MoonBoard looks wonderful; less rough than the last version. The biggest issues I have are the settings that revert themselves after I close MoonBoard . Examples are climbs that I have favourited and then they are undone after relaunching, and light/dark themes reverting as well.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add connectivity for multiple phones at once like Kilter.

Reset app and got latest version. My old app still works.

Hey guys! Good app, still can’t share lights!

Like a lot of other comments said, 80% of the time it won’t load past the logo so MoonBoard isn’t even usable. I also can’t log any climbs when I do get into MoonBoard which is also frustrating since I can’t track anything. I can click to add to my log and fill out all the info but it won’t register.

There’s also some issue where I can’t reset my password after trying to delete and redownload MoonBoard to get it to work. Not sure if it’s because a “hide my email” address autofilled in when I was creating my account but I’ve tried multiple times to reset my info and no emails are being sent to me (yes, I checked the junk and spam folders as well).

Installed MoonBoard and was able to log in using existing account. The next time I opened MoonBoard it never got past the splash screen. Had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. Tried opening MoonBoard again the next day and same issue. Please fix soon since ticking no longer works in the old app.
Beyond that, the new UI looks a bit nicer.

I was reluctantly hopeful to see that this app had a new app today. But my worries were validated when I realized it did not solve the most glaring problem with MoonBoard : lack of support for multiple users at once. It is still a massive pain to hand off Bluetooth control between users, making it very annoying to session with even one other person. I really hope they add this feature because come on, this was solved by Kilter and Tension ages ago

With the new update it MoonBoard opens just fine now! I have encountered a small glitch - if I log a climb of a certain grade and then switch in the filters to a different grade, the climbs logged earlier still show up. Outside of that MoonBoard feels like a huge upgrade!

Love the this app and I liked the old app. This new version doesn’t seem to have a conversion from font scale to V scale which is weird because the old app did. Also I’m having trouble even opening MoonBoard . It just gets stuck on the opening screen and I can’t look at climbs

Having a similar issue as others where MoonBoard opens and works fine once. But reopening MoonBoard after closing it will hang on the loading screen. It can be fixed by reinstalling MoonBoard but hopefully this issue gets fixed eventually.

Otherwise MoonBoard is a nice step up from the previous version.

I keep trying to open MoonBoard but it doesn’t work and gets stuck on the loading page.

Tried viewing my ranking and MoonBoard got stuck on a loading screen, after shutting off my phone and restarting app it wouldn’t stop loading and I couldn’t get in. Had to redownload it for it to work

Issues from previous versions are fixed. this app reigns supreme once again

I love my moon board but MoonBoard was not tested enough before disabling the old app. I lost all my logged climbs. Password reset feature doesn't work and it crashes often. When working, it does seem to operate quicker and more smoothly than the old app, hence two stars rather than one.

Working okay. Miss the timer beta feature. Please bring that back and make it legit not a beta feature.

More intuitive to use than the old app, but completely broken after closing MoonBoard (have to restart my phone every time I want to open MoonBoard ). At least allow us to use the old app until all the bugs (or at least *some* of the bugs in this case) have been ironed out.

Nice upgrade but sometimes after closing it won’t open unless I delete and redownload MoonBoard .

In order to open MoonBoard I need to redownload it every single time. Looks like a common issue that I hope is resolved soon. Beyond that the functionality of MoonBoard is much better.

The new this app app is much nicer than the old app but oh boy does it have some issues.

Typically I can’t open MoonBoard with it hanging on the opening logo screen and I’m not able to use MoonBoard without restarting my phone. And often I am plagued with 500 code errors when searching and login climbs.

Once these issues are fixed it’s an easy 5!

I this app about 4 times a week. The old app no longer lets me log climbs so I have to download the new app each time I go to the gym. Also cannot switch to V scale, but I can overlook that if the loading issue is resolved. Seems like a common problem that needs to be fixed!

Can’t log any climbs, dudeeeee. Some of my climbs I put up also aren’t showing up on the updated app. Please re-enable the old app while you sort all these bugs out so we have something that functions and can track our training.

Huge upgrade from previous app, but still room for much improvement. Rankings take a while to update after sending new benchmarks cause sometimes it’ll take a whole day for new sends to be reflected. The bluetooth switching feature would be great to have as well. There’s no way to filter out benchmarks (that I’m aware of), so if that feature could be added as well that would be great so I can try some non-benchmarks without having to scroll a bunch.

Love the board. But why is it so hard to fix the light pairing so that multiple people can switch between their climbs? Please update this!

If I make a problem a project I’m unable to turn it into a solved problem, it just stays a project. Pls fix

MoonBoard is a real improvement but was missing the one feature I was hoping they’d finally build out. The moon board is still very painful to use with multiple people since only one person can control the lights. Absolutely need to pull in a feature similar to other board apps where multiple people can connect and each person can choose to override the lights so 2+ people can quickly switch their problems.

Y'all really released a new app without adding the auto disconnect feature thats standard on all the other board apps? This feature should have been a priority for the new release.

Never updated so I couldn’t log climbs for a week. Thinking I’ll reinstall to fix the issue and now I’m locked out my account. New layout is awful…

Crashes all the time. Leaderboard doesn’t work half the time. No search by hood feature. Bring back the old app.

How does MoonBoard keep getting worse?!

1. If you log a climb, then next time you swipe forward it goes forward by 2 problems.
2. when pulling down to refresh in problem list, often gets stuck at loading screen

Such a good product and concept but MoonBoard side constantly crashes and loses information after every update.

Don’t waste your time. MoonBoard is worthless. Logged you out constantly doesn’t keep track of send absolute garbage.

Stop making new boards and please work on a better app.

GARBAGE APP

Please make the "build a problem" not automatically change the lights whenever a hold is selected. There are settings for every other mode. This is a major degradation from the previous app. It makes it completely impossible to set routes when a group is climbing. -- People, not just gyms and businesses, have spent so much money to build this board in their garages and this poorly built application is the only way to turn the lights on. You need any reasonable kind of testing in place before repeatedly releasing uniquely broken versions over and over.

Do you remember the old spinning wheel of death on 90s computers? MoonBoard is now that. I’m having to reinstall every session, often more than twice. This is silly.

Lots of bugs:

-ranking does not work: says climber not ranked for this setup. No clear indication of how to change this.
-viewing problems set by others: does not show their problems, only shows a a random list of benchmarks or problems.
-searching for gym: only shows exact match of name, and not if you click enter, only when still typing.
-freezes when you pull down to reload list of climbs.
