Café Zupas Loyalty Reviews

I’ve used the previous Cafe Zupas app countless times for ordering without a single issue. The new app unfortunately has some bugs to work out. I tried placing an order multiple times using Apple Pay as my payment method, and the order failed each time. Decided to try a Visa debit card instead. Added new payment method, selected “save card”, and received a “something went wrong” error. Tried multiple times and cards, but could not save any of them to my account. Finally unchecked the “save” option and was able to successfully place an order. So while it appears my order finally went through, it was an ordeal getting there. My hopes are that they fix these issues soon, as I order from Cafe Zupas often!

Buggy. Ordered curbside. While traveling to Zupa i got a confirmed text message that the order was ready. Arrived at the location and selected “im here” and an error message appeared stating “too ealry order not ready”. Tried again,same error, tried mobile web and it said order already in progress. Waited outside in the car and no one came out so i went into zupa and got my order. It was ready and waiting.

Just attended the grand opening at the new Bluffdale location in Utah! They made the event so much fun for everyone including all the kids. All of the staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered after and the environment in the new location is so fun and decorated so well, and the food as always was delicious! This was my first time using CaféZupasLoyalty as well, and everything went so smoothly!

CaféZupasLoyalty is not accepting any of the passwords I try to use while simultaneously not telling me what characters I should be excluding. Also these are extremely common characters like the @ symbol, parenthesis ( ), hyphen - , or an asterisk * that your developers arbitrarily decided people don’t use. It’s 2023, why are these characters not available for use? I absolutely HATE having to change my password routine for hack developers. I won’t use CaféZupasLoyalty or your crappy rewards until you fix it. It’s inconvenient enough that I have rather lost my appetite for soup today or for the next few weeks.

I first downloaded CaféZupasLoyalty and met the log-in screen. I decided to log in using Google. It didn’t even take me to the SSO login, it just says “Something went wrong” and prompts me to refresh CaféZupasLoyalty , only to have the same error read to me again. I hate that Cafe Zupas has 3 separate apps, it’s so unnecessary and ridiculous and a waste of my data storage. Now not even the new loyalty app works properly. The developer team or media managers for Cafe Zupas need to get their crap together! Your user interface/UX needs to be SEAMLESS in order for this to work well in the long term… 3 apps is not seamless at all. Super annoying.

CaféZupasLoyalty has made ordering lunch so quick and easy for me. A few little glitches in the first few weeks but everything is running so smoothly and my points are ranking up. I’ll be using my points for a free Try 2 Combo this week. Love being rewarded for my purchases.

I love CaféZupasLoyalty! It makes ordering delicious, healthy food at an affordable price! I always order right before I leave to pick it up and it’s always ready! Customizations are easy and accurate! Pro tip, if you haven’t tried the chipotle salad, ITS A MUST!!

CaféZupasLoyalty won’t process payments, specifically Apple Pay. Get rid of the default tip amount or let users set their preference and offer $0 as an option. It was very frustrating to set the tip amount and have to provide information and then CaféZupasLoyalty would reset to the default tip amount. Very disappointed with the update. They were offering a promo through CaféZupasLoyalty , too bad I couldn’t take advantage. Kind of felt like the broken app was being rubbed in my face.

Outstanding! It's as if CaféZupasLoyalty has combined all the finest features from various applications into one seamless experience. I absolutely adore the Norterra location, and I must say, Tabitha's exceptional service truly stands out. I am overjoyed that CaféZupasLoyalty is accessible, as it has brought me immense satisfaction and convenience.

If you love Café Zupas as much as I do, you NEED to get CaféZupasLoyalty! Getting points is so easy, and the food is to die for! After just a few meals, I was getting free desserts and more. Paired with the delicious food, and wonderful customer service, every visit to Zupas is so worth it!

I had ordered from the old Zupas app for years with no problems. Was told I had to download this new app. The first time I tried using it I repeatedly got an “order business failed” error every time I tried to finalize my order. Tried three different payment methods and received the same error every time. Pretty frustrating when your kids are hungry and your husband was already driving to the restaurant.

Sign in with Apple ID crashes CaféZupasLoyalty . Can’t get past the login screen.

