Bad

First use today didn’t work for four holes finally linked and not user friendly, follow up attempted to use again to no avail absolute trash. Would be great to have strokes gained loss at a touch.

Seems to be glitching or something

2024-08-04

Hello,

I tried this on behalf of a recommendation from a relative. I can’t get any info other than one distance. Every fancy feature costs money that I don’t have. You can give it a try, but extra features cost a lot of money!

Paid app but cant do much more than other apps

2024-09-11

The best feature for ShotPattern is to help golfers figure out the stroke gain and risk/reward percentage and I wanted to try it at my home course. I think what it basically does is to give you stroke gain based on your distance much more than the location of where your ball is. I pointed the direction of my target of a serve to be in the woods where you get blocked by the trees and it still gives me a stroke gain of half a shot. If my ball is in those trees chances of making par is cut Dien at least half and you look at almost a stroke or half a stroke penalty. Anyway it's not that accurate. I'm going to cancel it

On course shot tracking

2024-08-04

ShotPattern would be wonderful except that it NEEDS on course shot tracking.

To expect a high or even mid handicapper to remember every shot of the round that was just played is a bit much to ask for. If you figure playing bogey golf, with two putts on every green, that’s still 54 shots that have to be RECALLED and tracked after the round. In my humble opinion, that is unrealistic.

I understand wanting to keep ShotPattern interface as uncluttered as possible. I don’t know how difficult it would be to make on course shot tracking an option that can be turned on or off. For most of us hackers, it ABSOLUTELY is needed.

Good but Missing Basics

2024-09-17

I like the idea of using your shot pattern to predict the best play. But there’s not even an option to keep your score on ShotPattern . Add score and slope (plays like) then it’s usable. Add green heat maps and wind direction it’s the best gps map in ShotPattern Store.

Sooo Good!!!

2024-09-11

This is such a sweet app. Easy to use and so much data. And I love that I don’t have anything on my clubs. The stats pages have so much information. Get ShotPattern!!

Incredible App

2024-09-11

ShotPattern has brought my golf game and course management to another level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great App

2024-09-11

Love to use ShotPattern to prepare for new courses I am not familiar with. Great distance accuracy and detail to plan course management. Now if ShotPattern could help me actually hit where I want the ball to go, that would be a solid six star!

Loving it

2024-09-17

At first you think it is just a typical golf GPS map tool. Then you enter a few rounds of data (or upload from a launch monitor) and suddenly you now have detailed stats on YOUR dispersion patterns (side and front to back), percentages inside X yards dispersion, etc and can make very informed decisions on selecting targets in course. Club level strokes gained (can’t even get that from my Shotscope dashboard), detailed driving and approach stats. This thing is great for previewing courses to select targets and clubs. And still young in development. Can’t wait to see how it grows.

Incredible app

2024-09-11

Have tried pretty much every app on the market for golf. But each app is reactive in their ability to help me get better. With this app, I can take a proactive approach towards my game, and have data to back up if I am making the right decision.

Top Tier Golf App!

2024-09-11

I’ve used several of the golf apps and this is by far the most sophisticated. Integrating your dispersion using trackman data and on course results is next level and found it to be extremely accurate. Highly recommend for stepping up your game!

Great App

2024-09-11

Support has been amazing! Email response is very quick. Developers are eager to help. Preview feature is great for preparing

Nice

2024-09-11

Really cool to see visualization of your own shot patterns (imported from launch monitor) onto a course map.

Round Entry takes longer than 5 minutes

2024-07-17

I want to like ShotPattern. However they encourage you to enter the info after your round which is not bad because I hate looking at my phone on the course. The round preview feature is great if you play new courses frequently. But the round entry takes way to long…you mark the hole, you mark the tee, you mark your target, you mark where your ball went, etc. ShotPattern isn’t there yet.

Great Analysis After Recent Tournament

2024-09-11

The data that Shot Pattern supplies following a round is critical to improving your game. A little bit of time and money invested in ShotPattern goes as far to helping you play your best as anything else in the industry. With ShotPattern, you know exactly where you need to focus your practice efforts.

Wow

2024-08-30

I’ve been looking for a course management app to help gain some insight into the strokes gained metrics…and I’ve been blown away with how helpful Shot Pattern has been.

I’ve heard that you can get buried in stats with stroked gained metrics, but Shot Pattern has made it really easy to navigate with very little thought.

Dashboards are easy to navigate, settings are straight forward, and transitions are smooth…all around great product.

Excellent app!

2024-08-30

ShotPattern has completely changed my course strategy. I am no longer guessing carry distances and hoping I have enough club. I can do the research ahead of time and see the exact distances between points and what my dispersion would be. Cannot wait to start using it during the season more!

Time and money saver

2024-08-30

ShotPattern saves me so much time not having to play a practice round before a tournament. Also, it saves money by not having to play a practice round. The scouting ability of ShotPattern allows me to look at strategy before so I can spend more time with my family.

Next level golf IQ

2024-08-30

This is ShotPattern for serious golfers who want to think like a tour pro. Very impressive. Everything I can think of for an app like this has already been incorporated. The ability to take real launch monitor data and plan a round in advance is very very cool. Looking forward to lower scores!

Easy to use, powerful data

2024-09-11

Move over Arccos — this is the best shot tracking app out there for people that want to track what’s most important, and don’t need all the fluff cluttering the other shot tracking options.

I personally hate having to track stats on course, and Shot Pattern makes post round data entry a breeze.

All important data is recorded (SG, Tiger 5) and more. I could see this being the best option out there until real time shot recording becomes truly effortless and accurate.

Excellent for tee shots on a course you play everyday or for the first time.

2024-09-11

I use it to map my daily course and it is essential for when you travel. It’s much better than the other gps options in that you can alter the dispersion, easily move the map overlay and figure out the best targets into the greens. I haven’t used it for the stats tracking yet, but like the fact that I can enter partial rounds and get data since sometimes I jump out for a quick 4-6 holes after dinner.

Favorite Golf GPS

2024-09-11

I’ve used em all. Arccos, Shotscope, 18 birdies, DECADE, you name it. The ability to track your tee shots and approach proximity based on where you were ACTUALLY aiming is something no other app offers. You can set up custom target widths off the tee and approach circles based on your dispersions. It’s such a game changer for executing better course management, and also gives you the ability to prep for a golf course or tournament before playing it.

The best digital yardage book app

2024-10-11

Absolutely great yardage book app. Could not be much better. If they added a simple way to input shots without dragging and dropping on the map it would be perfect for strokes gained tracking!

Upgraded game.

2024-10-12

My focus shifted recently to course management, ShotPattern was the tech I needed to go with my improving discipline and mindset on the course. It’s simple, but seeing my dispersion pattern gives me a ton of confidence as I commit and try to execute each shot.

All in One

2024-07-18

Fantastic app that combines real data with modern strikes gained strategy.

Game

2024-07-18

Very useful on the course for people who don’t have a range finder.

Duff money

2024-07-18

What a app shooting lower and having more fun on the course

Essential golf app

Amazing golf app for course strategy and stat tracking!
