I‘ve been using the moon app (the old and new one) for some years now.
Today I was logged out, because something timed out. Now I cannot exclude my repeats. Or they are gone I don’t know. But the app only excludes less than 40 routes. And a lot of routes I am 100% sure I have logged are gone.
That’s very frustrating if you paid 1300€ + for the holds …
The community asked for an open source app for multiple years and the app just keeps getting worse…

As title says, app freezes a lot, especially at start

Not possible to sign up via Apple, nor with a normal mail addy =\

What a bad piece of software: login, filtering and much more has so bad design or outright bugs all over the place. You want examples? When you log in, this isn’t possible via an email. You need to provide your username. But in case you forgot that username, there is no way to retrieve it (because you only reset the password, but you don’t get the username). Thus, you better remember that globally unique name you assigned yourself a couple of months or even years ago.

And the filter function is so ill designed, when switching from one setup to another, some routes get displayed in the wrong setup.

It’s really the worst app I’ve used for a long time.

App only starts once. Then have to be deleted and reinstalled.
And whenn running i see no advantage to the version before.
But the old version cannot save routes anymore in logbook, because there is a new version.

and I was hoping for a good solution to light up via various phones… still not handy to User with a group of people…

Why would you release an app that’s not done at all… it lags when you select filters it freezes Right now it doesn’t even open anymore. And making the old app not work anymore while the new one doesn’t work yet is simply incromprehensible for me. Nevertheless I love the diese App more than any other board but this app just feels like a bad school project

Worked your way up to 3 stars now I’ll keep updating the stars as long as the app keepsgetting g better

For anyone confused about the new feature with green and red buttons: try and fail -> press red, counts as repeat / try and send -> press green, climb done / back button -> reduce repeat counter. Super not intuitive… why not just add +/- and ok? On top: why highlight climbing rule if virtually all climbs use the same “any marked holds”? Now every climb highlights the same sentence.

The new buttons make sense once you know what they do. But why not + and -. Same amount of buttons and more intuitive. Now I want to be able to log a climb without grading it. I just tick it and repeat the grade that’s given therefore I will ruin the community grade.
Why can’t I see my score in the profile…
