This is a fun game, however there’s a huge balancing issues with players paying. You can immediately notice when a player is paying because his power will rise 3-5x over someone who has played as well as you possibly can with the given resources. Granted, these players did pay, so they should have an advantage, but something this drastic ruins the game for me and anyone else who hopes to rank high just by playing the game

I played a lot of idle RPG‘s and this is by far one of the best the art styles great music so awesome and an awesome community I have not encountered a single toxic person everybody’s funny and encouraging.

I know you need money but the competition gap between pay to win players and free to play is insane. Having a 10x potential advantage when you spend is wild.
The game is filled with content all around but its absloutely unfair, good game just needs a more fair system.

Such a cool game with great art and familiar mechanics for those that have played other similar games, but with some fun fresh takes. Left off a star because combat is super boring compared to other games. Fun game with a great community so far.

Basically just click-away with little strategy. Devs would have you believe that hundreds of players are paying 1000s of dollars to get ahead in a game like this, but I know it’s just fake dev controlled pay to win bunnies. Don’t bother chasing these straw men with your wallet.

I’m so disappointed because I pre-registered and was so excited for the game as it looked beautiful.
But as of right now, I’m just disappointed.

That’s right folks all this effort in making the game, and they make combat the most dull lame circle vs circle combat. That’s right all that time making your character and you fight as a circle beer coaster.

Game quality is also mediocre for this particular genre of game. Most of your time will be spent clicking through tabs to tap on the exclamation point “!” to claim rewards. You didn’t actually achieve anything of your own agency, you just spend time doing what the game tells you to do, with only about 5 meaningful choices or actions by the first hour of gameplay. As with most games of this genre, you get less total action or meaningful choice the more you play. This is not fun, but still tries to trap your attention for as long as possible.

The game does excel at grabbing your attention, but there are many more enjoyable or meaningful uses of that attention, even if you’re not willing to spend.

Free alternatives:
If you like number-crunching choices, pick something like ‘Idle Superpowers’. If you want to find meaning and reprieve from your real life situation, pick ‘ALTER EGO’. But by all means, pick something that isn’t this.

So when I was Arena my BP (battle power) was over 30million, and someone at 5million won against me. I felt like this is unfair since I should have won since mine is way over his bp. Also a lot of people chose to spend money on this game and get more pills and loots so they can breakthrough faster, I know u made a lot of events that give free items but it’s too unfair since the item they have is way more effective than the event. (I’m still gonna play since I like the game) but I just wanted to let you know what I thought about this since playing for a week now.

It’s brand new and everyone stronger than me has been playing for almost a full day. Makes you feel like if they one day off and you’ll jump right up the ranks. I’m a fan of that.

The game is pretty fun and I really like it but I think you should work on a game like it shows in the ads, I think this because a lot of the people who get this game get it from the ads and the ads game looks really fun and enjoyable for the average player, please acknowledge this message and think it over (a lot of people would play it)

I love the game and I’m giving 5 stars I just wish I could use my skip tokens more often or just all at once instead of collecting them

In the Ad it is a click to create your adventure which I found fun but in the real game it just was an rpg that told us what to do like it’s a tutorial , no clicking at all. Was the ad just a way to make people buy the game with no sense of knowledge if so I don’t recommend. No hate but please show the truth and don’t show clickbait

A nice and cool feature that you could add is an auto resource collection to the setting button in the realm. So you don’t have to focus on staying in that room to collect resources the whole time

I love it so much it’s so fun there’s no ads you get you. Can you could play with your friends and you could meet new people

Probably one of the better phone games I have played in a while

This game is another pay to win, can’t do anything without having to put money into this, you’ll have the “whales” knocking on your door and pushing you around. They get all the events rewards while us minnows are left with nothing. If the fateum didn’t rise so much after buying one thing I might actually like the game.

I love this game! Super addictive but easy to play through and be thorough about getting resources and leveling up!

The game and Chinese concepts it interprets into different systems makes it unique but ... it reached a point where there’s too much going on and I swear I spent more time trying to figure out how I could clear my inventory so I could login and collect my Mail more than anything in the game with the limited amount of bag space it gives you. You’re able to craft more inventory space but even then it’s so hard trying to get the materials AND you just get more and more junk everyday piling up. Eventually it just got far too annoying to deal with so I deleted the game

In the SEA version of Overmortal, you get stuff a bit more cheaper which is fine, I understand but I’ll put this here to let you guys know.

