I dont know

Platform: iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.2 After downloading EMFRadiationDetector , i noticed that it wasn't skyrocketing or at none. Near a clock or smoke detector, it fluctuates to 50. I cant tell if it works. If possible, if iPhones can read Sieverts and Micro Sieverts, that would be personally better.

It's a Toy

This is a toy that works well for anything with a magnet in it, which is why I give it an average star. However, everything written in the description is misleading.

I won't spend time discussing how so. But test it anywhere that has a magnet, it will spike. The stronger the magnet the more it'd spike. It's only detecting "magnetic fields" not "EMF" using the accelerometer or maybe gyroscope within the iPhone device. There's a diff between the two.

Not EMF, it should be 'MAGNET' detector

Though its a good thing they provide knowledge of EMF to the customers.
But its totally misleading.

Apparently doesn’t detect ionizing radiation

EMFRadiationDetector seems to effectively detect electromagnetic radiation in the range of radio waves and magnetism. When I bring a magnet close to my phone, the detector goes nuts into the high range. Also responds strongly to my automotive “keyless” key, which presumably emits radiation in the RF range. Responds moderately when placed next to my digital video recorder, which sends RF signals to my wireless earphones. No response over baseline when place next to my wi-fi router. And no response at all when placed next to a hunk of uranium ore.

The developer needs to clarify exactly what EMF frequency ranges this detects. Seems to be more of a magnetism detector, which makes sense, since the units are micro-Teslas, a unit used to measure magnetic fields. EMFRadiationDetector, however, is definitely worth downloading and experimenting with.

Decent App

The post calling EMFRadiationDetector a toy is wrong. The applications description says “keep away from magnets” I don’t understand what’s so hard to understand about that. Overall EMFRadiationDetector itself is decent

It Works

The left side of the iPhone is the area of the phone, when moved close to a ‘MAGNETIC’ source (Speakers, Magnets, Computers etc.), will show positive results. This detector works within the capabilities of the iPhone.

Great

Was fun playing around with
Also works as a metal detector!

How does it work?

I love EMFRadiationDetector but I am very confused on how it works? I would very much like to know this.

It’s legit I put it next to a magnet and it went up I’m shocked by this app really good download

Very real

This is great

I haven’t really downloaded it yet but the comments say that it’s good so I’m gonna download it:

Really good!!!

I checked my clock and it went to 100 its so right and I love it so basically the bottom of a old Nokia flip phone is really radioactive! And also it goes to 1086!Soo good!

Question

Why does it go up to 1000 when I put it by a subwoofer?

Great app

I liked the feel of EMFRadiationDetector and I enjoyed reading the FAQs in the menu, I can tell that the developer had put a lot of hard work into making EMFRadiationDetector. appreciate it

Try it on an AirPod or case

*case is worse* if you look at the radiation on that thing it’s basically destroying your brain when you put them in lol

Works well on 5S

I just downloaded EMFRadiationDetector and if the reading on the meter is correct, which I cannot prove, but EMFRadiationDetector itself is immensely easy to use especially for someone who is technically challenged and I love the simple design. No frills. Two thumbs up!

Amazing

Free app works well for ghost hunting really accurate physics when improvement I would like to see is a notification when there’s a sudden change in your EMF otherwise very great app I would recommend it to a buddy

SOMEWHAT WORKS.

EMFRadiationDetector uses your phone to detect magnetic fields, not EMFS. BUT when you do put ur phone next to a WiFi router or turn on a microwave and put your phone near it, the numbers start to go crazy. I believe EMFRadiationDetector works but not as great as a real Electro Magnetic Field detector.

Answers

The reason why it goes up when your near your smoke detector is that it has americium a slightly radioactive element which send electrical spurts when high levels of carbon dioxide and you get the idea, I don't want to explain how fire alarms work just that they have some radiation

Great app!

This is such a simple, elegant app. Turn it on and it shows you your current EMF level. It doesn’t get any easier or more clear than that. Every other app I tried was so gimmicky and silly. On top of it all, this one is free!

Super impressed

EMFRadiationDetector works perfectly, Although it wasn’t smart at all I put magnets near my iPhone and it accurately detected them, Even from a couple feet away. Definitely not a gimmick like most of the apps for this!

No Instructions

How do I know what level is safe and what isn’t? There’s no info. with EMFRadiationDetector.
There needs to be guidelines and mention of what is a harmful level of radiation.
The situation of EMF’s has now become a world wide concern and I need an app. to help me with this concern.

Simple and clean!

Awesome app!I wish more devs make apps like you do

How to get big no no

You go to an electric guitar and put it against the strings

Works very well! Please download

Works very well!!! This download is a must!!

Why is there 2000 on top of a phone

Am I going to get radiation sickness

Features

EMF Radiation Detector is very simple to use: open the app and your iPhone will begin to detect the electromagnetic fields nearby, showing you whether or not if these are dangerous to your health.

The technologies we use today, from our everyday appliances, cell phones, even our cars, emit electromagnetic radiation & EM radiation that can penetrate and affect us, seriously compromising our health and disturbing our environments.

Do not endanger in vain your health, download EMF Radiation Detector from the App Store and find out which electronic devices can be dangerous for your body.

Your body’s electrical signals are well within the range of those that can be stimulated by ambient radio waves, microwaves and other forms of electromagnetic radiation.

This means if you are near a powerful EMF, electromagnetic radiation isn’t just around you, it’s inside you.