EDIT: This issue was fixed quickly. Now CaféZupasLoyalty works beautifully.

So where did all my points go? Setup exact same profile and no points. Is this their way of saving money, by making everyone start over with zero points? Not good business practice. On top of that the old app filled my iPad screen and CaféZupasLoyalty is so tiny, I almost need a magnifying glass to read. Obviously won’t be using CaféZupasLoyalty and if I can’t order online and pick, then you’ve lost more business.

Navigating between items is more intuitive, but CaféZupasLoyalty absolutely fails when trying to confirm contact details for delivery. I entered all fields (that I could see or get at, anyway), and hitting the confirm button does nothing. I didn’t see anything like a physical delivery address entry. As a result I wasn’t able to take advantage of the free delivery offer.

I originally was so excited for a new app, but upon opening was disappointing to find that the calorie count on the menu items had been removed. The old app made that so easy for me to quickly figure out what to order quickly when getting food with friends and work. Now it’s gone. Super disappointed. 😔

I downloaded CaféZupasLoyalty yesterday because I got an email saying I could get a free sandwich through CaféZupasLoyalty . I’ve been trying since yesterday to order the sandwich, but I add it to my cart and either my cart doesn’t ever load and CaféZupasLoyalty crashes, I get to my cart and it says “This Item Does Not Exist” or it doesn’t add to my cart at all. I finally just gave up after dozens of attempts.

My app is fully up to date. I have made a few successful orders, but now CaféZupasLoyalty refuses to take a payment from me through any of the available options. Won't go through apple pay, won't let me enter card details. My apple pay and card are working fine, no issues elsewhere. All I get is a pop up that says "Error" with no other information.

New apps come with new bugs and I hope this gets fixed quickly. When trying to order delivery it won’t let you check out after enter your info. The button is there to “confirm details” but nothing happens when you click on it.

Love Zupas so this new app is a MASSIVE upgrade from what they had before!! It was so easy to customize my order using CaféZupasLoyalty . The new loyalty feature is a great addition.

Yay Zupas finally has a rewards program! So glad to get my favorite food more often and get rewarded for it! Also CaféZupasLoyalty is so much easier to use! Thank you Cafe Zupas!

I was really excited to hear that there was now a loyalty program for zupas. It’s one of my favorite restaurants and I was already giving them all my money, so I was pretty pumped to be getting something back😂 However, the loyalty app has been a little finicky. When I want to order something “asap”, it says that time is no longer available, so I have to change it to be a later time. My most recent qualm is that every time I add a try 2 item and then try to scroll to a different part of the menu (like “drinks”) it freezes and won’t let me see the options.

For these issues I’ve resorted to ordering online as the desktop version seems to work fine.

App developers fixed the glitches and reached out. App works now. Good effort with customer service follow-up. Changing my rating to 4 stars.

It'd be nice if CaféZupasLoyalty worked. Upon opening, I immediately get a "something went wrong" error. When attempting to create an account, it requires that I choose a favorite location, but the drop down menu says "no data found". How am I supposed to continue? Can't create an account, can't use CaféZupasLoyalty . Useless and worthless.

I really like CaféZupasLoyalty. It’s very user friendly and I like how easy it is to customize items as well. It’s easy to pick the location and time I need my food. The only thing that could be updated is whenever I do kids meals they don’t show all the options for the kids fountain drinks, like root beer. It’s nice to be able to pick everything up ready to go, but if they aren’t going to have all the options I’d prefer to just let me have an empty cup to fill up myself.

I’ve had CaféZupasLoyalty glitch on me twice now. I had to do a complete re-order and got charged for both, one of which was refunded. The second time CaféZupasLoyalty says there’s delivery service, but apparently it goes through a third-party, which they don’t tell you. so no one even knew who picked up my order or where it got delivered. CaféZupasLoyalty allows you to “follow“ your delivery, but it is completely inaccurate. You can only do 200 characters on CaféZupasLoyalty in order to make any complaints. They still haven’t given me a refund the second time I had to re-order.

