It’s a good book just don’t like when you get into it you have to pay for the chapters

It makes no sense to be willing to pay the monthly subscription of $20, only to not be able to read the whole book. Its not worth it. I have another app that allows unlimited reading on all books. I unsubscribed that very same day.

The books are not worth it for the price. I’ve spent about $60 for one book and I’m not even half way through. You might be spending $200+ one book. The further you get into the book, the more they raise up the price to unblock each chapters. Save your money and read from Wattpad. The plots are similar and very predictable. It’s not worth the price. What attracted me to NovelBar was the ads on Facebook. It wasn’t like the ad. It’s very disappointing

Like reading these books. First and foremost, any app that customer does not respond, is not worth the gamble with your money. Think before you subscribe. I had a few questions and sent several messages, not one response. Even if it’s a simple question, nothing, no response to date. Coins go up making it impossible to open up new chapters and accumulation does not work fairly. All these gimmicks is to charge you more money. Monthly subscription, don’t be fooled. Novel Bar, you need a better plan. Very dissapointed!

High costs may deter readers, potentially reducing the audience for these writers' works. **Conclusion:** Despite the enjoyable content, I cannot recommend this app due to its prohibitive pricing structure. NovelBar ’s cost model makes it difficult to complete even a single book without incurring significant expenses. For avid readers, NovelBar may not be the best choice unless you're willing to spend a considerable amount of money. I plan to discontinue using this app and seek more affordable.

I would give no stats if I could. I encountered an issue with a book I was reading and reached out to customer support. My first message to them was May 13th. I have messaged a total of 9 times with this issue and out of all I received one response asking me for further information on the problem. I responded with the requested information immediately. Here I sit today with no response from any of messages besides that one & I still have the problem. If you are going to charge readers to read a book then you should be forthcoming with help if there is an issue. Very disappointed

I enjoy the stories, and figured I would pay the monthly fee so I could read the book in its entirety without having to keep paying for each chapter. I signed up for a subscription, and began reading. I got 3/4 way through the book when it started asking me to pay for the next chapter. I feel cheated and that I wasted my money. If you pay for a subscription, you shouldn't be asked to pay for each chapter. It's misleading and is false advertising. The stories are a nice read, but NovelBar is deceptive. Don't waste your money.

I am also unsubscribing the first day. The monthly fee of $20 doesn't even get you one full book. Watching 5 thirty-second ads doesn't even get you a chapter's worth (73 coins in this case) so why even bother when you're not even getting one minute of reading? I refuse to pay $60 for one book, no matter how interesting. I thought for such a high fee I'd at least get to read all of the available stories. Kindle is cheaper. Galatea is cheaper.
If you charged $20 per month for all books to be available, MAYBE you'd keep customers coming back. You're going to run out of interest fast.

NovelBar is a scam. I never had a problem with this is app and I’ve using well over a year, even spending around 200 through the year til I realized they barely give you bonuses, and the amount they give you is barely even enough for one chapter per book. I stopped spending my money and barely came back to NovelBar due to NovelBar prices the locked chapters higher than others app. They will scam you out bonuses during ads, they release ads with no exit button unless completely closing out NovelBar but doing this, you do not receive your reward. I’ve closed out NovelBar countless times and even restarting my phone in hopes it’ll give me a different ad to receive my reward and it did not. I downloaded NovelBar on my second phone as well and I put the same chapter of the same book side by side, and one was more expensive than the other, which is just another thing to take into consideration!

Don’t do it!!! Save your time and money. You will over pay for the books. It is not worth it. They have good story lines, but when you spend money for coins and then the chapters cost anywhere from 30-60 coins it does last. You spend way too much and can’t even finish.

I was excited about this book. I purchased $60 upfront. The first couple chapters were excellent. Then I feel like another author took over. This person did not even do any spellchecks. The sentences don’t make sense and the verbs are all wrong. It was a total disappointment.

Now you introduction app. With first book you Showcase. Says that all chapters are free. But when l download NovelBar and find the book. Find out that only a few chapters are free and rest you are expected to pay for? So why did you lie about the book’s chapters being free when they are clearly not?

I was excited to find an app that had a monthly subscription, I love to read and I am willing to pay what an average book would cost. But I don’t understand why I would pay $20 a month and on top of that STILL have to pay for the book. I paid $20 for the subscription and then paid $10 for the book. I wasn’t even half way through the book and I needed to pay more. For 1 book, not even being half way through it I paid $30. That is ridiculous and NovelBar for that reason is a scam.

The books are good, busy so not worth the price. $100 plus for one book is insane. I would much rather stay with Galatea and NovelWorld there both monthly and year membership.

I purchased this book and it only let me read a little bit of the book and I paid for the book and now they want 35 more dollars to read chapter six please this was a rip off.

What am I am paying a subscription fee for if I don’t get to read unlimited books? I was in the middle of reading a book and it suddenly asks me to pay for more chapters… what is the subscription for exactly?

