About ShotokanKata
Even prospects and beginners can easily follow the kata sequences because of many illustrations.
•The portrait mode allows you to recognize and study important details, since illustrations are bigger.
You study a kata form, than let it slide and soon you forget the sequence.
• Which kata did I study last ? The list with the kata forms is build as a to-do-list.
• Landscape mode offers you a view of multiple graphics at one time to be able to better follow the sequences.
So it happens often, that the student forgets the next step in the middle of the kata form.
Depending on your progress, you can hook a kata off to change its order for a better overview.
• 3 different animation speeds and free scrolling allow you to adjust the app to the individual learning progress.
Available in german, english, french, italian and spanish.
• Two final techniques are always bound with three movements inbetween.
• Always available legend allows you to look up the symbols really fast.

Straight to the point. All information is available and easy to read. This is not going to teach you kata, but it is a quick reference for ALL shotokan kata. Perfect.

Would be very useful… if it worked!
I downloaded the free version years ago and then almost immediately bought the pro version. It worked fine for a while but then only the free kata were showing in ShotokanKata even though I paid for all. I tried the “cart” button to see if there is a way to restore my purchase but every time I did that ShotokanKata froze so I ended up deleting it and obviously losing the money. I saw it again recently, apparently updated, so I downloaded it again. Guess what?! When I tap the “cart” button it freezes just like before! I see now you can buy the pro version separately but I paid for it in the past, why should I spend $13.99 again?!