The real problem is that, the weekly events are absolutely insane. Not even leviathans can keep up with them. For example, in the treasure hunt event you have to do about 1490 treasure hunts to complete all 5 pages from that event. Mind you, $1 gets you only 3 treasure hunts and if you spend more there are diminishing returns (spend $30 you get 30 treasure hunts.)

My problem is that while we need to do 1490 treasure hunts to complete all five event pages, The SEA version of Overmortal only needs to do 540 treasure hunts to complete all five pages.

Though they try to make it ‘fair’ by increasing the rewards by about 10-20% compared to SEA, even though we have triple the requirements.

Not only does this rip off whales, this screws over light spenders and f2pers, they will struggle to complete 1 event page.

Even though they increased our rewards what is the point if we can’t even reach them? I spent $150 and I’m not gonna spend anymore due to these ridiculous requirements, just enjoy the game f2p, I highly recommend you do that, this game is not worth spending your money on at all!

Only way they fix this is if they lowers the requirements down to make it fair for everyone to have a chance to complete these events.

Trying to understand it better

I like the game a lot and I don’t really see any problems with it except for companionship dúo cultivation that I don’t really see a button to leave the companionship so if your companionships gets bored of the game your pretty much screwed and can’t get another companion but they prob will fix that soon after many people complain I don’t think my complain going be enough but there prob going to be more updates to the game and I can’t wait for it, it’s a pretty fun game

It’s a fun game the grind is kind of fun. Only issue I have is the serious pay to play aspect of the game. You can grind your way through for sure, yet while you take a week others are getting way ahead and leaving you in the dust, especially at the higher levels where it’ll take more n more time to level or gather materials.

The game is not something I normally play, and the commercials are deceptive about things. That being said you can dual cultivate, but not right away and not at the same time. It’s a great game just know what your getting into.

Update: the Dev responded to my review and offered 0 help once again with deactivation and/or deletion of my account. You’re better off playing Pokémon Go in traffic then playing this game or trying to get help from this customer service team

I downloaded the game - it was boring And I like to deactivate accounts before I delete the apps They even have a “deactivate / delete account” note on their support page When I go to the page, it tells you need to chat with support to request a deletion / deactivate So I did that - it took forever for CS to respond and they when they finally did , and after I asked to delete the account They said they don’t have that ability yet That’s absolutely crazy to me - and is a big bait and switch

So this game is literally the best bro I love it so much I play it every single day instead of Roblox bro I play Roblox sometimes but when I’m sick and tired of Roblox, I come on this game and stay sometimes for eight hour. This is the best game ever made this game. You should make the same game but this time you’re a dragon.

Cool game and all. Fun and enticing to complete. But how do I switch to the demonic path. I wanted to try it out, and it seems that I have to reach a certain realm to be able to as I have created 4 new accounts and none of them gave me the option to switch…

Overall great game but this is something about the welcome carnival. So it’s not giving me any welcome tokens and I would like to be able to just spin the wheel so I can go through the rounds and at least get the unfettered outfit and hairstyle permanently and I really want that so I complete stuff for the welcome carnival but I don’t get welcome tokens pls pls pls give us some easy quests for free tokens!!!!!!

So I never knew about this game until my friend told me about it when I started it I knew that it was gonna be a big banger because of the graphics , character customization, and just overall the game so I just wanna let these creators of this game you did a job well done😁

So I had recently been playing the game and had gotten all the way to the nacent soul realm just to log in today and see that all my data had been reseated and I had to make another character! I am deeply unsatisfied with this game as this should not happen! Won’t be playing this game ever again just gonna stick to my manga because at least I won’t lose any data from reading! Lousy game, lousy service, would not recommend to those who love the martial world of murim.

Game went through an update or something today & my game was not only deleted but I lost all binded info as well to Apple & face book. Neither one will bring up my game but luckily I have the purchases receipts not only on Apple but I screen shot all my receipts yet no one seems to want to get back with me from game developer so now I’m looking at possible suit against them for fraud.
All I want is my acct back and now some compensation for all this crap.

The game requires you to spend money if you want to be among the top Taoist in your server. But it doesn’t mater how much you spend you will never be on par with the Chinese players if you’re from another country. They get the same benefits to spending money for a fraction of the cost, so don’t even bother trying to keep up to Chinese players, you’re wasting your money. This is a Pay to Win game and even if you’re paying if you’re not from China, you’re wasting your money.