NovelBar has great books with good storylines but the cost of reading books in NovelBar is astronomical, it’s even cheaper to just by a book at the store and read it than to read a book in NovelBar . They offer a $20 monthly subscription and you would think that it allows you to read any and all books unlimited but the subscription only gives you a certain amount of coins a month which most ppl will use them in a day or 2. The cost to read books in NovelBar is not worth it.

To the authors (if they get to read this) NovelBar is doing a disservice to you, a lot of readers are loving your stories but are unable to finish them because of the scammer app.

The minute you sign up for monthly. The chapters stop so you cannot read this nonsense in one sitting and forces you to take over lots of money to NovelBar . Go buy a paperback and save yourself hundred of $$$$$. Storyline similar to another story. Nothing unique here. Disappointed about being scammed w chapters. You buy individual. You keep reading.

I wanted to find a particular book that was advertised to me and no matter what I tried I couldn’t get the search bar to work and the link between the ad and NovelBar was broken. Super frustrating.

I am mixed feelings about NovelBar. The stories are OK, grammar could be improved plus better editing, but overall story lines are fine. What’s not cool and pretty greedy is after you buy coins they up the cost of opening chapters. You can see something cost 30 points, you go back add points to your account, and then it’s like they raised it to almost up double the amount of coins to open a chapter. That’s not cool this app.!!!

I am one of those people who hate having to buy coins to read a book! I don’t mind a monthly subscription that allows you to read all month for one price. I read extremely fast and ended up using the monthly subscription within the same day, but because I liked this book I went ahead and paid to finish. I will not be reading anything else on this site.

I was really enjoying NovelBar and the stories on it but NovelBar seems to be having a lot of glitches lately and it is really frustrating.
1.) my daily rewards started back at day 1 when I was passed that. Making me start all over again.
2.) It keeps saying that I have bonuses for reading a certain amount of time and for unlocking a paid chapter but when you go to the reward page nothing is showing for you to click it. Or it will show but it keeps saying you have not received the reward.
This is very frustrating because I really like NovelBar .

I don't normally like these pay as you go so hopefully it won't be horribly expensive

Okay so let me start by saying that I am hooked to the story I’m reading which is why this is 3 stars. There are grammar errors and it could’ve used some editing but the story line and characters are great. That being said, I read really fast and I am used to reading full books so I got the $20 a month subscription and I ran out of coins in like a day or 2. There needs to be a way to just get access to all the chapters because at this point, this one story has cost me more than just going and buying multiple books off Kindle.

I love reading the books I just wish there were better ways to earn reading points or rewards on chapters

The books are great! But the only thing I hate is that you can’t just get a subscription and have an entire book available. You spend more money on the book than a coin subscription in the first place. Which makes me want to cancel after I finish a book I am reading.

This needs to be fixed

The story was fast paced and kept me wanting to know more what happens next. My only problem is the the editing. Certain words were used that deters from the storytelling and ruins the flow. Otherwise, it was a good story.

I’ve loved the book options within NovelBar. Some have grammar error, not sure if that’s due to translation issues? Some different words for the same thing they’re talking about, while other times using the wrong pronoun, and then regular typos. I believe it costs a lot for what you get in value from books, grammar from the books and makes it hard to finish a book.

I just started it and it grabbed my attention but now I have to wait to pay for more story. Wish I could wwwtch ads to gain chapters or something. Budget it too tight for paying for a bunch of coins. But the story I started to try out this got me interested. Now I’m sad

The price they want you to pay is ridiculous. If you actually purchase coins you’ll spend a fortune on an amateur novel full of errors. Of course you can ‘earn’ coins but only enough for one chapter a night.

I love the creativity from the different authors that are on this platform, though some of the spelling/grammar could be proofread before being made public still very good reading

Not since the invention in the printing press, has there been such way to read the printed word in such a classy elegant way as through NovelBar. This is the modern age reinvented you too enjoy reading the English language you could do no worse than this app.

This is a really good story. Will have you happy mad and excited on every page. There is some repeated writing on some pages but still a good read! I suggest buying bigger coin package until you get to epilogue

Love NovelBar. I finally found something that’s for me. I wish they gave more price specials . The watching the ads for coins only can do so much when you’re enjoying the books but I love NovelBar .

Great! As long as you are, patient waiting on rewards to purchase the next chapter. I am loving the story, but it gets too expensive purchasing. From now on, I will just wait for the rewards.

The books are good, and the cost of the chapters are reasonable. You can read one or two chapters a day with the daily check-ins

Can’t put the book down

Great book price is absurd but the book was great will go back to my kindle where the price you pay for a book is $9.99 on NovelBar you only get a few chapters for $9.99

The various authors provide varied story lines for different ages and interests. The characters are realistic and relatable. The stories are all well paced. The reading is easy and enjoyable.

It would be nice if NovelBar allowed you to flat out purchase the books as opposed to the overly priced chapters. However when I don’t want to pay I just collect my coins until I get a free chapter.

Love the novels that are on this site so far. I hope they continue to be short length and dragged on forever with chapter after chapter with no real context.

A little expensive for a book but I’ve enjoyed it so far

I am enjoying this book. I think she may turn out to be a werewolf that was beaten as a child, and it couldn’t come out because no one showed her how. But I’m not past chapter like 20 so I don’t know.
