to Reminders app to check off.
