Connection lost often, missing record a lot of moment even when driving, not let customer know that old version not working anymore(need to be their new app), the customer support is bad and very terrible(not have service mind, willing to cancel service instead of try to resolve problem!
When you download footage it can take 2 days for successful store in your phone or you lost evidence. This new company is very terrible not like the OG company that built this dashcam, I really satisfy with them and be their royal customer for long time, since they take over problem start show more and more.
I wouldn’t recommend at all if you not need 24/7 and live time monitor car for your work, find other dash cam product , it will be a lot cheaper and more quality for normal record.

This new application does not let you see the full video as the previous application does not let you speak through the camera and only records 4 minutes touching the screen it is supposed to be 24 hours and you can see everything that happens near your vehicle I feel that I pay membership without getting what I want the previous application I liked much more

You dont release new software that is not working properly especially for your existing subscribers and new customers. Very unprofessional.

No more clips like with old version not direct wifi like before this is garbage do not buy it this company they just want your money.

the new update is so bad please bring the old version of this app. It was much easier and better to handle

I’ve been dealing with this company in a really long time and they have had issue over issue. This is getting out of hand.

New version can’t see any saved videos or history like before can’t delete piled up clips either or change the looping to reset feed

New app glitches, difficult to navigate, customer service is a joke. Don’t invest in their products. Will def get a different brand and throw this in the trash. Save your money and get something else. I do not recommend.

Truly terrible app update. The reason most consumers purchase this unit and pay for a subscription is to use the remote viewing/monitoring capability. The old app version wasn’t great but it was better. I’ll probably find an alternative when my subscription is up.

Lost connection almost all of the time. Saved videos cannot be found. In the older version App it use to save video in my photos. Now I have no idea where my saved videos are going. Please fix this issue this app.

And now I can’t get any support on the phone. Owlcam says to call an 855 number and the message says try to reach us on the chatbot on the website which doesn’t connect to anyone - it just sends an email and creates a ticket and I haven’t heard anything back.

Perhaps it was the new app update, but my cam isn’t connecting anymore. I do have an older this app, but why should that matter? Customer service said I may have a “bad cell module.” Pretty strange I haven’t been able to connect to my owl cam around the time the new app came out (if it came out around mid November 2024.)

I was looking forward to setting up my new dash cam but was quickly disappointed. This camera only functions with an LTE connection/subscription through this app starting at $15 a month. They recently removed WiFi connectivity and rendered it a paperweight without a subscription.

They don’t make the actual cameras anymore and only provide customer service by email! Not even chat or phone. Impossible to get real time assistance. CallPass is awful and is never able to help if you have a problem. It is only a sham company. Don’t buy this app!!!!! You will regret the waste of money. I did.

Ever since the new update it has been a nightmare. No audio alerts to let users know if something has happened to the vehicle , lots of false Bump activity when you check Owlcam and no way to speak to an actual person. This once was the top dash cam but unfortunately I think I will be leaving the platform before my subscription renewal.

I don’t understand how can a company allow this for so long? Aren’t they concern about customer retention? Please this app fix these issues and work on new hard ware product it’s been years already since last new camera and even that was just barely an updated version. this app is a great concept but I already know 4 people that left this app for traditional this app and one of them has another lte Dashcam.

The service now is terrible. One the old app we were able to talk to the person in the inside of the car we are now no longer allowed to do that. The play back and the connection is TERRIBLE. If something is going on in the car by time the camera connect the person will be gone. My car was in an accident yesterday and trying to do the playback was almost impossible.

Always run into trouble with app connection and logging in avoid at all cost

best dashcam out there. 4 years and still working! app feels clunky at times, and connection not always there, but this still far outperforms anything out there.

I absolutely love Owl and have been with them for many many years and Customer Service has been great to my wife and I. Ignore the negativity and try it for yourself. Beresford SD.
