Talk Now: Text App Number Call Reviews

Im not seeing how someone is leaving positive reviews and considering this to be a great application. For starters, you are paying $50+ for a yearly subscription. This is great but then you are censored on who you can talk to and what you can say. Not to mention, you lose at least 4 credits minimum (currency just to communicate) whether the system lets you talk with someone or not. I guess I just made a bad choice. It’s cheaper buying an extra phone from Walmart and getting another service plan AND you actually have privacy. I’m guessing this company is based out of California. I’m canceling.

You pay to have second number that when you use let’s who you call or text know you are using a virtual number app and requires them to confirm or allow the Text App to send the message to them before they are able to receive. If you are hoping to have two numbers or 2nd line for your business TalkNow will not suffice. Delete TalkNow, don’t waste money. Do yourself a favor learn from my mistake, skip TalkNow and go straight to purchasing a 2nd phone with true 2nd phone line.

I’ve put the number assigned on all business logo, cards, etc Only to find out the caller receives a busy signal! Why is there not a simple message to leave a message or send a text? For the price paid, I expected this simple feature. Disappointed. I have several email with responses to my frustration. Clearly, your company understands. The reviews are horrible. You should refund $$$ before you end up with a class action. Angela

You can get a virtual number with TalkNow. I love how easy it is to use, and I'm able to keep my job applications separate from my personal calls. Receiving SMS on the second number has also been great. Good stuff!

One of my reasons for buying is I no longer have my US phone # since I am residing here in the Philippines. I have tried many times to text or use my number for OTP but it never worked. And 12 credits were used just to test my text. I sent “hi” to my iPhone in the Philippines but never received the text. Any solutions please?

Super good app for a 2nd line. I’ve been using it to separate my work calls from personal ones. The call quality is top notch and texts come through without a hatch. If you need a second phone then this is your best bet :-)

A week in and TalkNow is a great. It's like having a second phone without the cost. Calls and texts come through just fine. If you need a good second number app, this one is it

TalkNow is not a second number. They actually monitor everything you say and decide whether or not you can text certain things. I was having a conversation and it blocked a joke to my friend because it said it was sexual. Very weird. Apparently your texting is not private as they are checking everything you send. Skip TalkNow. Not worth the money.

Read the reviews. TalkNow will filter your messages for content and uses a faulty AI system. It will and does delete messages without warning and they are gone. It is a rogue app that monitors and controls your exchanges. Strongly discourage anyone from using. Go get a Google voice line. They are free and work perfectly.

I can’t send messages from TalkNow and they have no contact information to get help or reach customer service.

UPDATE:
I reached out customer service on their Facebook yesterday morning (that’s the only way to reach them) and they still haven’t responded. Also you can’t send multimedia messages. It’s a SCAM and a RIP-OFF! Don’t get TalkNow!!!! It’s TRASH!!!

I haven't even gone live with my business website, or distributed my number in anyway, yet I’m getting 15-20 robo calls or fake calls a day. Now i have to cancel this number and lose the money and find a new number app or get another line. Extremely disappointed!

I downloaded TalkNow . Did the verification. Got a great number. Waited 24 hours to get verified. Calls were very grainy. Texting does not work. My texts went out but I could not receive incoming texts. I texted the word “dumb” and was suspended for bad language. What?!? I want my money back.

If “registering” a number takes over 48 hours what good is this? I needed to send a text to a customer YESTERDAY and am still unable to do so. If I’m paying weekly, can I have my 2 days back? How hard can it really be. And why does it have to be registered. Highly disappointed.

Great app does everything I need when I can’t reach a buyer.

My app is treating me like I am trying to scam my clients, and I can’t figure out how to contact customer service to fix the problem. I am a new but legitimate business that cannot afford to have my clients thinking I am out to scam them.

You can’t text what you want. It’s crazy they sensor different words. Words like rather or possible … it’s ridiculous…Can’t send picture either … either is a censored word also. So many better apps for this out there. Prob worst app I’ve ever got for my iPhone

i bought this to receive automated messages for verification codes but it doesn’t recieve them at all , on top of that i bought two numbers just to see if it would work and ofc it didn’t . Waste of money

I paid over $50 so I could have a separate number to text from, only to learn that the texting doesn’t work. Out $50 from this dysfunctional scam of an app

I was looking for a second number for my online sales, and TalkNow came to the rescue. It's been great being able to call and text my customers without giving out my personal number. It's a nice way to keep business separate.

Was impressed at how easy it was to setup. Hope the verification process don’t take a long time.