Amazing game kinda wish we were forced to store all citrus in sect storage and by destroying a sect next to your sect you can plunder there citrus storages

Also to be able to reset our techniques would be nice like resetting abilitys

Game is great to play at your leisure but definitely p2w advantage. But still enjoyable for F2P.
One thing that did worried me while playing this game. My iPhone would heat up and drain my battery at a much faster pace. Other games are fine. Seems to be only this game causing this issue.

Ads on Instagram and actual game vary by basically every single aspect. Ads are a complete lie.

Edit: thanks for the response. My advice is to stop making ads that show a completely different style of game than what you’re actually making. It’s pretty simple. You’re tricking people for downloads. I sincerely wish my download didn’t go toward your numbers, but there’s no taking it back.

Every time I try to get into the game it takes forever to load not to mention when it asks me sync update it freezes and I can’t press any thing it also takes up three whole giga bites. The game looks good I’m just wondering if you could fix this

I love the game but I just switched to iOS and I lost all my progress anyway I can switch that over?

Overall a great cultivation game with maximized user involvement and a unique take on an idle. However, game ads on social media platforms never seem to link up with the main game and mislead many. At first, I thought I was going to be playing a simulation type game with word-based content choices, but I was mistaken. I am ok with the fact that the ads were not entirely correct in their display of the user experience but would prefer if the talents portion was still mixed into the game in one way or another. That way each user could have some way to improve their cultivation experience other than techniques, with a trait entirely unique to ther own game character. Possible solutions could be treasures with unique physique types, inheritances in old ruins, and of course just like the ads, a randomizer for your talent which you get at the beginning of the game. Which I imagine would be something like a one-time roulette for older players. If somebody could implement these changes to achieve anybody's wish-fullfillment fantasy, then it would be much appreciated.

I have been playing the game for a few days now and I am loving it so far! I have played a few games similar before and this one by far is my favorite. The community it fun and interactive, at least on my server. And we have even made discords and started having sect chats. Overall it is a really good game, sure it can be pay to win, but so what? If you stay consistent enough with the game, and use the right strategies you should be fine. Though I do hope that some more suggestions from the official discord for the game are put into here for the next big update. There are some really cool ones that I have seen people suggest.

It was kinda fun. I played for awhile, but just found myself bored with the game there was nothing to keep me interested and the game was always bugged with notifications of something in character or something else and there was never anything there for me to do which was frustrating. My inventory constantly was full with rare items I couldn’t ever use resulting in a bunch of mail of stuff that couldn’t go into my backpack due to insufficient space. I would then have to sell things I’d rather keep or that were useless items just clear my mail. I understand you can buy more space but I never could maybe because you had to use real money I don’t know. Although it was fun for a bit I just simply lost interest and decided it wasn’t for me.

I’m going to start by saying I really like the game. The main issue I have is not feeling like I get what I work for. Having to wait 11hrs to breakthrough to another stage is bad. Especially when the only way to lower the time is by using potions that the game rarely gives you materials to craft. At least make it make sense. The game heavily rewards spending money in game but doesn’t care about the people who work hard to progress as it feels like they try to milk you for everything. Not to mention putting an achievement in the game for failed breakthroughs feels like getting spit in the face. I’m not even upset I’m just disappointed in this game filled with one of my favorite genre. Be better I don’t mind not being at the top but don’t take the fun out playing the game.

Has potential for its story, but it’s too simple and focused too much on achieving stats. i think there could be added fighting elements so it’s not so simple to go from fight to fight. like dodge, different attacks you use, power-up, combos, etc.
for characters, there are too many and their aspects are based on being an apprentice vs being a master. try to focus less on what character types there are in wuxia, but more on character traits and flaws. i think when there were sweet moments between the MC and the first master it was like their relationship was developing. I also liked how she was a chill master. The MC could also have a more established personality.
What drives each character?

I’ve learned that the players who cultivate the highest are the ones who pay the most, and that makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is creating countless different required resources for gameplay almost entirely unobtainable to anyone who doesn’t have money. When you click a resource and try and find how to obtain it, you will often find out that the only options you’ll find are the fateum exchange (the real money shop), or some random location that when you navigate to, you’ll notice that the resource you need isn’t even accessible there!

Surprisingly a good game usually I never get into idle rpg like games simple because it doesn’t entertain me much but this game was perfect to kill time. After spending months on the game consistently logging in every day since I was addicted to just having my own cultivation rpg on my phone the new winter update came out and I was excited to try out the new events when I tried to log in it wouldn’t let me go into any server it was just stuck loading so I decided to wait a few days and keep trying to login again only to find out my character was deleted and I would need to restart all the way from the beginning after playing for months truly disappointing.