The new Cafe Zupas app is awesome! The biggest improvement the new app offers over their old program is the ability to earn points and redeem for loyalty-based rewards. As somebody who has been going to Zupas very frequently for a long time this is a welcome change. In addition, I feel it is much easier to order in CaféZupasLoyalty and that things work really smooth. Excited to see how the Cafe Zupas app continues to improve!

It isn’t new knowledge that Cafe Zupas is amazing, but what is NEW is their new Cafe Zupas Loyalty App!!!📱I can finally start earning food while enjoying food! CaféZupasLoyalty is really neat and has everything I need to check out the menu, order online, scan for points, and most importantly, earn those SWEET-SWEET-POINTS!!!💲💲💲Not to mention there are special bonuses when you have CaféZupasLoyalty like a FREE extra chocolate strawberry or a FREE drink! 🍓Overall it is a great app for an even greater store with the greatest food 🥗🍲🥪

I sound like i'm sponsored by them when I tell my friends about them lol. CaféZupasLoyalty is a little weird though. It's not super straightforward to get to the menu screen. Also, sign in worked fine for me but my boyfriend wasn't able to as the buttons were all blacked out for him to continue when trying to sign up even though everything was filled in.

i used to have the old app and it was good. it was nice to be able to order ahead so when i got to Zupas, it would just be ready to pick up. i am LOVING this new app though! i am so glad that Cafe Zupas decided to start doing the rewards! when ordering through CaféZupasLoyalty , i've never had a problem with my order being wrong. i always go to the Layton location when i'm ordering ahead to pick up in store.

I’ve been waiting for some kind of app like this as a Zupas Zuperfan. Finally some rewards for eating right while eating out. So far I like CaféZupasLoyalty and can’t say that I have any issues with it. Beyond convenient. Good quality and consistently so as I’ve eaten at several different Zupas all over Utah. The folks know their stuff, always friendly, and online orders are always ready on time. Keep up the good work! See you soon.

Came in for something quick to eat in 2021 and have been back ever since! I was always wondering when they were actually going to incorporate a loyalty app and I’m so glad they did! I have used it countless times without any problems and when I did have any questions, the workers at my favorite location were more than happy to help. Love the rewards 🫶🏾Would recommend!!

CaféZupasLoyalty is usually user friendly but occasionally I get turned around in getting my new order added. Nice that it saves past orders. Not sure if I get rewards automatically after an app order or if I still have to enter the numbers at the bottom of the receipt. Love the recent free offers I have gotten by email.

I enjoy using the new app. It is easy to order and I have never had a problem with it. I also enjoy that you can earn points to use on a future order. I don’t like to wait in line, so I order on CaféZupasLoyalty then eat at the store most of the time. It is a good working app.

I love Zupas and am stoked for the rewards now! CaféZupasLoyalty seems to work great, only thing is to modify an item you have to add it to the cart then go in and modify it. As opposed being able to customize it before adding it to the cart. But I’ve used CaféZupasLoyalty several times and enjoy it.

I’d change a couple of things to make CaféZupasLoyalty more user friendly — on the homepage, “Order now” should be “View menu” to clarify that’s what’s in that link. Then I’d offer the ability to order directly from the menu page, rather than having to click into each item and then back out again to find/add additional items.

The navigation and pictures are great and help users locate specific items.

I’d love the option to pay via PayPal rather than having to store or type in my credit card number each time I order.

CaféZupasLoyalty offers the opportunity to pick up in the “Good Life Lane,” but there’s not a lane with that name/sign at my store. Not sure if this is a app alert issue or just a staffing issue, but twice when I’ve arrived to pick up my online order, there’s been no staff at the drive-thru, so after sitting there for a few minutes, I’ve had to drive around the building, park and go in to ask for my order at the counter.

Difficult to navigate and not the most intuitive layout. The menu item picture takes up most the screen and it seems like no matter what I try to click it is very sensitive and just takes me to that items details, which I never want to do. The menu drop down is small and at bottom of screen, which is atypical and not the most user friendly. I’d like to more easily access the menu screen easier. Plus, the food menu is not even an option unless placing an order. Restaurant apps should always have several items easily accessed, in my opinion: the menu and the way to order. CaféZupasLoyalty has the latter, although again not the most user friendly, but not the former.
On the up side, finally Zupa’s offers rewards. Long overdue.

