Please help report CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity and its developer to the Apple Store by scrolling to “Information” and selecting “Report A Problem”. - CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity downloads and once opened, after the user clicks on a set of information panes, you are prompted to purchase the actual app for a $50 annual ‘membership’. You can not use or discern anything about hidden cameras with CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity, in fact you can do nothing except to double click the side of your phone to purchase the service or decline, in Which case the purchase button just comes right back up. This is completely misleading and fraudulent in nature. Once unsuspecting App Store customers download CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity , the company is also obtaining identifying information about you, which also means it’s a phishing scam. Please report and stay clear of this company/developer:

Listed as “free” but completely unusable without paying $50. You can make it “scan” and it seemingly performs something giving you a pop up saying # of suspicious devices were detected, but with no info on their IPs, protocol, MAC address, nothing, to even see if the scan worked or just generated false results to pressure you into paying the $50. The lack of free trial and instant pressure to subscribe upon scanning likely indicates this is just another cash grab app that doesn’t actually do the functions described.

I accidentally downloaded CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity and paid 50$ before I realized it! When I tried to contact them I got no response! There is no number or customer service!!

Just an app that’ll probably scan your network, see a tv and neighbour’s smart oven and label them as suspicious so you pay.. everything is behind a paywall so it’s just another money grab. Subhuman behaviour, need less devs like this on CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity store.

I am having a hard time setting up this new device… I am prompted to pay when I have an SD card… I see no way to move forward without a subscription.

They make it impossible to cancel even within one minute of ordering it. (It sweeps the room and informs you that you have electronic devices at home, something one generally already knows.)

If you have security cameras and it’s telling to download CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity, don’t! You want EseeCloud. CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity picture itself almost looks like the actual app. It’s not the correct app for security cameras and makes you get a subscription that is useless.

As other reviewers have already said, it’s very misleading and not at all helpful without the subscription.
However, I can’t say for sure that it would be good or bad if you were to decide to spend the money on it though.

Don’t work when you’re out of town only worked for the first week and never worked again. I always have to travel back to my state for it to work . I set it back up, only last a week and out again.

Why are you not allowing use of my camera. Is it because I won’t subscribe to the recording service . Why can’t I get beyond the sign-in screen. If you do not allow me the freedom to refuse any part of your services and use my camera I’ll try legal action.

If you don’t read carefully then they will take your money. I tried getting a refund but they refused to return the money. I spent $54 on nothing just because I pressed continue. Don’t ever download CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity unless you want to loss money.

Be aware that CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity doesn't do anything except demand $50/year or $10/week as an in-app purchase. It says it's scanning but asks for money if you click on "RESULTS". It may be legit, it may not, but the only way to find out is to give them your money.

It happy with the design or accessibility of the application. Pausing and unpausing the Bluetooth rests the signals and distance to objects change every time. Some app allow you to communicate by causing device to vibrate and chime. The distance between you and the object you’re looking never changes and signal strength is very unclear . Want my money back honestly

While creating an account, one must agreed to the privacy policy and terms, however, clicking on those links you get blank pages.
There is nothing about having to pay $50 a year for an account when purchasing the camera or when looking at CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity . Apple needs to change its policy and make this one of the requirements on every single app.!

I accidentally bought this and noticed it was not CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity I wanted. I notified the supplier and was told I could not get my money back. I appealed and got the same answer. Even offer to pay for a one week subscription instead of a full year but was told no I am out $52 dollars for something I don’t want I am 74 years old and should know better but I made a mistake and am being charged for it.

All I was doing is check out the site and subscribe pops up I did not want a subscription I just wanted info the subscribe picture would not go away so I clicked on it and it charged me 55 dollars which I did not have on my cash app. Now it won’t let me download anything on my cell keeps saying I have to pay 55 1st. I wrote Can’t get an answer. What can I do. I’m on a fixed income i don’t like being forced to except something

Requires a subscription to use AT ALL. It doesn’t matter what settings you use you WILL need to pay exorbitantly to see the results of any scans, regardless of how many devices there are. There is no option to cancel the subscription or get money back. As far as I can tell even if you pay the $$ it still doesn’t work or provide the services it is supposed to provide (mainly, finding hidden camera you DON’T know about) There is 0 free option.

Misleading and suspicious

This is the worst app I have ever used. They will not back their product. They will not give you a refund. Their customer support is awful. I'm not even sure these people aren't in my phone right now because the Jedi mind tricks of having to make you download QR codes and go through the most ridiculous antics to get, some kind of recording. Don't buy it do not buy it. Sometimes cheaper doesn't work and in this case, I'm giving you the best advice. Run do not download this!

Camera tracking is nice but CamDetectorAppHomeSecurity I got has no control over sound or motion.
