No customer service and I paid for my coins and never received them.

So a few things… first off I do like the stories. They are very captivating. The first issue is a few of the books I’ve started have a ton of typos, like crazy amounts that a subpar editor should have caught. With that being said my biggest issue with Novelsago is that yes the stories are great but once you read the first 3-5 chapters you’re hooked, but then you can’t unlock a new chapter unless you have coins and they cost so much to unlock, anywhere from 25-70, which is a bit excessive. I prefer if they let you unlock a chapter a day and then if you wanted to spend coins to unlock more. Honestly the Galatea app is better in that concept, but there are 3 stories that are so good in Novelsago that I wish I didn’t have to wait to earn coins to read them. We should get at least 1 chapter unlock a day…

I have spent $30 so far to finish one book and I have only read 30% of the book. It would cost me $80 - $100 bucks to finish this. The story itself is great but the grammatical errors on every page is insane.

A lot of typos in the stories that a basic editor should have caught. I’m not a fan of earning coins to unlock chapters. You should at least be able to unlock a chapter a day. The stories are good but waiting to earn coins to read the next chapter causes me to lose interest.

It first give you much for the points you get and it’s too expensive. You’re better off with Inkitt.

I like the idea of the coins to unlock chapters - in theory. But when you have to use anywhere from 30 - 60 coins to unlock each chapter, it’s a bit ridiculous. The ability to earn coins is a joke, and purchasing coins is outrageously expensive. After spending $60 on a story and still not even being half way through it, I stopped. I wouldn’t pay that much for a book anywhere, especially when the writing isn’t that great.

The chapters are so long to an average of 300-400 chapters. I purchased $35 in coins and only read 120 chapters, I was under the impression it was the price for the full book but no they expect you to pay a ludicrous amount of money when you can easily go to Amazon kindle $15 a month unlimited. Novelsago is such a scam couldn’t finish the book and my time was wasted! Beware delete the entire app! You’ve been warned.

chapters are super short and require 47 coins to unlock each one…. I started a book with 366 chapters then realized it would cost me $100 to read the entire thing - this is a joke. Plus tons of spelling mistakes, and although it seems to take place in the UD there are tons of British phrases incorporated in which feel odd to me- don’t waste your money.

They should have an annual subscription model to be more accessible. Anyhow I have deleted from my phone.

Over charged. No customer service to reach. Paid for 1000 coins $9.99 but was charged over $20.

As an avid reader this kept popping up on Facebook. So I downloaded Novelsago and read 19 chapters then they wanted me to buy credits for the next chapter. Um ok.. after looking at the amount of credits I would need to finish off a book of 200 chapters it would cost around 50.00.. no book is worth that! Get kindle or heck go to the book store!

I started a store on here and when it came time to make a purchase to finish the story, I did. Except I realized Novelsago never told me the total “coins” I would need to finish nir did it give me an option to purchase for the remainder of chapters. After a second choice purchase, I realized the book was broken down into 200 chapters! It would cost almost $8000 coins to finish the book which in total would bring me somewhere between $80-$100. Pure insanity especially for the writing. Really disappointed in the lack of transparency and the money I wasted to not finish.

There were way to many typos! Made it a little hard to read. Sadly, I will be deleting Novelsago .

I can’t get the bonus points

I got caught up in a story and before I knew it I paid over 100$ for ONE story. A bit ridiculous really. Upset with myself but if you like reading you understand. However I don’t think it’s worth the cost.

You can collect limited amount of coins free but it’d take you forever to finish a book that way. I’ve already spent $30 and still have only made it 1/3 of the way through a book. It’s just expensive

It’s ok so far, but the chapters are expensive and the prices are weirdly rated. I’m hoping to see better in the coming weeks as I read more. I will update as I go.

The books are great!!! But why am I spending so much coins for such a tiny chapter and I don’t like not knowing how many chapters are in the book spent like 30$ already and the book still isn’t finished

Wish there was a way to earn more coins per day without having to purchase. Only 5 coins per ad watch and check ins take a while to build up. Otherwise love the books and app.

I love Novelsago but needs to give better bonuses because requesting to much money I rather just buy the book for a one time fee smh.