Overmortal is undoubtedly my favorite game ever. It's an action RPG with an interesting and engaging storyline, and combat that keeps me coming back for more. There's a wide variety of quests and challenges to complete, and the customization options give me tons of flexibility to create my character exactly how I want them to be. The graphics are stunning and the gameplay loop is endless fun. It's a game that keeps me on my toes and never gets boring. Overmortal is a must-play game!

This game is fun and I’ve been playing it for a while I had an account that had around 650 million power but then one day I saw there was a reset button and decided to click it thinking there was going to a are u sure option and some type of Benefit to restarting but no there was non of that all my past progress just deleted like that. Now imagine if someone accidentally presses that button and it just resets them like that without any warning. Anyways the game was fun but I don’t think I’ll ever play again because of how mad I am and how much time and progress I had. Make it harder to reset for the future players thx

I had months of progress, with about 500,000,000 bp, and now’s it’s just gone. I knew which profile I had it on and it’s not there anymore. I’ll definitely be uninstalling cause there’s just no way that I’m going to grind all the way back up to that. It’s not a bad game in terms of cultivation games; it’s one of the best I’ve played so far. Losing all my data just kills a game for me sometimes, especially one that really just takes time to get anywhere.

So I see so many people rating this good but the game is impossible to know if it’s good or not bc I came across this game and I knew I loved cultivation games so I downloaded it but when u try and play it had to do some loading (Which I get and didn’t think much of) but then it got stuck and is taking 8 millenniums to finish. Would be one star but according to everyone else the game is really fun so I’m making it 3 stars because it would be a good game for me probably if I was able to play it

First off I would like to say that it is totally a great game buuuuut if you are going to play it then you should know that the ads are clickbait and it is not a word based script game AT ALL, second the Devs answers to reviews are copied and pasted so I would recommend not paying attention to them. All in all it is a great grindy type game and I had a lot of fun playing it but you definitely be aware of the fact that the ads are 100% clickbait!

Been playing for awhile but had to stop for some weeks because of finals. Now finally getting back on and realizing it’s asking me to create an account. Searched through my accounts and nothing. All my hard work has been deleted, all of it down the drain. I knew it was a bit skeptical when it never asked any account info like phone numbers, gmails, etc and it was pretty cool at first when you didn’t need to go to the pain of making a user and password but now I’m realizing that all that was a mistake cuz now I’ve been kicked and all traces of my account has been erased. I’m just saying. ALLLLLLL that hard work down the drain. Please, even though it’s easy for players if you’re gonna kick them after not playing MAKE A LOG IN FUNCTION👏it’s just less complicated than searching for hours through files, gaming accounts, and getting a headache realizing you’ve just wasted so much time. Anyways cant take this, deleting the game, gonna remember this day and watch out for games that do this😔 overall good game but traumatized me

Got to corporia nascent soul late after about a business week F2P. Love the game but there’s issues.
You have the option to choose between corporia (physical) or magicka (magic duh) cultivation, Magicka cultivation is just blatantly stronger because they just stack shields, while corporia players have to tech into magicka to get two shields. I got grinded down in the arena by people hard turtling with 4 trigrams(shield generation attacks)who shouldn’t win but win because they have access to more shields than is possible for a non magicka cultivator. Maybe it changes later and I’ll figure it out when I get there but it’s rough now. Also because magicka is ranged and mostly AoE based you get grinded down for 1/3rd of your health before you even get to them.
When the games cornerstone is competition, it hurts to have one option be so much more obviously better, CHOOSE MAGICKA

First off, let me say that overall I was impressed with this game. It definitely innovates more than a standard idle RPG, and actually has a storyline, which is more than I can say for most idle games. The graphics are gorgeous, and as an Asian history buff, I like the inspiration from Chinese mythology and folklore.

However, I wasn’t pleased to see some swearing in the character dialogue. The English translation was doing a good job keeping the language clean, so it was an unpleasant shock to me to see foul language pop up. It’s really unnecessary, and I don’t want to play the game anymore because I don’t want to see more swearing, I think it’s really obnoxious and immature. If the dev team would clean up the swearing, this would be an awesome game.