I think this new app is a nice improvement from the previous one. It is easy to navigate, adding the items you want and making any changes with what you want/don’t want on an item. I’m most excited to finally be able to earn rewards for all my purchases. I also like how easy it is to track your rewards. You can easily see what items you can get now or how much farther you have until the next level of rewards. Overall I think it’s a great app, but I’m sure there will be some improvements to come.

The new app eliminates some of the confusing features of the old app, when it comes to adding items to cart. But now it’s hard to find how to exit the front pages & get to the menu. Also I was really frustrated when CaféZupasLoyalty continually rejected my attempts to accept an offer of a free summertime menu item, which an employee told me was due to app problems that the company “was working on.” My friend was able to get the offer but I never was. In short, some problems solved, others created.

Love that the new app allows you to remove a topping and replace it without an additional charge. In the past, the website would charge for any toppings that weren’t in the original menu item, even though you are allowed to swap items when ordering in person. It’s great to see this update that allows a 1:1 toppings swap at the same price.

Café Zupas has one of the best restaurants apps available, and I have about 25 installed. Other fast food and fast casual restaurants could learn a lot from CaféZupasLoyalty. It’s easy to apply offers on, too. I also like how the exact ingredients are listed for each item, and how I can customize every order with dozens of choices.

I had the old app as well as the new one. I like that it is easy to change your pick up location. Ordering in CaféZupasLoyalty is easy. It, also, saves your recent orders, making reorders easy. You can save your vehicle information for ease of curbside pickup. I, especially, love the convenience of the “Good Life Lane,” at certain locations as it makes picking up an order during break time (at work) a breeze. The food is always fresh and the service is great. The freebies are a nice perk as well. Overall, great app, food, and service!

I used CaféZupasLoyalty because I often have issues when ordering via the website. Somehow, CaféZupasLoyalty is even worse. First, it took me several attempts to get CaféZupasLoyalty to find my address for delivery. I had used to the saved address under my profile that Zupas has delivered to multiple times, and it kept saying it wasn’t available. Finally, I re-entered the exact same address, and I was finally able to start my order. Then the real frustration began. At least four times, I went through the entire process of adding all of my items to the cart. The indicator in the top corner even said I had two meals in my cart. Then every time I went to check out, they suddenly cleared and it said a didn’t have any items selected. Okay, fine, let me try again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Finally I decided to do my order via the web browser, and when I logged in to my account it said I had 8 items already in my cart for a total of $65 (though when I checked my cart, all the menu items were blank/“not found”). So it must have cached my info from CaféZupasLoyalty login, but not in any way that was useful. Okay. Delete them all one by one. Go back to menu. Finally get items in cart and complete checkout via web. How on earth can you roll out an app so dysfunctional that it can’t even do the bare minimum of its intended function?

I love the food. My Hubby and I have been coming here since the grand opening so many years ago. 😅 I used the old app during Covid and discovered how well organized Zupas was compared to others in the take out game. We had always dined in previous. Now w/ the promise of the loyalty program (it’s about time) I always order on CaféZupasLoyalty . It has been glitchy as other have stated w/ the Apple Pay not always working (but has recently been fine) and I don’t always get a text to say my order is ready until AFTER I go in and ask for my order OR find it already on the shelf waiting for me. Now when I try to view my points it says son went wrong and to refresh CaféZupasLoyalty but it just keeps doing the same thing and won’t let me know if I can redeem any points yet. So, fix the points thing, fix the text thing and then maybe it would be better. For now 4 ⭐️🤓

Their food is delicious with fresh ingredients. I love that they have a wide variety of options to suit just about anything you’re craving. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Even though they are often busy they go out of their way to make sure your order is correct and you are satisfied. I wish you could see the additional cost of customizing things in CaféZupasLoyalty . I do like that you can customize and create favorites and pick from there when ordering to speed up the process. I much prefer the maneuverability and how the new app is laid out compared to the previous one. It’s also really easy to navigate and use even if you haven’t eaten here before. I can’t wait to eat here again soon!

