Not an improvement.

I used the previous version quite often and it opened with either a fingerprint or facial recognition. This version does not appear to have those features, or at least I can’t find them. When I log in on my phone and try and leave a message, I find that when my fat fingers touch the screen outside of the input box, PatientPortal will close, causing me to go through the long log in process again. You are forced to update, even though I chose no thanks on another device. This version is not an improvement and as far as I can tell and makes it more cumbersome to navigate. The new logo is the only positive I can find.

Patient portal doesn’t work

I wish I could leave no stars! I sign in, so far so good. Click on New Message, it asks for what practice. I put the practice in and hit continue and nothing. I’ve tried from my Ipad from my iPhone, no go. I went through my app than tried the website, no luck. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. What good is having a patient portal if it doesn’t work. So disappointed!

Use a desktop browser instead

My medical provider suggested I use the patient portal to contact my nurse practitioner as we had been playing phone tag. PatientPortal crashed the first time I opened it. I reopened and wrote a long detailed message and then the send button did not work. Closed,reopened, typed my message again and it still didn’t send. Hopped on my computer and logged in through my browser and was able to send my message there. The issue is definitely PatientPortal and not my medical providers settings.
Sort reviews by recent I’m not the only one.

App update introduced bugs

DO THE AUTHORS OF PatientPortal READ THESE COMMENTS? Look at how many BAD reviews!
The update for the InteliChart app has caused several problems.
1) When first opens it says update available; if you say "no thanks" app crashes.
2) If you update it forgets who you are, and on an iPhone forgets face recognition.
3) In an attempt to start from scratch, I tried to force-quit & delete app from phone, with the intent to install a fresh copy… but app WON'T FULLY UNINSTALL; in App Store it still comes up as "open"… NOT "install"!
4) The UI (User Interface) is clumsy, and some actions require multiple affirmations when operating an action.
All in all, given an end-user has *no* choice about picking *which* portal to utilize when accessing a given doctor's office… PatientPortal has turned into a PITA.

Awful!

The previous version wasnt the best but it at least let me log in with face ID or finger print. This version I sign in no problem with user name and password but if you click on a diagnostic test result such as an MRI to read it you cannot exit out and have to close out the whole thing and log back in. Ridiculous! Not user friendly at all at this point. Was excited to see a new and improved access to my chart but what a disappointment.

Terrible

I spent a significant amount of time attempting to sign in to my account and could not make it happen. I contacted customer service and tried all of the suggestions they made. I removed PatientPortal and uploaded it; I used Google Chrome and Safari—both unsuccessful. I kept receiving the same error message—“Oops something went wrong.”

Yes, something went very wrong and an app I used to use quite frequently no longer works.

They don’t know when to quit

The older app worked fine. The creators of PatientPortal need to go back to school. When you have a document to read and you open it up works fine but has NO way to get off of the page and go back. I had to delete PatientPortal to get out of the document page. I will have to explain to the doctor that any messages to me will have to be by phone.

Looking at information from doctor

I clicked to look at PDF from doctor and could not return to the original page. I deleted PatientPortal . Went to app store to get again, and when I tried to open it, it went back to that same page. Very frustrating.

This app is terrible! Wish I could open it!

I have tried to redownload and delete several times. Each time the only thing I get when I open PatientPortal is a white screen. I wish PatientPortal worked. It’s how my dr wishes we communicate. I also just updated my iOS before downloading PatientPortal because without the update it didn’t work either. Hope you guys will fix it

No longer opens at all

When PatientPortal is downloaded, I was able to use it and see my account. Now I’m not even able to see my account. Can you please help with this? went from it opening and working to now nothing. Just a blank white screen. Can you please advise?

Can’t Schedule Appt

There’s no way to schedule appointments in the iOS app. I’ve also tried on several mobile browsers with the same result (including in desktop mode). All I get is a brief spinning wheel, and then it disappears. The continue button stays grey because there is nothing to select. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro Max with latest version of iOS and your app.

This needs to be fixed urgently. If we can’t schedule an appointment by any means on a mobile phone, then that’s a major issue. Your devs need to fix this immediately. It’s impossible to manage appointments from my account via your app or mobile browsers. One must call, and that often takes much more time and defeats a major purpose of PatientPortal.

Please patch this. Either its a bug or an oversight, but it must be addressed.

They other version of this worked great. It allowed biometrics for easy log in and the layout made sense. With the new version, users have to hunt all over to find basic info. This is a clear example of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I feel bad for those who are not comfortable with technology trying to figure this hot mess out.

Terrible update

I can’t rate 0 but The new update is terrible . I can’t see all my medications listed, the refill request is not answering back. I can’t do an appointment with the facility that I always go in Winchester because is not listed either the pharmacy. The old application was more easy and better . Please change it back

Why fix something that’s not broken?

Before this update, I had no issues with the previous app. Now, this one constantly crashes, and the page freezes. It’s annoying. If you're coming up with an update, make sure it works right before you release it.

No Face ID and when you open documents there’s no way to close it except killing PatientPortal and logging back in.

There is no information on how to request Medical Records or copies of images to be sent to physicians.

Trying to reduce time talking to providers and wasting their time by sending a message. Unfortunately PatientPortal doesn’t allow you to send a message, I deleted all messages and tried to start a new one but no avail. Disappointed the old app worked so much better and now won’t even open.

Scratch this update

I’m really concerned they have a lot of misinformation! My diagnosis only shows minor things not my COPD or anything about being unable to walk from Neuropathy cuz can’t feel my legs and feet feel like big balls with tight boots on them but I’m barefoot. Hoping it’s a work in progress

App keeps asking me to update

Every time I use PatientPortal it now asks me to update even though I‘ve already updated. If I opt to not update (again) it won’t open. Very annoying to have to go through the update every time I need to use it.

Since leaving the review with my problem I received a message telling me to delete the patient portal app I am using and install a newer app. When I click to delete my current app it tells me I will lose all data - DON’T want that to happen! Now what??

Not letting me use the facial id

After the update it won't let me use the facial id ? Every time , I have to sign in with my whole credit. It's a lot of work and wate of time

Med refills and “update”

The medication refill section shows ALL meds ever prescribed making it hard for patients/parents to choose only active meds, so sometimes they choose an old dose and it gets refilled by accident.. also the request to update comes up every time.. even though PatientPortal has been updated.

Touch ID

Prior to latest update Touch ID was very convenient. After the latest update, Touch ID fails to open the portal but forces me to PatientPortal in Apple Search, then, clicking that open button the portal will open. Please fix this path.

Every time i try and log in, ask for an update. If update is denied PatientPortal close and you have to try again. When accepting the update it takes you to log in page and log info have to be used every time. Please Fix.Thank You!

A big advantage of the updated version is being able to see everything! The old version had limited functionality. I can now easily view my test results, chart information, update my account settings, and send messages directly to my provider from my phone! This makes it easy for me to schedule appointments, view my medical records, and communicate with my doctor.

Mobile navigation