So I played for like a month or two it was an alright game I like some elements very grindy game mostly about numbers there is no skill involved in playing just log in and press buttons but overall its nothing crazy and it’s not a bad game but I took a good little break maybe a week or three cause I got bored of it so a little later I’m bored and wanting to check on it so I try to go in then it brings me to the character customization and the thing where you enter your name so they deleted or like signed me out idk overall I’ll give the game 4 stars it’s a time killer nothing crazy fun but got on my nerves a bit when my account got deleted so if you just need something to kill time go for it but something might happen to your account so exactly what it is it’s a waste of time so if that’s what your looking for go ahead but if your looking for a genuinely fun or unique game probably keep moving.

Loved playing this game. However, I stopped playing for a couple of weeks and when I returned, all of my data was gone. I had it connected to my game center and it is no longer available. I had made significant progress with my character and am feeling defeated knowing that it has all been lost. I have no intention of restarting my character and will unfortunately be deleting the game. The game overall is great and really addictive but I put a lot of time into the game and I don’t wish to redo it.

Don’t know what’s up with this game and refusing to work outside of wifi but it’s caused many issues with the play. Yes I have gone into the settings and made sure that the phone is allowing it to connect off cellular data, no it does not work. I have gone into the game settings and made sure. I have deleted and re downloaded multiple times nothing works. I cannot be in WiFi locations at all times. I play cell games so I can be on the go. What’s up with this game? I played on my PC and it’s alright but I likewise can’t be at home at all times. I want to move around and play when I can checking in to do events as able. If I have to be home to do everything I cannot leave my house, and that’s just not a viable alternative.

Love the game. Every thing is cool about it. But you have to do something to balance it a little bit more. It’s fairly obvious very early on that magika is just much stronger. They have multiple shields while in corporia it’s practically impossible to get through them unless your like a major realm stronger while getting stunned and paralyzed. Corporia doesn’t do enough damage to make that balanced. It feels like a waste to have my main cultivation be corporia rn

Its a really amazing game and I like playing and investing in it. The only thing i found unfair is that magicka is at huge advantage at every aspect in game and corporia just cant keep with it. I think u should maybe try to balance them up. Corporia are meant to be strong in single battle than magicka but magicka even with less battle power can defeat corporia in a pvp which doesn’t make sense. The player who chooses corporia at the start of game are regretting their decision but they just can’t switch now since they will be left behind everyone else. I hope that u will try to balance power between corporia and magicka.

I’ve been playing this game since it released in my region. It’s a fun game and has alot to offer but please to keep this game alive nerf magicka abilities so we corporia can at least stand a chance because from the early game y’all absolutely have a hard on for magicka that rivals MHA Fandom for gay ships. No corp should have to deal with 6-8 shields early game while we get two and they whittle our health down with poison, stuns, nukes, and all that to sit behind their shields which absorbs 70-80 percent of the damage. Like what are y’all on? What do you expect early game corps to do? Are you aware about how many players literally quit because of your favoritism of magicka?

I have played this game for quite a while and have several characters. I started another one and made it to a certain stage that triggers a key element for the rest of the game. It either didn’t trigger or I somehow missed it, either way the item is no long accessible due to my spot in the game timeline. Contacted customer support who told me I needed to complete the next section of the game to get the item. Okay. Makes sense. Except that, in order to do so, I need the item that they tell me I can’t get until later. Now I have played through that section with another character so I know that I should have the item by now but I am stonewalled by a customer service that doesn’t know it’s own game timeline. A trigger was missed. Just give me the dang heart….. thanks for reading my rant review.

I've been playing this game for almost two years at this point, and I've always enjoyed it. What I DON'T enjoy is the absolutely INSANELY OVERPRICED outfits in it. In this most recent event, there's an outfit that you have to pay $50 in REAL MONEY to get!!! That's insane for just a cosmetic! That's the cost of a console game! And in the timed events with cosmetics, it's always such a small chance at getting the outfit that honestly it's not worth participating. You guys already make so much money off the monthly and season passes, milking money out of your players like this just to look nice is poor game management and you need to seriously consider dropping your prices just on the outfits and cosmetics. Everything else is fairly priced except those.

Love the game. I’ve been playing for a few weeks and looking to guides for future reference. Game rewards patience and careful planning, and although an idle , has moments of high activity to help keep players in. The problem is the lack of constant stimulation will lead a large proportion of today’s viewers away from the game because it’s not quick and upbeat all the time. Additionally , it is pay to win which I have to acknowledge , but it’s easy to overpower those who spend later on if you get the right things and make the best investments early. On top of that, those who seem unstoppable tend to be those who exhaust a fortune on this game , and spending has depreciating returns in this game where time is your closest ally.