My family and I have been going to Zupas since at least 2016. It’s been a family favorite and we appreciate the healthy options especially when in a hurry/short on time. This new app has been great and the upgrades tackle everything I previous had (silent) complaints about. I appreciate that we now have rewards, something I’ve wished Zupas had because we eat there 1-2 sometimes even 3 days per week. I appreciate that there are points earned, discounts occasionally, and I have had 2 days where my order wasn’t right and customer service was so quick to help. Having my orders saved helps a ton AND I appreciate i don’t have to enter my vehicle information every time now. Big wins all around.

The Zupa’s loyalty app makes it quick and easy to order online. The drive through pick up option is genius— no more waiting for those ahead of you in the drive through because everything is ready when you arrive. CaféZupasLoyalty allows you to remove and add things easily to a menu option or create your own dish. You also have access to special rewards for using CaféZupasLoyalty . Zupas offers variety, and it is light but filling. It makes the perfect lunch and doesn’t break the bank. Earning points is the cherry on top. Convenient, healthy, and tasty. The only downfall are some entrees have an upcharge when ordered as part of the Pick-2 menu option. However, earning points towards free food can help make up for that upcharge.

We have had the previous apps for Zupas as well as Zupas catering. I used them before. They were ok to use, some glitches but not the worst I’ve had in comparison to other apps. Still able to order food I needed.

Now with the improved app, I like that rewards are available. Overall I find CaféZupasLoyalty easy to find what I need, to make adjustments to items (no tomato or whatever) and the orders I have received have all been correct.

I do kinda wish the regular order and catering were in same app. Also last time I ordered I did pick up in store. There was a slight delay in order being ready. The store was busy inside and it can take a while to get attention of cashier or someone else to help. But it all worked out in the end.

My hubby and I often get the sandwich and salad combo. I can’t tell you how many times I would screw it up (since we order only sporadically). So it is nice to get better instructions.

However I noticed that a few options were taken away, such as “i would like two cups of salad dressing please”, or just free text comments. I like to have my food exactly how I want to eat it.

Not related to the new app, but I was unable to find whatever condiment I wanted on our last visit. Also the food was about 20 minutes later than estimated, although they were definitely quite busy at noon.

The visual display of the new app is an improvement over the old app, as is the ordering function. Much easier and intuitive for ordering a Pick 2 in CaféZupasLoyalty . However, the overall workflow is still a little clunky and takes a couple times through to learn and feel like it’s a smooth process. I really miss the Asian Steak & Quinoa Bowl and all the old bowls… would be fabulous if they would bring those back. A lot of the new items are meh. Not an improvement over items that were removed. Love Zupa’s overall… CaféZupasLoyalty is okay, no major bugs, but it could be better- have a better workflow.

I’ve enjoyed Zupas for about 10 years now. The new loyalty app is very polished, user-friendly, and has one of the better loyalty programs than I’ve seen in the food industry. Only reason I give 4/5 stars is because of the recent menu changes. Zupas used to have their power bowls and a veggie sandwich that were the main things we ordered. Now replaced with “protein bowls” and a soy-based chicken sandwich, that unfortunately are just not as good. Again though, CaféZupasLoyalty and it’s functionality is great, no complaints there.

CaféZupasLoyalty is mostly okey, but would be better if prices were immediately visible vs. click a bunch - only then you see the price. Also needs an option to put all condiments on the side/separately.

CaféZupasLoyalty adds a tip automatically. Why? You don't get waited on - nobody gets you drinks, brings nd picks up your dishes, checks if everything's okay, brings your bill etc. Not to mention if you're ordering a carry out. Not only it's ridiculously unreasonable, but it's not immediately obvious how to remove it. So CaféZupasLoyalty is trying to make you feel bad if you don't want to throw your money around.

The Zupas app is the best! I love to order ahead of time and pick it up when I’m ready. My favorite perk, though, is the rewards section. A lot of places will only let you redeem one reward per visit, but CaféZupasLoyalty allows you to use all of your points at once, even multiple rewards in the same order. I feel like the rewards are very reasonably achieved too, unlike other apps that take a year to get a free roll or small drink. Overall, I’d highly recommend!

