I just got LetMeKnow today, so maybe it’s the new update, but I get ZERO content from LetMeKnow - only
a “Something Went Wrong” message and a retry button, which does not fix it. The only thing that worked was choosing topics and “bias.” Although clicking through the tabs displayed no articles, it did offer a source that was diametrically opposed to my “bias” choices. Not off to a good start for me. Looked slick and promising.

It took me 3 tries on my iphone to get past the selection screen. Can't get pass it on my ipad. No matter what I type, keep seeing retry. Would be great if there was a restore avail ahead of that screen to pull the choices from my iphone

Right from starting LetMeKnow fresh, it’s a wall of Epoch times, fox, daily caller, ny post, daily caller, zero hedge with some yahoo, abc, and nbc thrown in. Blocked all the former, left the latter but man, really really bad starting distribution of sources.

After 20 minutes of errors. I’m giving up. Total waste of time. Free or not.

After an email from the dev advising the issues of 29th July were sorted out I reinstalled the all and wasted more time with “…something went wrong”
I’m done.

They offered a free lifetime for one day but acknowledged that they were having server problems that made it impossible to accept offer. Server issue only fixed after the offer expired. I can’t trust a company that offers something, but prevents me from taking advantage due to claimed server problems, but never repeats offer one servers back online

Hard to complain about something that was offered for free, but here goes. LetMeKnow never got past putting in things I was interested in. Tried it once and failed; tried to delete it and reinstall it— same problem. When I tried to contact Support through LetMeKnow Store, got a message about a bad link. Anything else you want to know?

This would be an outstanding app, if it would only work. I have two problems. When trying to log in to LetMeKnow , I get “Something went wrong” and a “Retry” button. I have hit the Retry button many times, LetMeKnow appears to think about it for 10-15 seconds then back to retry. Frustrating.
Secondly, I placed LetMeKnow on my phone and iPad. When trying to use it on the iPad, it wants me to purchase a subscription. I thought a purchase would transfer to all devices.
Overall, when it works, it is a fantastic source of news. I know you had a difficulties recently. I’m hoping they will resolve soon.

The news feed customization options are fantastic. This would be the best news app ever created except the feeds frequently time out. I really hope this is temporary due to growing pains of an unexpectedly popular new app.

Please resolve these issues so I can give LetMeKnow five stars.

Needs Apple navigation shortcuts, like swipe back and top tap

I was so happy to find LetMeKnow — it helps me get the news I am interested in reading quickly and I can learn what I want to know, fast. I don’t have to wade through all the garbage news I am not interested in, first. I sometimes find a few spelling or grammar errors in the AI summaries once in a while but I am sure they will work to fix those soon. Thanks for LetMeKnow!

How cool is it to see news from around the world; just read an article from Bangladesh. We live as a huge worldwide community but don’t understand the world around us, well, until now.

You will receive country, state, and city level news reports and you can pick and choose to see what you want to see.

Thank you for the Let me Know app, which is not only useful, it is also cutting edge. I can read stories about medical issues, sports, politics, disasters, the stock market, the Olympics, and stories of people just trying to live their best lives.

Today I read that Stanford has linked Vegan Diets to reduced age…I was Vegan, but today I am adding balanced nutrition to help me remain strong and healthy. By the way, President Biden just announced US debt just exceeded 35 Trillion Dollars.

After the announcement that Artifact is going to close, I found this application as an alternative and I must say that it is very good.

The appearance could use a little improvement, but it works well and you can add a lot of sources. You can also see if these sources have any political bias, which helps a lot, and AI summarizing articles is definitely a plus. Recommended.

LetMeKnow allows you to choose from many feeds and allows you to choose a political bias if you want. It is a quick way to keep updated on you interests.

When my previous favorite news reader (Artifact) shuttered unexpectedly, I was lost. Fortunately I found LetMeKnow that’s a good start in replacing that service. I like the modern look and the fact that you can mute a source entirely.

During the setup I kept getting "something went wrong" error. The developers were experiencing issues which they fixed and updated me. Nice job

Although it has some bugs ("something went wrong" happened multiple times); when it works, it's great! Nice AI summary of the news, link to the actual site, and it's sorted according to partisanship. Hope the bugs get fixed and it becomes more reliable.

Let me start by saying that I like it so much that I am paying for a subscription

It’s in a way better than Artifact data wise. I am actually discovering topics that I like from sources that I didn’t know exist. So I am pretty pleased about that. The AI summary is also mostly good enough.

The user interface takes some getting used to but the developer is very receptive of feedback.

This is so clean and simple. It’s a great way to get my news. Huge fan of the “local” news tab — nice addition.

I was disheartened hearing Artifact was shutting down, but LetMeKnow is even more intuned than Artifact was. This is a saving grace.

This is my new way to get my news and discuss with likeminded people now that artifact is shutting down. Recommend the developer create an open api to expand this