CaféZupasLoyalty wasn’t user friendly when I did an in store purchase and sent a review to ask how to add the purchase to my app. Too much time passed and by the time I received the instructions I no longer had the receipt. Also, while the food is nearly always perfect mistakes are made at times. Lastly when I order curbside mostly always the food is not brought out when I check in and often the check-in feature does not function.

Overall, I like CaféZupasLoyalty . I feel like Zupas is trying to come up with a loyalty plan like other similar restaurants. For me that is a big selling point. If I’m going to frequent a restaurant I like to be rewarded for something I’m already doing. Plus it’s a bit of a incentive for me to choose Zupas over another similar restaurant. I haven’t had any problems using the new app. Fairly easy to navigate. Some menu items offer customizable things. Some do not and I’m not sure why. I would be able to do it in restaurant and honestly sometimes you just want to take off an item due to allergies. Not sure if that’s a glitch in CaféZupasLoyalty or if they just don’t want you customizing certain menu items. Overall I like the new app and appreciate the over haul from the old app.

It is a decent food ordering app. Several glitches encountered, including being stuck in a loop of trying to add items to my order and being routed to choose my location each time (having to drill down from the national level to state to city, you get it. Another glitch was during payment. Apple Pay is an option but choosing it just bounces you back upwards on the order page… which makes you think you did something wrong. Eventually I tried “add a credit card” and was able to pay the old fashioned way.
Not able to customize items much via CaféZupasLoyalty . That is why I docked a star.
I’m sure the issues will be ironed out as time goes on.

I used to use the original Zupas app often. I was disappointed that there was no loyalty option because I ordered frequently.
I was exciting get the new app and start earning bonuses. Unfortunately, the timing of the new app coincided with my college kids being home for the summer and my food habits changing temporarily.
Today I met a friend for lunch at Zupas. I tried multiple times to pre-order my salad with CaféZupasLoyalty . When it kept not working, I switched to a different salad order with the same result—“Error; this item does not exist.”
I ended up ordering in person and scanning my app in the store. My friend let me also scan my app for her order. Later this afternoon, I was again disappointed when I saw that neither purchase had been credited to my account.
I am looking forward to CaféZupasLoyalty being repaired so that I can earn rewards for my purchases of food I love.

I love the new app! The addition of the rewards program is just one more reason - besides the yummy salads, soups, and sandwiches - to make Cafe Zupas one of my main go-to spots. They’ve made it easy to get those rewards points, whether ordering online, or in-store.
Case in point - I was dining in at Zupas one night and, after finishing my strawberry harvest salad (THE BEST!), I needed to order a meal to go for my son. Of course there was a line, so I continued visiting with my friends at the table, while ordering my son’s meal on CaféZupasLoyalty . Ten minutes later they called my name and my son’s meal was ready! NO WAITING IN LINE!!

I absolutely love the Zupas app! It has made my dining experience at Zupas even better. CaféZupasLoyalty is user-friendly and intuitive, making it a breeze to order my favorite soups, salads, and sandwiches. The best part is the convenience - I can place my order ahead of time, customize it to my liking, and skip the line when I arrive at the restaurant. CaféZupasLoyalty also keeps me informed about promotions and special offers, which is a bonus. Zupas has truly nailed it with CaféZupasLoyalty, and it has become a must-have on my phone for delicious, hassle-free dining. Highly recommended!

I’m just getting the feel for how well CaféZupasLoyalty works. Cafe Zuppas restaurant just recently opened near my home. I LOVE the fresh ingredients in everything on the menu. I’ve used CaféZupasLoyalty to collect rewards, cash in rewards and order ahead to pick up. The employees at the restaurant are always willing to help me with my questions regarding collecting rewards using the scan feature. I just think CaféZupasLoyalty could be more helpful in explaining how the scanning feature works when you are dining in, ordering at the drive thru, and ordering through CaféZupasLoyalty .

It took me a bit to figure out how to get the deals, but once I did, CaféZupasLoyalty is great. For example, in order to get the free drink on orders in August, you had to actually add the drink to your order first. Otherwise, if you just tried to click the redeem option in your cart, it would always give an error stating that the offer could not be redeemed. Had I of know to add a drink first, it would’ve been helpful. I love the ease of quickly ordering in CaféZupasLoyalty and also the re-order your exact last order option. Very cool.
